Ch. 6Cleon's villain

At first, Lucia thought Cleon had come to find her. However, she learns that Cleon came to look for the man, who turns out to be Cleon's father.

Cleon was also surprised when he met Lucia there. One day, when the man left, Cleon decided to make Lucia, who had been missing for a year, leave this world for good.

To cover the incident where Beata trapped Lucia, he poisoned Lucia and ordered his men to throw the dying Lucia into a forest far from the resort. They threw Lucia down a chasm no one had ever visited.

Just before she was reborn, as Lucia lay in an old house and began to lose her life, she had a strange dream. She dreams that the world she lives in is a novel created by someone. Beata and Cleon are the main characters of that world. On the other hand, she was just a character who had to die tragically, which was created to spark their relationship.

Although her dream did not cover the entire novel, she knew, in general, its contents, he did not come for her because he was preparing to announce that Cleon wasn't his real son.

He had also gathered enough evidence to prove Lucia's innocence. However, he was killed by Cleon's grandfather before he could do anything.

Cleon learned that he was not his son after the man's death. However, he still inherited all of the man's property. After inheriting the Franklin family business, he lives happily with Beata.

Lucia was curious to know if the dream was true. After all, the only thing that was clear in the dream was about the man. Maybe because she loved the man too much, she had been hallucinating about everything. However, still, no matter the truth, she had to be sure. In this life, she will take revenge and pay off her debts.

She came to Finland. A place that many people visit in winter to ski.

The man named Dominic Franklin, whom Lucia knew from her dream was going to go hiking. He would suddenly have a headache and pass out while driving, causing him to fall into a ravine.

The chasm wasn't too steep, and by luck, Dominic survived. However, his legs became disfigured, and half of his face was disfigured.

Lucia felt that regardless of personal feelings from her previous life or dreams, Dominic was very extraordinary. A person with that kind of power should not end up pitifully. Lucia always felt that it was a tragic fate that shouldn't have happened.

She felt that the purpose of Dominic's creation was to build a business empire so he could pass it on to Cleon. Once Cleon deserves it, Dominic's existence becomes useless, and he must die. Dominic knew Cleon was not his natural son, but he never broke their relationship. Cleon inherited everything from Dominic.

Lucia rented a villa near the mountain and waited in the car every day by the side of the road before returning to her residence in the afternoon. She was terrified of losing her chance to save Dominic. Although she didn't dream precisely when the accident happened, she could guess it was when Dominic was driving his car. Lucia also clearly remembers the type of car he was driving and the license plate number.

Holding a small cup and thermos, Lucia sipped warm water and watched every passing car. When she saw the vehicle precisely as she had dreamed, she immediately put down her cup and started the car. As she drove closer to the car, her hands began to tremble nervously at seeing the same number plate as the one she remembered.

Lucia honked loudly to try to make it stop. However, Dominic did not stop, and the car started to speed up. Lucia knew Dominic must be suffering from a headache by now and was semi-conscious so that he might have pressed the accelerator instead of the brakes wrong.

Lucia was nervous and anxious, making her palms sweat. If he can't change Dominic's fate, what's the point of her being reborn? After all, even if she had to risk her own life, she had to change Dominic's fate.

Lucia drove beside Dominic's car and tried to wake him up by gently crashing his vehicle. However, even after she hit the car several times, the car didn't slow down. Looking at the bend ahead, the vehicle will fall into a ravine if the car does not stop. So Lucia could only hit Dominic's car while turning the wheel hard. Lucia's car stopped Dominic's car, and they both hit the road divider beside them.

Lucia was barely conscious as she felt blood running down the right side of her forehead.

Lucia's car hit the mountain wall. First, Dominic's car hit half the wall, and the other half hit Lucia's car.

When Lucia's car hit the mountain wall, the woman's forehead hit the glass rigid, and her body slumped down. Despite feeling dizzy and sick, Lucia finally managed to stop Dominic's car.

Previously, Dominic had a bad headache, and everything went black. He tried hard to open his eyes, but everything was still pitch black. It felt like something was hitting him, but he thought maybe it was just an illusion due to the pain. After he felt the car hit hard, his disappeared consciousness slowly returned. After that, he thought that his vision had become more apparent.

Dominic quickly got out of the car once he understood the situation clearly. He rushed to Lucia's car and opened the door. Dominic saw Lucia in the car, her eyes closed, and her forehead was bleeding. Dominic was shocked and immediately took out his cell phone to call someone. Then, he bent down to check on Lucia's condition.

Lucia opened her eyes and looked into Dominic's face before falling unconscious. The look in those eyes made Dominic's heart flutter, and he did not understand why it was like that.

To make sure Lucia didn't freeze in the cold, Dominic temporarily closed the car door and turned to look at the bend ahead. If the car had not been stopped, he would have fallen into that ravine and might be dead by now. The woman in the car saved his life.

Dominic clenched his fists tightly. Even a cold man like himself would be frightened that he was on the verge of death.

Dominic's villa was pretty close, so bodyguards arrived soon. Dominic carefully carried Lucia out of the car and told the driver to get to the hospital as quickly as possible.

Dominic hugged Lucia's body, and after the bodyguard gave him the medicine box, he treated the wound on Lucia's forehead.

Seeing Lucia's closed eyes, Dominic was distraught and annoyed. This girl had saved his life, but she almost died because of it.

Most of the time, Dominic was accompanied by a bodyguard. However, when it comes to skiing, he wants to enjoy solitude. So, he often goes without a bodyguard.

Today, he suddenly wanted to go up the mountain to ski, so he left without a bodyguard. Although his headaches were frequent, he had never felt so sick that he lost consciousness like before. The risk of danger this time was high. He and the girl in his arms could have died earlier.

When he arrived at the hospital, he immediately arranged for Lucia to be examined. He also did a brain check because he felt something was slightly off. He wanted to know whether or not the headache was getting worse. If this happened repeatedly, he would have to carry bodyguards.

Lucia felt as uncomfortable as if she had been drunk, with a headache and a queasy stomach. She opened her eyes and blinked a few times before things became clear.

"How are you feeling? Are you okay?" Dominic watched Lucia closely, waiting for her to wake up fully.
