Mama El appeared in front of Alera at the door as she returned to the pub. She waited for her to return from her time with the man.
“How are you, are you tired?” it asks her as its first query. Alera’s body was tired, and she didn’t want to answer her inquiry. She still wishes to sleep. Her body suffers, and she appears to have depleted all of her power as a result of the man’s tremendous wildness.
“Come, Alera, sit next to me,” she urged, and the girl sat.
El stroked the woman’s back, as if she understood her exhaustion.
“You know, Alera, you’ll get used to this life because we have to survive; it’s not easy what we do, so don’t underestimate yourself; once in my life, I became like you as well,” the girl remarked, looking at the woman.
“Why?” she asked, looking for an answer and sympathy. “Have you ever experienced the loss of a family? Have you ever experienced the oppression of the world? Have you ever experienced what I have experienced?”
“Perhaps what I went through was worse than what you went through,” she said.
Alera fell silent and waited for El’s lips to reopen.
“Alera, you are not the only one the world oppresses; that is why we are both here in this situation; we both have nothing to cling to but this, and it is because of the cruelty of the world.” “Alera, I have suffered almost all of the pain in this world. When I was a child, my mother abandoned me; after that, my father sold me to syndicates with a very small value, to beg on the street so that he could make money and have something to drink. I, too, live on the streets with nothing to eat. All of my alms are given to syndicates, and when I become sick, I recover on my own, even if I don’t take any medicine. Simply be patient. Simply fight for my very own life in order to live.
Alera, I was a street beggar. Not only that, but I was raped by syndicates back then. They raped me so badly that I couldn’t move and even passed out. Because the syndicates mistook me for dead, they dumped me into a ravine.
“I thought I was going to die then, but a miracle happened to me,” Mama El said as tears welled up in her eyes, ready to drip at any moment because of the pain of her feelings as she returned to her complex. Alera, on the other hand, is recklessly dripping her healthy tears from her eyes because she can feel the pain and resentment that she sees now in Mama El’s eyes.
“A lady saw me while I was dying, and even though she was poor, she nurtured and cared for me. Loved and nurtured, I felt in her the so-called real family. But the world is still cruel to me, and God immediately took back the person who gave me a loving home. Since then, I have been alone again, and I have returned to the streets as a beggar, like you, this job has been the hope of my life.
I simply assumed he liked and accepted me, and that he loved me for who I am.
The woman he adores, but that was just my assumption. I discovered I was pregnant one day and went to my boyfriend’s office to inform him that we were having a child.
But my joy was shortly overtaken by sadness when I witnessed the truth that the man I thought that loved was married to someone else. Worse, he kidnapped me and violently aborted Alera, my unborn child. So I understand how it feels to be bullied by the world.”I know that very well, Alera,” she wailed in front of the girl, her tears streaming down her cheeks as she hugged the woman hard to express her compassion.
“Enough, enough,” she shouted to the woman, her eyes welling up with tears.
“Cruelty, Alera. The world is full of cruelty! What was my sin in the world to make my existence like this?” She cried loudly “Even my little baby was taken from me who became my hope even though my child was probably in my womb! Why is the world cruel to me? To us? How many times have I wished I hadn’t lived, I wish I could die to end it! So it’s all over! Everything -all my suffering because of the pain I have in my life! Too much pain! The hardship, the hardship, the hardship to live if everything is just denied. The two tears on each other’s shoulders and themselves were their companions for the next three years. Alera and Mama El developed a close bond. Alera rose to prominence as the bar's most popular and best-selling woman. Alera is the most intelligent and gorgeous person to call. Alera became a full-fledged gamer. She had no lasting relationships because she was only interested in men for their bodies. When they’ve had enough of each other. They simply forget everything like a bubble. She is compensated by every man who wants her, and she provides excellent service to them. She’s many men’s second girlfriend and mistress. However, she is unconcerned because this is how her life is.
“Ahh, a lot of shopping stuff ah. I assume I know who bought that, the old billionaire right?” Mama El’s introduction to Alera, who had just returned home from a date with her long-term boyfriend. They’ve been together for a year.
“Uhuh, that’s it!” she exclaimed as she sank to sit on the sofa, trying to suit the size of her new high heels.
“Why, that elderly man seemed to be in love with you, ha?”
“I guess so; he even told me he was leaving his wife just for me. Crazy old man!” she chuckled.
On the other hand, the pair is fighting because her husband is constantly late and, once again, it takes two days for him to return home.
“Alfonso! Tell me, do you have a girl?” the woman who had been crying for her husband who had now opened the door questioned.
“Oh, Marimar! I’m tired,” he muttered to his partner as he walked up the stairs. Marimar accompanied her spouse everywhere he went.
“And you’re the one who wants to be upset at me!?” she exclaimed nearly aloud.
“It’s been so many days before you go home, and now you’re the one with the courage to be angry? Is that how your mother teaches you?!”
“What the Hell, Marimar!” irritated by the man’s rage, he stopped mounting the stairs and turned to face his wife, who was crying.
“You know? You’re such a drama queen! I’m exhausted, do you understand?” its roar was audible.
“You’re tired because of your woman! Alfonso, you’re old enough to flirt! Our son is a large man already! Are you not ashamed?” its intense wrath.
“I’m old, but I can still go to bed! Unlike you, you’re weak and have no taste! So don’t blame me if someone sets fire to my body because you can’t do that to me anymore! You’re as good as worthless now!” the emotionless guy adds.
When she heard such words from her husband’s mouth, the woman’s heart skipped a beat, and she slapped him across the cheek.
“You’re an animal! You’re an useless guy, Alfonso! You’re an animal! You’re an animal! You’re such a pig!” she cried. It hurts a wife to hear such a thing from her own husband. She believes there is no longer a place for the agony to take precedence over the weight of what she is experiencing.
