Ch. 12Try to approach

In Bonjour.

Frisilia finally finished teaching her students at Bonjour. She checked her phone and saw the message from the unknown number she received that morning. She thought hard to guess who could be the sender. Then, she suddenly remembered that she had exchanged phone numbers with Theodor last night.

"Ah, that's right. Maybe this is from Theodor," Frisilia mumbled to herself.

Curious and wanting to confirm, Frisilia dared to call the number. Unfortunately, there was no answer. Frisilia thought that if it was Theodor's number, it was understandable that there was no answer because Theodor might be busy and couldn't pick up her call. It was only 3 PM, and it wasn't time for office workers to leave now. Frisilia then went to have lunch and stopped trying to contact Theodor.

On the other hand, Theodor seemed busy attending a meeting at his office. He checked his phone when the meeting ended. After being in his room, Theodor immediately took out his phone from his jacket pocket. He was delighted to find a missed call from Frisilia. He thought Frisilia ignored him, but she didn't. Theodor became nervous and embarrassed. He didn't know whether to call her back or send a message.

Theodor then called his secretary, Maya. Maya had been married for a year. Theodor intended to ask for advice from someone more experienced because he didn't trust his instincts. Theodor felt embarrassed to discuss personal matters with Maya because he had never done it before. Theodor kept beating around the bush, confusing Maya. But after listening to Theodor's overly verbose conversation, Maya realized that Theodor was asking for advice on romance.

"I understand, sir. You're in love, would be that men should be more decisive and not beat around the bush," Maya advised Theodor.
"Is that so? So, should I send her a message or call her?" Theodor asked.
"Call her and ask her to meet. Maybe invite her to a romantic dinner," Maya replied firmly.

Theodor fell silent. He felt that Maya's words were Right. Theodor had always been decisive in making any decisions in his life. And this time, he should be decisive. Theodor began to feel confident that he was in love with Frisilia.

When Theodor tried to contact Frisilia again, he couldn't because it seemed Frisilia was calling someone else. Theodor looked a bit disappointed. But he would try again another time.

Frisilia was in a restaurant not far from her school. She was getting a call from Jason. It was quite a coincidence that Jason called her at that moment. They started discussing their parents' issues and ended up with Jason inviting Frisilia to dinner with him. Frisilia had to teach Naura that night, so she rejected him. She asked Jason to invite her another time.

After her call with Jason ended, she saw a missed call from the same number as that morning. She immediately called back, but unfortunately, there was no answer again because Theodor was on his way home. His phone was on silent mode, so he didn't know there was an incoming call. Frisilia looked disappointed.

Naura was already prepared and was waiting for her teacher to arrive. She crossed paths with Theodor, whose face, as usual, looked sour, making Naura hesitant to approach him.

"What's wrong with him again this time? He always looks so sour," Naura muttered. Shortly after, while Naura was studying her music book, Frisilia arrived and greeted her. Theodor, who had just finished showering, heard the sound of piano keys. It signaled that Frisilia had arrived. Theodor hurriedly went out.

Theodor started seeking attention. He paced back and forth around Naura and Frisilia. At first, he went to get water, but since he couldn't respond, he tried again by pretending to grab snacks. Still, Frisilia ignored him. Naura, feeling disturbed by Theodor's presence, finally asked Theodor to stop walking around in front of her and Frisilia.

"Naura!" Theodor suddenly exclaimed. "Why did you stop? Sh-Shouldn't you still be practicing?"
"What? I'll do whatever I want. Besides, why should I follow your orders? I'm the one practicing. Why should you decide?" Naura retorted.

Before Theodor could finish his sentence, Naura asked Frisilia to accompany her to her room to chat for some time.

Theodor immediately went to his room and took out his phone. He wanted to send Frisilia a message as Maya had taught him earlier. Theodor typed and deleted the content of his message repeatedly. He hadn't found the right words to invite Frisilia to dinner.

Meanwhile, Frisilia was still confused about why Naura had asked her to her room. Frisilia then asked Naura. Naura just replied that she was teasing her brother. She knew her brother wanted to talk to Frisilia, so she thought he would be annoyed if she took Frisilia away. Frisilia just laughed because she found Naura's behavior adorable.

"Don't you feel like my brother has been seeking your attention since earlier?" Naura asked.
"Mm, no. Because when I'm teaching. I always focused on one thing," Frisilia replied.

Naura kept probing into Frisilia's feelings. She wanted to know what Frisilia thought about her cousin. Frisilia didn't think too specifically about Theodor because she had yet to communicate intensively with him. Frisilia then told Naura that Theodor had contacted her that morning. Naura was immediately surprised. Her brother always acted like a two-door refrigerator towards every woman he met. But not towards Frisilia.

Naura then reassured Frisilia that Theodor had feelings for her. Frisilia looked shy. And she didn't want to be too confident in what Naura said because she wasn't sure about her feelings towards Theodor.

Frisilia's phone vibrated. She received a message. When she checked it, she immediately showed it to Naura. Naura smiled and asked Frisilia not to reply immediately. Naura still wanted to tease Theodor. Meanwhile, Theodor looked nervous for a reply from Frisilia.

"Has she gone home? Why hasn't she replied to my message yet?" Theodor expressed his anxiety.

Frisilia didn't want to flirt with Theodor anymore, as Naura desired. She told Naura that she would soon reply to Theodor's message. Naura just laughed and joined in teasing Frisilia as well. At that moment, Theodor only asked Frisilia if she was still with Naura, to which Frisilia replied in her message, "Still." Theodor didn't answer further and went straight to Naura's room.
