Ch. 4Let Me Go!

The security guards then tried to surround Sarah, so that she could not go anywhere.

"Please let me go, sir!" Sarah clasped her hands together in front of her chest. "That man wants to destroy my future!" she explained with a pleading face.

"Is that true, Miss?!" asked the security guard who blocked Sarah's footsteps.

Sarah nodded her head vigorously.

"Very fitting then. You can't go anywhere, so we can take that man to the police station to account for his actions, and then you will be the witness!" the guard explained, to which the other two friends agreed, and they walked over to Sarah, intending to protect her if what she said was true.

Sarah was only able to sigh tiredly, because this way her action to escape, could certainly fail completely. She was even in danger of being fired for coming to work late at the karaoke place, even though only there could give her a salary as well as a large tip every time the ladies finished serving the guests who came. Meanwhile, her daytime job at the bakery couldn't cover her living expenses with Satria who had to drink formula milk every time she had to go to work.

Meanwhile, Aditya finally arrived in front of them all with his breathing labored and sweat showing on his forehead. "Thank you, officers, for arresting my wife. If it wasn't for you, maybe she would have tried to escape again," he explained while flashing a faint smile.

The three officers then both rounded their mouths as they looked at each other with their heads nodding slowly.

Sarah shook her head vigorously and crossed her arms as she said. "No! That's not true! I'm not his wife! This man is lying, sir!" she argued. Hoping the three officers would believe her.

"Hmmm... which one is it?!" grumbled another officer with a frown of astonishment. "The father says she's his wife. I said she's not! Which one is right?" he asked irritably, feeling played by the two people in front of him, who he felt were playing games.

"I'm honest, sir. He's not my husband anymore! He's just my ex-husband who wants to force me to do something that we shouldn't do anymore because he's no longer who I am, just the father of our child," said Sarah loudly. She didn't care if she had to endure the embarrassment of revealing everything, as long as they could keep Aditya safe.

Aditya chuckled, but he quickly reached into his back pants pocket. Then he took his wallet, opened it and took his identity card. Only then did he hand it to the security guard standing in front of Sarah, because he was standing next to her, and now Sarah was again keeping her distance from him, making him a little annoyed at his ex-wife's overbearing behavior.

"What's this, sir?" asked the security guard, looking puzzled at the ID card and Aditya's face.

"You can see for yourself on my identity card. It says I'm married, as well as my home address. Then you can also ask this woman to give you her identity card. It will say that she is also married and her home address will be the same as mine," Aditya said straightforwardly, smiling triumphantly as he turned to Sarah who paled although it was faintly visible due to the make-up she wore on her face. But from the expression on her face, it was clear that she must not have expected him to do this.

"Okay," said the officer as he accepted the identification card. Then read it silently to himself. Meanwhile, the other officer immediately walked over to Sarah who was walking backwards awkwardly, making the security guard suspicious of her.

"Why, ma'am? Can't you deny that you are husband and wife?" he asked sternly.

"I-I," Sarah was getting nervous. Cold sweat began to break out from her forehead as well as the other pores of her skin.

"Seeing your response, I'm convinced that you're telling the truth. Duh... Mom, if there are household problems, don't fight in public! It's embarrassing, Mom, if it has to become public consumption. It's better for you to settle it in private, because it's embarrassing to be seen in public arguing with your spouse!" the officer reprimanded, advising Sarah who was now bowing her head.

The woman was at a loss for what to say, because her identity card had not yet changed its status. Meanwhile, they had just officially divorced this afternoon. Meanwhile, what she submitted as a supporting file for the divorce was a color photocopy that she laminated so that she did not have to often photocopy her original identity card, which she was worried would damage the card if it was too often exposed to the heat of the photocopy machine. Meanwhile, the verdict file would only be out next week, so she had no proof whatsoever that they were divorced.

Seeing the silence of the woman in front of them, the three officers shook their heads.

