Meeting three friends is a blessing. Seeing the wounds they have slowly healing warms my heart. I am useful to them, and they are special to me.
Going through adolescence together with various wounds is certainly not a trivial matter. It's not as easy as forgetting a physics lesson in class. All of it leaves lasting impressions, forming pieces of an eternal puzzle.
With them, the difficult teenage years become a bit easier. Their wounds teach me that there is no perfection in the world I live in. The warm smiles they always show make me realize that there are many things hidden behind those smiling faces.
Everyone has secrets, including teenagers who are growing up. Secrets that even adults cannot understand. But, amazingly, they are hidden neatly behind wide smiles.
They are my lifelong friends.
