When Scott opened the door, he was taken aback to see that she was still outside by herself sleeping on the bare concrete floor.
As a result, he made the decision to shake her awake, bring her inside, and instruct her to sleep on the couch.
Emily went inside his room and saw how decorated and neat it was as well as how his bookshelf was arranged around his room. Instead of Emily going to sleep, she decided to look at the bookshelf and was about to take one of his books to read when Scott stopped her and said, "If you don't want to sleep then you can go to your apartment." Emily did not go to sleep after seeing how decorated and neat his room was as well as how his bookshelf was arranged around his room.
After that, Emily expressed her regrets and went to the couch in an attempt to get some shut-eye, but she was unsuccessful. She kept an eye on Scott to see if he would fall asleep while he was reading so that she could steal his books and read them herself.

Scott was aware of what Emily wanted to do, so he decided to play along by acting as though he had fallen asleep, leading Emily to believe that he had actually dozed off. Emily crept to the bookshelf in a whisper and was just about to take a comic book when Scott opened his eyes and saw her.

She turned to Scott and pleaded that she want to read for some time (she said in a romantic tone), and Scott fell for it and accepted her request. When Emily was caught, she immediately apologised, and as she was about to go to the couch, she turned to Scott.

Both Scott and Emily were aware that they had to get some sleep because they had to be at work in four hours, so they competed to see who could read the most books and played around like lovebirds until the early hours of the morning.

They slept together like a couple, and Emily woke up first. She went to her apartment, got dressed, and was getting ready to leave when she saw Scott running downstairs.

Unfortunately for Scott, Emily had already figured out what he was planning to do, so she left him to struggle with the gate outside the compound on his own.
Before heading off to work, Scott spent the better part of half an hour attempting to open the gate.

The relationship between Scott and Emily was going very well.
Up until that fateful day, Emily had planned a surprise birthday party for Scott. It was his special day, and Emily had planned to present him with a cake illuminated by candlelight during the celebration.

When Scott first saw it, he immediately recalled the event that had taken place with his father; consequently, he became very angry and scattered the small happy party. Emily was perplexed and terrified, and she had no idea what she had done. She also mistakenly believed that Scott no longer required her assistance and help; as a result, she ran to her duty post and sobbed there.

As a result of what he had done, Scott himself experienced feelings of guilt and fear for causing Emily to cry once more.
Emily sobbed her eyes out and then went home, where she remained silent and didn't interact with anyone.
Emily penned her resignation letter the night before and delivered it to Scott the following morning. Emily said as she left the office while crying, "I'm sorry Scott for what I've caused you to be so angry like that but I have decided to do this because I've spent time in the company than required and I have to leave you and the company Bye Scott." Scott saw it and was confused by it. Then Scott got up from his seat, ran over to Emily, and gave her a bear hug from behind while he was crying. He said to her, "Emily, I am so sorry for what I did to you; it wasn't intentional, please understand," as he was hugging her. Because it was my birthday when the fire broke out many years ago, I suddenly recalled the tragedy that resulted in the death of my father.

As I looked at the birthday cake with the lit candles on it, I was overcome with emotion. Emily, I beg you to please comprehend this. Emily responded by saying, "Scott, I am so sorry too, but I have to go." As she pulled away from his hand and prepared to open the door, Scott dragged her back to himself and hugged her tightly one more time, saying, "Emily, I am truly sorry; please forgive me." Emily responded, "Okay, I have forgiven you, but I have to go. Please allow me to go, allow me to leave your life and your company so that I won't cause you any trouble. I have forgiven you." In response, Scott said, "Shhh... I beg you, Emily, please don't leave my life, and please don't leave this business for me to run by myself.

I won't be able to manage it without you by my side, and if you leave me, I'll leave you and this world as well. Please don't say such things to me, and please don't leave.
Emily's state of mind deteriorated the moment she heard these words.

Emily inquired, "What did you mean when you said that you'll leave me and this world?"

Emily was speechless and unable to process what had just occurred as she watched her stunning eyes fill with tears (Tears of love).

Then Scott said, "If you leave me and the company alone, I'm going to kill myself." [Case in point] Emily sobbed deeply, was speechless, and couldn't process what had just happened to her.
But in the end, she decided that she wanted to continue working for the company and living with Scott.

And the administrators and workers were overjoyed and ecstatic because they were all behind listening to the drama, and they cheered as Emily and Scott were 'Reunited'...
