Aadya:

"If you don't have a boyfriend, with whom did you sleep?"

"Did anyone rape you?" Neel said with fiery eyes.

"No," I said.

"Ok. If it happened with your consent, I am not interested to know how and with whom it happened," Neel said.

"Aren't you angry with me?" I said.

"For what?"

"Knowing that I am not a virgin," I said.

"Come on, Aadya. Do you think I am a virgin?"

"No," I said and he laughed out loud at me.

"I am a virgin," He said, having an apple from the table.

I was dumbstruck at his answer. If it so, why did he pretend until now as if he is a s*x addict?

"I never touched any girl until now. And those bottles are not of wine. I don't drink either," Neel said and I was in shock.

Then, he sat on his chair crossing his legs. He gave a strict look at me.

Neel smiled again. He is handsome when he smiles.

"No. As I told you earlier, I would never force you. We can consummate our marriage only when we accept each other as life partner."

I nodded but he looked at me suspiciously.

"By any chance, do you want to have s*x with me now?" Neel said and I coughed immediately. Neel gave water to me.

"Chill, relax. There's nothing wrong if you feel that way for me. Because legally we are a couple and traditionally this is our first night," Neel said.

I didn't understand why does everyone scared of Neel. Why is he being so nice and gentle to me? I don't know but I am happy that with me he is not as rude as he is to everyone.

"What's your expectation about me being a good wife?"

"Talk less. Keep up my respect. Maintain everything at home well. Of course, only supervising is your responsibility because we have maids for everything. Even cooking is not your duty. We have a cook too. The wife of Neel should be high in standards. I don't know whether you are educated or not and of course, I don't care about it. Maintain our status in everything you do, that's it," Neel said.

"So, in a nutshell, I can say I am the queen of this empire built by you," I said.

"Very true," Neel said.

"Ok, I will be a good wife to you," I said, remembering my promise to his mom.

From now, the care free Aadya is dead. This is the day of the death of my dreams and goals. From his words, I understood that I shouldn't go out from this house and caged here forever.

"Aadya, one more thing I want to tell you. Never question about what I am doing. It's none of your business," Neel said.

"Ok," I said and then, he laid on the bed beside me.

"Do you want me to sing a lullaby for you?" Neel said.

"What are you waiting for? Sleep, it's already too late," Neel said and I slept.

In the morning, I went to a temple and returned home. I found everyone so worried and Neel angry. I didn't understand the reason. The maid came to me.

"Madam, where did you go? Neel bhaiya searched for you everywhere in the house and worried for you," the maid said and I looked at Neel. He signaled me to follow him and went upstairs. We went to the room and Neel looked the room. I was sweating with fear seeing him in anger.

"Where did you go?"

"Temple," I said, hoping that I won't be a victim to his anger on the very first day after my marriage.

"Did you inform anyone?" Neel asked.

I shook my head.

"Aadya, I have too many rivals. You are my wife and they may target you. So, you should be careful. See, whenever you want to go somewhere, inform me."
