The following morning, Scott and Emily got out of bed very early and got dressed as quickly as they could because Scott had discovered the previous night that the gate lock was broken, making it extremely difficult to lock or unlock the gate. Emily also strongly advised him not to make any attempts to alter it without first obtaining her permission.

Emily should have a difficult time opening the gate with the rusted key because Scott has already left the house through the basement. Emily was irate after she learned Scott's plan and how he had outwitted her. Although she was furious at Scott, she had no choice but to struggle with the Lock of the house before she went to work.

As soon as they arrived at the office, Scott greeted Emily and told her, "Emily, you are now my Secretary, and I'm now your office boss, so you will do anything I want you to do." Emily responded by saying that she would.

Therefore, I should not bother working today and should instead visit a market store in order to look for a pair of slippers or shoes that will not make any noise when I am jumping or dancing.

Emily was very upset, and Scott, being a perceptive individual, noticed her reaction and added, "Please do it quickly because it was my Landlady that made the rule so please hurry up before dawn." Emily was very upset.

Emily stormed out of the office in a huff and stormed off to the market. Once there, she searched and searched in various market stores looking for a pair of slippers that did not make a sound. However, by the end of the day, she discovered a pair of foamy big slippers and delivered them to Scott's flat.

Now that Scott is home, he noticed the slippers in front of his door, and he decided to put them on regardless of how large they were. He then went inside, took off his clothes, put on his headphones, and began jumping and dancing around the house.

*** DOWNSTAIRS ***

Emily was having a good time with her friends when one of her friends became distracted by the noise coming from the upstairs apartment. She turned to Emily and asked, "Hey girl, what kind of tenant makes noise so loudly?" Sara asked. Emily's response was, "Please let us ignore him, he usually acts like a madman, and let us continue with our conversation."

Emily and Scott lived in the compound as if they were cat and rat until one particular night when a young man dressed like a hooligan came to the compound, and Scott saw him as he came out of his room and fought with him until Emily came back from shopping and saw them fighting each other and stopped them. Emily then decided to get a hold of the hooligan and unveiled his hood, and she discovered that it was her younger cousin-brother that Scott fought with.

Before they started fighting with each other, Emily reprimanded her brother for acting like a thug and dressing like a hoodlum. She also reprimanded Scott for not determining who the other person was or what he wanted before they began to argue with each other. Although Scott was taken aback, he felt obligated to apologise because she was his landlord.

Emily found out that Scott had been injured just as Scott was about to enter his apartment. After tending to his cousin's wound and releasing him from her care, Emily ran up to Scott's doorstep and knocked on the door.

When Scott opened the door, he found Emily standing there staring at him while holding a first aid kit.
Scott enquired, "What exactly is it, ma'am?"
"I came to treat your wounds," Emily said in response.
Okay, ma'am, he responded because he felt obligated to give his assent in order to avoid getting screwed over by his Home boss.
Emily finished the treatment and bandaged his wounds in less than fifteen minutes, but she insisted on staying with him.
After that, Scott inquired, "Is there anything else, ma'am?"
"Please, it seems like there are some bad boys around the compound, and I'm afraid.
Please, can I stay with you for the night?" Emily had a question.
The response from Scott was "No, there is vacant space here ma'am."
After that, Emily said, "Please, if you do not permit me to enter, then I will sleep in front of your room outside."

After Emily exited the room, Scott said, "Emily, I bet you won't," and then he shut the door behind her.
After Emily had been sleeping in the open air for half an hour, Scott went to check on her to see if she was still out there in the bitter cold. When he opened the door, he was taken aback to see that she was still sitting outside on the floor sleeping by herself.
