We looked at Mia. "It's good thing that you convinced this woman to come here, Sean," she said as she kissed me in the cheek and Sean.

Sean laughed. "Tsh! You know that's not forced. She came on purpose when she remembered that it was her best friend's birthday today." He looked at me and smiled.

"Bessyyyyyyyyyyyyy..." I suddenly looked at the screamer. "I thought you weren't coming." She hugged me like a child.

"Can I skip? It's your birthday today." I smiled and hugged her. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

"Why did you just greet me today? Why didn't you call this morning to greet me?" She was acting mad. Tsh! I really don't think this young mind has a boyfriend.

"Ah because, uhmm bec---" I didn't finished what I was going to say because Sean preceded me.

"Because she just woke up when I went to their house," he said and looked at Mia. He gave it a meaningful look. Mia nodded.

"I understand. It's a good thing my party hasn't started yet but I won't really pay attention to all of you later, you know that." She even slapped me lightly on the shoulder.

"What time will your party start and why aren't you ready yet?" I curiously asked her.

"Six pm."

"6 pm? Are you kidding me ?" I asked in shock.

"No, 6 pm really," she said almost whispering.

"What the frog? I hurriedly came here when I remembered it's your birthday today but I will just found out that it will start 6?" I couldn't help but raise my voice a bit.

"Why? What's the matter?" she innocently asked.

"What's the matter? You're asking me what's the matter? Well, it's just 10:30 in the morning and you're saying you thought I was late? Dude, even if I came here at 12 or 5 in the afternoon I wont be late. Because the party will start at 6!"

"I just don't it to be the same as my last birthday that you didn't come because you said 'I know I'm already late so I wont come'. I don't want you to be late because I know you won't come when you're late."

"Yeah, right." I nodded.

I gave up because she reminded me again on her last birthday that I didn't go because I knew the party would be over soon.

So why would I waste any more energy to go to the party when I knew when I arrived, it was already done? But then she ignored me so I was forced to promise that every birthday of her, I will always be present.

And I almost break my promise today. Thanks to Sean and Mia. They saved me.

"I'm sorry," she apologized.

"Tsh! Don't say sorry, it's my fault. Besides it's a good thing that I'm already here so we can bond before your party because I know you'll be busy later with your guests." I smiled at her.

"You're right. So, come." She offered me and sat on the couch first, next to her boyfriend Earl. I turned to Sean and Mia.

"Let's go?" I asked them. Sean just nodded while Mia was silent.

"Miang, let's go?" I repeated.

She nodded. "You go first, I'll just go to the cr," she said and turned away.

" Let's go?" Sean asked me this time.

"Hmm." I nodded and together we walked over to our friends.

"Ooohhhh, here comes the secret couple!" Shouted Daniel, Mia's lover who is also our best friend.

"Crazy!" Sean and I shouted at the same time.

"Why? You're really a secret couple. You don't even want to admit it." He was scratching so Sean kicked him.

"We're dudes. Don't be malicious." Sean sighed

"We're Dudes, were dudes. Nye, nye, nye. Why? Are the two of you are only dudes in here? Look at Jully-ann and Earl, they used to be friends also but it ended up like that and look at Mia and me , " he said proudly like Mia and him is a thing.

I would have complained about Mia but it looks like she just arrived from cr.

"Why, Daniel? What do we have?" She raised an eyebrow on him.

"A-ah because, uhm--"

" What is it?" Mia scolded Daniel.

Iwant to laugh at Daniel's look as Mia scolds. He looks like a restless worm.

"Now that's the time to tease him. Now, it's my cousin you're going to tease, dude," Sean said laughing so we all laughed too except Mia and Daniel.

Mia was about to approach Daniel as he started running like a child. Mia chased after him.

"Danieeeel,.come back here! "Mia shouted as she chased Daniel out of the house.

"No!" Daniel shouted back so she chased him out of the house. While Sean and I sat where they sit earlier while laughing.

"Are they really something?" I asked as I watched Mia and Daniel chase each other.

"Yes, we seem to be," Sean said smiling.

" There! Sean is already making a move! I point for hi! Shouted Earl.

All our friends laughed while I hit Sean on the arm lightly.

"That's why we're being teased, because of your flirtation." I made a face and pouted. Sometimes, I get really annoyed when he flirts with me.

"Stop pouting, you're seducing me to kiss you." Suddenly I sat down properly at what he said.

"2 points!" Bryce, who is also our best friend, shouted.

My cousin Winlab's lover who is unfortunately also our best friend. Shocking, right?

"You look even better when you're stunned," Sean said suddenly waking up my mind.

"3 points!" Jully-ann shouted.

"Stop it, Sean!" I irritatedly said.

"You stop."

"Why me? Am I the one that's teasing, huh?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"You stop making my heart beat so fast." He winked at me.

"Shock! 4 points!" Winlab shouted.

Are they crazy? Shocks! It is only Sean's joke. Don't take it seriously.

"Tse. I told you to stop, didn't I?" I shouted at him but he just smiled.

" What will I stop? Talking Or loving you?" he was serious as he said that but I knew he was just joking.

This is how we always joke but is he joking now or hitting on me? Aishh.

"I'm really excited. 5 points for Sean!" Jully-ann shouted.

"Why don't you stop. I'm pissed. I'll really throw you in your seat if you don't stop," I was threatening him but he just stared at me.
