Mr. and Mrs. Martin were watching Tv when the news of the accident was shown on the TV, they became scared and worried, and at the same time, their phones rang. Mr. and Mrs. Martin both answered the call which was from the hospital and they were both told that their male child was involved in an accident, the female is presently unconscious, and both of them had been admitted to their hospital.
Mr and Mrs Martin were both terrified to hear that and the phone fell from Mrs. Martin’s hand without her hanging up.
Mr. Martin quickly looked for his car key, went to his car, get in, and drove off at speed with Mrs. Martin beside him without picking up her phone, to the hospital.
On getting to the hospital parking lot, Mr. Martin parked the car and they made their way to the reception. Mr. and Mrs. Martin identified themselves upon getting to the reception to the receptionist then the receptionist told them to wait for the doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Martin (terrified and anxious) waited for 2 hours before the doctor show up and call them to his office.
The doctor said to Mr. and Mrs. Martin ″Good day Mr.. and Mrs. Martin″, as they sit down on the chairs.
″I don’t think greeting is necessary all we need to know is where is our children″ Mrs. Martin (fidgeting) gave the doctor a harsh reply.
″You have to calm down Mrs. Martin″ said the doctor to Mrs. Martin.
″Am sorry, I can’t. I need to see my children now and know how they are doing″ said Mrs. Martin (still fidgeting).
″You will have to calm down if you want me to talk″ said the doctor to Mrs. Martin.
″Calm down dear, let the doctor talk″ said Mr. Martin to his wife, and Mrs. Martin calmed herself so the doctor can talk.
″Mr. and Mrs. Martin, according to the report we got from a witness. It was only your son that got into an accident, not your daughter, and your daughter was the cause of the accident. Your daughter was busy with her phone forgetting she was on the road, so your son had to run to save her and got himself hit by the car that was being pursued by the police instead of her.
Your son was brought here wounded, bleeding internally, and unconscious, but your daughter suffer no injury and she is unconscious. We have done our best and keep your son in stable mode but he is still unconscious and I assure you he will be. What baffled me is that there is nothing wrong with your daughter, she is perfectly okay but still unconscious which is weird. I as a doctor have never encountered such a thing in my line of work and I have no idea what going on or wrong with your daughter making her not to be conscious″ said the doctor to Mr. and Mrs. Martin.
Hearing all that the doctor said, Mr. and Mrs. Martin understood what was wrong with their daughter then Mr. Martin asked the doctor ″what you are trying to get to us is that Adetutu is supposed to be conscious because there is nothing wrong with her and Adewale is okay right but just unconscious″.
″Yes″ said the doctor.
″Thank you, doctor. All we need for you to do for us now is to just continue taking care of them″ said Mr. Martin to the doctor.
″What about your daughter? There is nothing wrong with her and she is unconscious″ the doctor asked Mr. and Mrs. Martin.
″You heard my husband, just keep taking care of them and send us the fee″ said Mrs. Martin to the doctor, and stood up, also Mr. Martin.
″Are you going to check up on them?″ the doctor asked Mr. and Mrs. Martin, as they stood up.
″No. We were going to wake them up″ said Mr. Martin to the doctor, then left the doctor’s office with his wife leaving the doctor confused with their last statement.
NIGHT
Mr. and Mrs. Martin went home to talk about what to do. As they both sat down on their bed in their room, Mrs. Martin (worried) asked her husband ″what do we do now because am scared″.
″Don’t be. Am sure she is only unconscious because Adewale is. All we need to do is wait for Adewale to wake up and she will also″ said Mr. Martin, pretending not to be worried and stop his wife from continuing to worry.
″I don’t think we should wait. What if he doesn’t wake up? We need to do something″ said Mrs. Martin worried.
″Don’t say that. Adewale will wake up so will our daughter″ said Mr. Martin.
″Don’t you think we should call uncle James″ said Mrs. Martin.
″And tell him what? That Adewale had an accident and Adetutu is unconscious because of Adewale. No. We have to handle this situation ourselves″ said Mr. Martin.
Just then Mr. Martin’s phone rang, he checked his phone to see who it was calling and saw it was uncle James calling, so he picked up the call. Mr. Martin said over the phone to uncle James ″hello, uncle James″.
″Evening, Mr. Martin″ said uncle James over the phone to Mr. Martin.
″Hope everything is okay?″ asked Mr. Martin.
″I wish it was. I just received a call from my brother requesting to see you and your wife″ said uncle James.
Mr. Martin was surprised to hear that and asked ″You mean your shaman brother wants to see me and my wife?″.
″Yes, and he said it is very urgent″ said uncle James.
″Hope nothing is wrong?″ asked Mr. Martin.
″He didn’t give me full detail than he wants to see you concerning your children and that he should be in his house″ said uncle James.
″Okay. Let’s meet tomorrow at our home so you can take us to his place tomorrow″ said Mr. Martin.
″Okay. Goodnight″ said uncle James and hung up.
Mr. Martin told his wife about what uncle James said and they both agreed to go.
That night Mrs. Martin had a lot of terrible dreams that Adewale and Adetutu died. She woke up screaming several times and Mr. Martin told her not to worry that It was just a mere dream and that nothing will happen to their children.
THE NEXT DAY
Uncle James came to the Martins’ home and together they began their journey to the shaman’s home.
As they journey in the car Mr. Martin said to uncle James ″there is something you should know, uncle James″.
″What’s that?″ asked uncle James.
