Cristian's pov
"You're very sweet, Cristian. I really enjoyed this date," said jeslyn with a happy face.
I just smiled lazily. I don't know, maybe Jeslyn is just for my entertainment. I never cared about her in the slightest.
I enjoyed the dinner in this luxurious hotel with pleasure. They really treated me very well. That's because they know that I'm the son of a billionaire.
My cell phone rang while I was enjoying the caviar in my mouth.
"Hello, Father," I said kindly.
"Cristian, I hope you'll see me soon. It's very important."
"Okay, Dad, I'll see you soon," I said quickly and put my cell phone in my pants pocket.
"Where are you going Cristian?" Jeslyn asked, looking like she didn't want me to go.
"It's none of your business," I said flatly. I stood up and walked away but Jeslyn grabbed my arm hard.
"The two of us haven't even gotten to the next, more romantic stage. Where are you going baby? Don't rush off. I miss you so much," Jeslyn said in a spoiled voice.
"Let go of the slut!" I said firmly. I quickly stepped into the car.
Now I didn't care about Jeslyn. Because she's the same woman I've dated before. They were all of course just to entertain me when I was bored.
The tall, intricate iron gate was now visible. My car entered the winding asphalt courtyard. There are beautiful trees on the side of the road. My father's big house is very cozy. I arrived at the front door of the house. For some reason, my heart was pounding. I was afraid something would happen to my father. Considering he has a serious illness.
"Welcome, sir," said the maid politely.
"Dad, dad," I called anxiously as I walked through the living room and center room. I didn't pay any attention to the few employees of my father who saluted me.
I saw my father standing on the balcony with an old stature. I greeted him quietly. He seemed to be doing well. He smiled at me warmly.
"I thought you wouldn't be here," Dad said with a chuckle as he patted my arm familiarly.
"There was no way I was going to stay silent when you told me to see you."
"You're a good boy Cristian. Well, at least you're not like Lucas," Dad said and sighed heavily.
"Dad, I heard from mom that you visit the doctor regularly. Are you okay? What about your cancer?"
His hand stroked my arm gently as he looked at my face.
"You really care about your father. You're very different from your brother Lucas,"
"Dad please... I'm serious," I frowned.
Dad nodded slowly.
"Alright, I'm going to have a serious talk with you this time. So actually I'm no longer able to lead the business. You see for yourself, don't you, how I am now?" My father spread his hands for a moment. The wrinkled skin on his face seemed to illustrate how much he struggled to grow his business.
"I really want you to be in charge of the business. I want to entrust the business to you. There's no way I'm handing over the company to your brother Lucas. Because you know, right? He has a lot of expenses. He can't control what's important and what's not. So I can only rely on you," he paused for a moment and then he looked at me seriously.
"I also have a condition for you. The condition is that you get married. You know Julia? She's very good at business. Her family is also very good. Julia's beauty is unquestionable. Are you...?
"Wait, what do you mean?"
"Yes, I mean, maybe Julia is perfect for you,"
"Sorry, but I already have a fiancé," I said spontaneously. It was because I wasn't interested in Julia. We met and chatted at a business event once. I'm really not interested in Julia at all. Another reason why I wasn't married was because I didn't believe that there really was a woman who loved me. My mother even divorced my father. My mother was a very arrogant person and she was only in love with my father's wealth.
"That's good. Fantastic! When are we going to talk? I'd love to chat with you two," Dad said enthusiastically.
"As soon as possible dad, I'll arrange it," I said confidently. Damn, how am I supposed to find a fiancé? I can't get a fiancé that fast.
"Well, let's put it this way. You invite your fiancé to your retirement party. Okay, Saturday?"
Saturday is three days from now. Oh my god! Is my dad kidding.
"Okay dad, Saturday,"
How could I say something like this. I don't even have a fiancé right now.

Selena's pov
Now I'm in front of my best friend's house. Because I don't know where else to go. Maybe only Lili and Sarah can help me now.
I pressed the bell with shaking hands. Because the weather outside is very cold and then added with my broken feelings. It made me even more miserable.
The first face I saw now was Lili. She was my best friend in high school. The girl with curly hair hugged me. She said that she missed me a lot. Then she released her hug and looked at my face with pity.
"Oh my God! What happened to you? Did you cry all night? Your eyes look so sad,"
I could only nod at the words that came out of Lili's mouth.
"Oh my God, come in quickly Selena," Lili said pulling my wrist quickly.
Sarah now came out of her room and she was also very surprised to see me. Of course she was shocked because I seemed to be a tramp. I was carrying a big bag and my face was also very wrinkled.
"Tell us both what happened?" Sarah held both my wrists.
I sobbed even more. Remembering how evil Cody was.
"Are you hurt because of Cody? Did he ask to break up with you?" Lili asked very curious.
I nodded three times and now I started talking. I tried to control my emotions.
"I'm so messed up right now. My life is really like shit. I got fired from my job. Cody also suddenly broke up with me. He left with my money and gold necklace. He even borrowed money in my name. Now I have to pay for everything. Do you know how much it is? Five hundred thousand dollars!" I said with widened eyes. I sighed heavily.
"Son of a bitch! Cody is crazy! I promise I'll punch him if I ever see him!" Sarah shouted, clenching her hands into fists.
"You'd better work at my place!" said Lili enthusiastically.
I was silent for a moment. Lili works in a hotel. She was the hotel's cleaner. That means she has to clean every dirty room in the hotel.
"Well maybe that's not so bad. I'll give it a try," I said with a nod of my head.
For the time being I stayed at Lili and Sarah's house. They were the only ones who could currently help me.
A few days later I was ready to work at the hotel. Lili taught me many things about the job as a cleaner.