Aditya, meanwhile, is now smiling broadly, triumphantly. He was really happy to have silenced his ex-wife's mouth. He was also grateful for her idea of photocopying his identity card with a color copy and laminating it too, just like hers. Until his original identity card was still in his hands.

"Ta-but, I'm not lying ladies and gentlemen... this man is indeed my ex-husband and he forced me here to impose his will on me. I had to go to work at the karaoke and now I'm already late," Sarah said with a pleading face for the three men to believe her.

"There's no proof, Mom! How are we going to believe what you're saying at this rate?" the officer complained again as he looked wearily at Sarah, for she seemed stubborn.

"But I'm telling the truth, sir...!" Sarah begged the three of them to believe her.

But all three shook their heads in unison, refusing to believe her.

Sarah then sobbed, not knowing what evidence to give to make them believe her.

Aditya, who saw his ex-wife shaking her head, slowly walked up to the woman, then embraced her waist tightly, making Sarah's eyes widen, shocked at being hugged in such a way by the man. She then tried to push her ex-husband's body to let go of his embrace. But Aditya insisted.

"Are you staying here?" asked one of the officers, because he was reluctant to see this intimate thing taking place in front of his eyes.

"Yes," Aditya replied while turning to the officer, without releasing his embrace. "Room 203," he said with a faint smile.

"Oh, good! Please have fun, ladies and gentlemen!" The three of them invited with their hands stretched forward.

"Thanks!" said Aditya happily, dragging Sarah inside. He couldn't wait to have another taste of his ex-wife, who was even more beautiful after her divorce. She even had the courage to wear perfume, so much so that her scent wafted to his senses. While when she was still with him, Sarah was reluctant to wear perfume, even if it was just a little, to the point of making herself unappetizing.

"Adit... let me go, please!" Sarah pleaded again when they reached the hotel lobby, where the door man appeared to open the door while flashing a polite smile. Although she was surprised at the behavior of the two, she didn't dare ask.

"No way! It's your own fault you're so pretty now! Why haven't you been this beautiful and fragrant since yesterday! Makes you lustful, doesn't it?!" Aditya grumbled while still dragging Sarah's waist in his arms, until they arrived in front of the elevator doors.

"Please, Adit! Let me go!" Sarah was still trying to plead, even now her tears were flowing down her cheeks.

"Once no, yes no! How naggy!" Aditya grumbled again as he pulled Sarah into the elevator which now had its doors open. Then immediately pressed number two, where her room was located.

"Adit...," Sarah's lips trembled, as the fear returned to her, as the elevator doors slammed shut and the movement of the elevator they were riding to the top floor was felt.

"Shush... be quiet! If you whine again, I'm forcing you right now, sweetheart!" Aditya scolded, getting angrier. He then pulled Sarah back towards the exit, as the elevator stopped at the floor she was on.

"I don't want to, Adit!" Sarah shook her head, trying to resist his wishes.

"CK! You're a pain in the ass, aren't you!" cursed Aditya, his face bright red with rage, as he bent over slightly, then slung Sarah's body over his shoulder.

"Mas!" Sarah squealed strongly, the woman was shocked when Aditya suddenly carried her forcefully. Her head was even dizzy as she was upside down like that, with her hair covering her face. "Get off me!" she ordered as her arms and legs rebelled, hitting his back and trying to kick him.

Aditya, who was annoyed and in a bit of pain, turned his body quickly, causing Sarah to squeal, as her head felt dizzy, and her rebellion came to a halt.

The man was happy. He then quickly swung his footsteps towards the door of his room which was one step ahead, then quickly attached the key card to the door handle, until the door opened.

Aditya then went inside with Sarah who was still trying to get rid of the dizziness in her head. The man then placed the key card on the slot to turn on the lights, until the room that was originally dark became brightly lit.

He immediately swung his steps towards the bed, then forcibly lowered Sarah until the woman's body bounced slightly on the mattress.

Before Sarah could get up, Aditya had already lunged at her to fall on her back.
