“Rui, you look terrible. Thin, pale. Look at me, handsome, right?” Dan lay down beside Rui.

“Yeah, I'm an ugly duckling. While you, an ugly black swan.” Rui replied to his brother's words.

They laughed, then started reminiscing about their beautiful childhood. Rui's face was no longer pale; he looked enthusiastic.

“Rui, I will stay here to take care of you. You must recover quickly, okay?”

“What about your wife? Have you signed the divorce papers? From the beginning, I warned you, she's not a good girl. Unfortunately, you love her so much.”

Dan chuckled, he told all his stories while being with Laura, including the recent incident.

“Enough, you don't need to remember anymore. Luckily, I found the right donor for you. I have another surprise prepared for you, but you have to be patient because I will tell you when I'm fully recovered.”

Dan agreed, then he closed his eyes trying to sleep. The air in the room was quite comfortable, the air conditioner worked well. In the corner of Rui's room, there was a small table for drinking coffee or tea, a family tradition of the Winston family.

A large curtain in ivory yellow added an elegant impression, a large and expensive bed in the middle of the room. There was a bathroom door in the west corner, connecting the room to a collection of clothes, shoes, watches, and bathroom supplies, towels, bedsheets, and so on.

A long console table, with a large gold-framed mirror in front of the bed. A cozy sofa with dark red velvet upholstery was beneath the bed. The siblings fell asleep.

“Dan, you finally came back. Forgive me.” Teddy, Dan's grandfather, looked full of regret, turned off the bedroom light, then closed the door slowly.

Teddy returned to the room, where Katy sat at the dressing table combing her graying hair.

“Good, change your clothes, and let's sleep.”

Teddy changed his clothes, then got into bed. The bedside lamp was turned on, and they tried to fall asleep.

The next morning, Rui was eager to clean himself up, looking neat and smelling good. The scent of expensive masculine perfume wafted from his fresh-looking body. Dan woke up and opened the large curtain, letting the sunlight in.

“Hey, you can wear my clothes if it pleases you.”

“Well, good morning Rui. Aren't there clothes in my room too? Okay, I'll take a shower, and we'll go down for breakfast. I'll go to my room.”

Dan headed to a door next to the console table; it was the connecting door between Rui's room and his brother Dan's room. Since they were little, it had been that way because Rui was afraid of having bad dreams about an accident.

Rui's spirit had returned when he learned his brother would stay at the mansion. Teddy and Katy were also pleased with the presence of their grandson.

In less than thirty minutes, Dan was ready. He asked Rui to sit in a wheelchair, and he would push him to the dining room. They headed to the elevator to the first floor; Rui was not fully recovered, so his body was still weak.

At the dining table were many favorite foods of Rui and his brother, Dan. There were honey grilled chicken, beef dishes, several soups, milk pie, and fruit pie as desserts. Cathy seemed very busy.

“Hello, boys. Sit down. There's a special dish for you.”

“Granny, it's just breakfast. Why is there a full meal like dinner?”

“Enough, don't be fussy. Your task is to eat all your favorites.”

Rui and Dan looked at each other, their faces showing joy. Dan rarely liked the food that was served during his life with Laura. Teddy looked at his grandsons with a happy feeling; he didn't say anything and was also sparing with praise.

An hour later, they had finished dinner. Now in the family room, Ed came and asked Dan to come to the office.

“Winston Company is not doing well. I mean, there are many sly foxes there. I ask for your help, Dan. Likewise, I apologize for accusing you without evidence. As an apology, I give the company to you. Ed has arranged everything.”

Ed explained that the company was actually growing rapidly, but Teddy suspected that some investors were playing dirty.

Dan felt relieved; he and Ed headed to the Winston Company office. Unexpectedly, in the lobby, they met Laura and Roger Bronx.

Dan just smiled and ignored him; he was reluctant to pick a fight.

“Dan, if you're not accepted to work here, B' Enterprise will take you. Kneel at my feet."

Dan stopped in his tracks, turned around, and smiled.

“Hey, buddy. Don't spit in the sky.”

Dan entered the exclusive elevator and left Roger behind.

“Darling, what does this mean? Why can Dan use the exclusive elevator?”

“He must have a mole who's been bribed, wait a moment, I'll contact my cousin.” Roger grabbed his phone cellular and contacted someone.

Roger contacted his cousin, who was the financial manager, asking whether he could use the exclusive elevator or not.

Shortly after, Justin, Roger's cousin, arrived. Arrogantly, he escorted Roger and Laura using the elevator.

“Mr. Bronx, you are not allowed to use that elevator without permission.” A stern voice from behind stopped their steps.