"Lili, I'm actually very nervous about working in such a luxurious hotel. Because all the guests in this hotel are important people. I'm afraid I'll make a faux pas," I said softly.
"You just take it easy. If you get used to it, you'll be able to get through everything well. Now it's your turn to clean room 311."
Now I'm pushing my cleaning equipment. There were rags and all kinds of cleaning tools. I looked at the door and found it unlocked. Yes, maybe the guest forgot to lock the door after leaving the room.
I walked casually and suddenly I saw a couple in a blanket on the bed.
"Sorry, I'm sorry. I really didn't know anyone was in this room," I exclaimed quickly and quickly stepped out but suddenly the man shouted loudly.
"Hey! Stupid woman! Come here!" The man exclaimed and I was forced to stop my steps.
I turned around slowly. I saw the man's face looked angry.
"Come here!" He ordered sternly. While I saw the woman beside him looking at me like trash.
"If you don't want to get fired. Don't tell anyone about this incident. Do you understand?"
"I understand, sir," I said with my head down. Because I was really scared. Who would I tell anyway. I didn't even know the man in front of me.
"Get out now!" the man said firmly.
I quickly left the room and closed the door tightly. My eyeballs looked up as I breathed heavily walking down the long hallway.
"Oh my God, how could I be so careless. Actually, that guy was wrong too. Why didn't he lock the door? What a crazy man. Ah, never mind. I don't need to think about that guy. I hope I won't meet that guy again," I said hopefully in my heart.
Cristian's pov
"I'm not in the mood anymore," I said, sitting down quickly.
The woman who was my secretary suddenly had a sullen face.
"Christina, please. Don't make me angry. I still want you Christian," Kitty said with a pouty face. She was so spoiled.
"We'll continue sometime," I said lazily. Although I didn't know when I would be interested in Kitty again.
Now I quickly went to the bathroom. Afterwards I was ready to meet a client at this hotel. The meeting will start in an hour. I intend to go to the hotel's restaurant to eat.
Kitty was holding my arm in a spoiled manner. Her face was pleading.
"Crhistian I hope you won't forget this incident dear,"
"Let go of me Kitty," I said firmly as I moved my arm and now I was released from her grasp.
"Christian!" Kitty called out in an angry tone.
"Stop that loud voice. I don't like it! I'll just give you some money," I said quickly opening my phone and sending her some money.
Kitty immediately looked at her phone screen and saw that it was a very large amount according to Kitty.
"This is too much Christian. That's very kind of you," Kitty said with a sweet smile looking at her phone screen.
"Enjoy!" I left at a fast pace after saying that.
Arriving at a restaurant in this hotel. There was a very luxurious ornament with a layer of gold. Everything is gold-colored. The impression of luxury is very thick in this room.
When I was enjoying my delicious food suddenly someone nudged my elbow. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a hotel cleaner who mistakenly entered my room.
"Why are you always so careless, you stupid woman!" I said in annoyance.
"Sorry sir, forgive me," he said with a guilty face. Her hand was holding a cleaning tool.
"You won't believe the price of this food. This is very expensive food. If it falls I'm sure you won't be able to pay for it," I said with annoyance while looking at my delicious food that was almost ruined by this stupid girl in front of me.
"I'm sorry sir, once again I apologize," she said with an unfocused look on my face. This girl looked behind me and suddenly she walked quickly to the direction behind me. What a rude girl this cleaner is.
"Cody! What are you in this expensive hotel for? You can even eat at this restaurant. Oh my God, I can't believe this," the cleaning lady said in a high tone. She was scolding a man who was sitting with a beautiful woman.
Unfortunately, I heard their argument and it made me uncomfortable.
"Hey! Selana! Don't make me angry. You're no longer my lover! You'd better get lost!" The man snapped angrily.
"How can you eat with that girl next to you in an expensive hotel like this? You owe me five hundred thousand dollars! And I have to pay off that debt! You're really bad Cody! Why did you have to use my name to borrow that debt?"
Just as suddenly as the girl finished speaking. The man kicked the table. I was curious to see the two of them. Because some people also saw them arguing.
I saw the man slap the girl roughly. I don't know why I was so angry with the man's actions.
The cleaning girl fought the man by trying to punch him but unfortunately the girl was too weak. The girl got punched in the face and her nose bled. Shit! I can't let this go on. I really hate men who hurt girls like that. I walked quickly to the table.
"Don't hurt this girl! If you don't leave here right now. I'll kick you out of here!" I snapped at the man harshly.
He looked at me sarcastically. But afterward he looked scared. Maybe it was my appearance that indicated I was a rich man. That made the man and the girl beside him choose to leave quickly from the restaurant table.
"Are you okay?" I asked the cleaning girl worriedly. I saw her looking down, clutching her bloody nose.
I held her hand quickly.
"Come with me to the hospital now," I said quickly.
When I arrived at the hospital, I waited in the waiting room. I hoped that the girl was okay. Because I really felt sorry for the girl who was injured like that.
"Are you okay?" I asked anxiously looking at the girl in front of me.
"I feel fine now," the girl replied while holding her bruised lips. Her nose was no longer bleeding.
"I'm sorry, but I can't repay your kindness sir, I'll really reimburse you if I get a salary at that hotel. Or maybe I'll be fired. But I promise to pay the hospital fees," the girl said solemnly.
I took a slow breath. I had a brilliant idea now. Maybe this girl really needs a lot of money, considering the conversation she had with her ex-boyfriend at the hotel earlier.
"This is my business card. I hope you want to work at my place," I said firmly.
The girl accepted my business card with a surprised look on her face.
"I'll be going, see you soon," I said as I quickly walked away.
Hopefully, she would meet me at the office tomorrow morning. Because I really need that girl.
