Surprising and tense, that's the situation Theodor and Frisilia are experiencing. Frisilia was very surprised to see Theodor suddenly in front of her. She was silent, admiring how handsome Theodor looked; the suit fit him perfectly.
"Who are you?!" Ask Frisilia.
"Who are you? Why are you asking back? That is my room! What are you doing here?" Theodor stepped forward in front of Frisilia.
"I-I..." Before Frisilia could continue her words, Naura suddenly arrived and tried to fix the situation.
"Sorry, Bro, I let her in. Anyway, see you later." Naura pulled Frisilia's hand and hurriedly left Theodor's room.
Theodor looked annoyed. It's the first time a stranger has entered his room. Theodor dislikes anyone entering his room without permission, even if it's his own family. He immediately checked the bathroom. Many of his things have been moving, so, with a grumble of annoyance, he began to clean up.
Naura immediately apologized to Frisilia for causing the chaos. Frisilia looked embarrassed. After escorting Frisilia to the front gate, Naura rushed back. Naura knew that Theodor must be furious with her right now. So she hurried back to her room to avoid Theodor's anger.
"Where are you going? Come here!" Theodor said, catching Naura red-handed.
Naura reluctantly approached Theodor. She could only bow her head and put on a pleading expression. Theodor started to glare at her fiercely.
"Who is that woman?"
"Uh... She..."
"Who is She?!" Theodor asked firmly.
"She... She's my piano coach that I told you about before."
"Oh, we'll see what I'll do. You've caused trouble, so I'll cause trouble for you too."
"What? W- Wait a moment, what do you mean? Are you going to tell Dad about this?" Naura asked with a worried look.
"Bingo!"
A cunning smile appeared on Theodor's face. Naura began to beg for forgiveness.
"Come on, forgive me, bro. I promise I won't do this again."
"Didn't I say I hate it the most when strangers enter my room?!"
"Yes, I'm sorry. The toilet has broken, so I had no choice but to bring it to your room." Naura tried to explain.
Theodor just remained silent and then left Naura. Theodor wasn't as angry any more because Naura had tried to explain the problem.
Frisilia was on her way home. She was still thinking about the man she had just crossed paths with at Naura's house. Frisilia had admired Theodor for a moment, but just as quickly, she realized it wasn't the time to look for a partner. Their brief first meeting was quite memorable for Frisilia. Of the many men she had met, only Theodor seemed to catch her interest and curiosity.
Gibson had just arrived home, and Naura welcomed her father with a cheerful smile. Gibson also smiled warmly at his daughter. As usual, father and daughter seemed to be chatting about their daily lives. Shortly after, Anna arrived and greeted them. Gibson's expression immediately turned sour. Naura was adept at reading the situation, so she quickly asked her father to rest.
"Do you want some tea?"
"No need," Gibson replied curtly.
Anna seemed accustomed to the rough attitude displayed by her brother-in-law, so she wasn't too affected.
"Auntie, can I have a cup of tea too?" Naura asked.
"Of course," Anna smiled.
"Forgive Dad's attitude, Auntie. You know, deep down, Dad cares a lot about everything. So, you don't need to worry," Naura tried to mediate so everyone could make peace.
"It's okay. Auntie is used to it, and Auntie knows your father is a good person, but maybe he misunderstands us," Anna replied.
Naura understood what her aunt meant. She always tried to explain to her father so the family could reconcile forever. Shortly after, Theodor appeared to get a drink.
"Son, come here for a moment."
"In that case, I'll take my leave, Auntie."
"Okay, bye."
Anna invited her eldest son to talk. She was worried about her son working too much, and she had never seen Theodor relax. Anna was afraid Theodor might feel lonely and burdened.
"What's wrong, Mom? I'm in a hurry. There are still many documents I need to check."
"You work at the office, you work at home, even at family gatherings you always seem busy with work. Don't you want to date? Or maybe you don't..." Anna began to think that her son had deviant behavior. Theodor seemed to understand his mother's intention.
"I'm not like that, Mom. I don't want to split my focus right now. If I date, my time will automatically be shared, and my work might suffer," Theodor explained to his mother.
"Still, Mama wants to see you dating and bringing home a girl to introduce. Mama is sure Grandpa will like her too."
"Come on, Mom, don't expect too much from me. You can ask that of Jacob."
As usual, Theodor always passed the buck to Jacob, his younger brother. Jacob loved hanging out with his colleagues, whether at clubs or fancy restaurants. He also often went to karaoke bars. Jacob was very spoiled by his mother, so he always asked for things from her, knowing she would never refuse his requests.
Elden, on the other hand, paid close attention to Theodor because he believed Theodor would be his successor. Elden always thought Jacob could only have fun, so he didn't expect much from his youngest son.
"Jacob, you say? That kid, even if Mom doesn't ask, he'll date, and he's brought different girls every time," Anna explained.
"Shouldn't you be happy, Mom, because maybe you'll have grandchildren sooner than him?"
"Oh, you. What kind of brother are you?" His mother retorted irritably.
Theodor then left after teasing his mother. He returned to his workspace, which was located next to his bedroom.
Theodor began examining some documents he had brought from the office. With an upcoming audit, Theodor was working quite hard. He found some documents that seemed inconsistent with the data in the database. Almost all of these documents were approved by his uncle. That made Theodor feel like something was happening in the company that he and his father were unaware of.
After checking repeatedly, Theodor still had the same results. He suspected there might be falsification of financial data. That raised suspicions about the finance team being guided by his uncle, and he is Gibson.
"Could Uncle Gibson be doing... Ah, never mind. Maybe it's just my imagination," Theodor muttered, speculating. He was still trying to trust his uncle. He assumed that there were other people behind it.
