"I love the style!" exclaimed Melinda as she watched Stella working on a customer's hair from her seat.

"I feel the same way. You did a great job," the customer complimented.

"What do you expect from the best barber in town," Stella boasted.

"Right after me," Ryan chimed in, his attention on a newspaper.

D.D barbing salon had two female barbers, Stella and Melinda, and three male barbers, Ryan, Marvin and James. Though Ryan was their boss, they were all around the same age.

After some time, the customer's hairdo was finished, and he admired himself in the mirror with a smile.

"Thank you! Here's your payment," the customer said, leaving a tip. "Keep the change," he added, winking at Stella before leaving.

"Goodbye!" Stella waved.

Melinda's phone rang, and she quickly hurried over to check the message.