″Adewale had an accident yesterday, and he is presently unconscious making Adetutu unconscious also″ said Mr. Martin.
Uncle James was shocked and scared to hear that. Uncle James (worried) said″Why didn’t you tell me this before and that he arrived yesterday″.
″Because we didn’t want to bother you and I think there is nothing to worry about but now I think it is best you know″ said Mr. Martin.
“Hope the accident isn’t much?″ asked uncle James.
″Yes. Adewale is safe according to the doctor″ said Mrs. Martin.
″That is good to hear″ said Uncle James, relieved to hear that.
Uncle James, Mr. and Mrs. Martin got to the shaman’s home which is where the shaman’s office is also located. They were taken to the shaman’s office by uncle James and were told to be sited by the shaman as they entered. The shaman said to Mr. and Mrs. Martin ″Good day Mr. and Mrs. Martin or should I call you Daniel and Martha″?
Mr. and Mrs. Martin were both shocked to hear their real names called by the shaman. Mrs. Martin (surprised) asked the shaman ″how did you know our names?″.
″That’s part of my gift that was given by God to me″ said the shaman to Mrs. Martin.
″We were told that you wanted to see. So why are we here?″ Mr. Martin asked the shaman.
″You are here because of your adopted son and your real daughter that are in the hospital″ said the shaman.
″I am no longer surprised by how you were able to know that, it shows you are indeed a shaman. But what is it about those two?″ asked Mr. Martin.
″When James first told me to look into your children. I was only able to know little about them but now he came to me himself and told me things I needed to know about them″ said the shaman.
Mrs. and Mr. Martin with Uncle James were confused by what the shaman said. Mrs. Martin asked the shaman ″and who is that?″.
″Leo″ said the shaman.
″Who is Leo?″ uncle James asked the shaman.
″Mr. and Mrs. Martin, those children are not yours. Though you might have given birth to one of them but both of them are gods, not mortal″ said the shaman.
Mr. Martin, Mrs. Martin, and Uncle James were confused by the shaman's words. Mr. Martin asked the shaman ″wait, if am to understand you. You are telling us our children are gods″.
″Yes and their real names are Leo and Deo. The male is Leo and the female is Deo″ said the shaman.
Mr. Martin, Mrs. Martin, and Uncle James found what the shaman said confusing and hard to believe. Mrs. Martin said (in disbelief) to the shaman ″so the Leo that came to you is Adewale. How is any of these possible or true?″.
″What we are dealing with here is not natural, Mrs. Martin, it is supernatural. Both of your children are gods and lovers. You know what seems unbelievable is that you are not their first human parents and you won’t be the last. You know what that means, it means they have lived a different lifetime and this one is just another lifetime for them″ said the shaman.
Mr. Martin, Mrs. Martin, and Uncle James find what the shaman just said astounding and seriously hard to believe. Mr. Martin said to the shaman ″this is shocking, confusing, and hard to believe. But..... I will like to know whatever it is Adewale or Leo told you. I want to know about them″.
″They were created by God using the two most powerful elements which are water and fire. God used water and fire power to create a heart and split it into two. After God created the heart, He also created two immortal human bodies and bestowed the heart on them. God was happy with his creation and name them Leo and Deo.
Leo and his body weren’t strong enough to handle the power of his heart. Leo wanted to be in control of the power but couldn’t then the water and fire power began to kill him slowly. To survive, Leo submitted to his power and let it take control over him then he started misbehaving.
Leo started by challenging the Angels to a fight, which he won. God noticed his behavior but didn’t do anything not until he challenged God himself to a fight. God decided to destroy Leo but Deo plead with God not to and God didn’t instead, God took their immortal bodies from them and banished both Leo and Deo to earth. Without Leo’s and Deo’s immortal body on earth, they could grow old and die but that didn’t stop Leo from becoming worse. Leo decided to pick on humans to get back at God for banishing him and Deo from heaven.
After they grow old and died on earth Leo and Deo thought that was the end because once humans die that was the end for humans but they forget they aren’t human and they were different. Leo and Deo were reborn because their heart couldn’t die. Since then, it’s either they reincarnated or were reborn again after death, and that is how they have been existing on earth for only God knows since when″ said the shaman.
Mr. Martin, Mrs. Martin, and Uncle James find what the shaman just said astounding and confusing again. Uncle James asked his brother ″according to what you said, Leo was the one that sinned. But why banished Deo with him?″.
″You should have gotten it by now. Wherever Leo goes, Deo goes. They are bonded together because they shared one heart″ said the shaman.
″If Leo wants us to know all these, they must be a reason″ said Mr. Martin to the shaman.
″It seems you are the only smartest one here, Mr. Martin. Yes, there is a reason. And the reason is that they are both not waking up from the hospital and will die” said the shaman.
Mr. Martin, Mrs. Martin, and Uncle James were scared and anxious to hear that. Mrs. Martin (scared) said to the shaman ″no, no. That can’t be true, you must be joking right″?
″Am not″ said the shaman.
″Why will they die? They must be a reason he wants us to know they will die″ Mr. Martin asked the shaman.
″The accident triggered a place only known to them which is called Memory land″ said the shaman.
″Memory land? What does that mean?″ asked uncle James.
″It’s a place created by both of them. The place houses all their memories of each lifetime. The memory land also helps them to know about a lifetime they don’t get to meet each other. Going there will show them how one lived his/her life without the other″ said the shaman.
″So they are in the memory land now?″ asked Mr. Martin.
″Yes, and he wants you to save them because the longer they stay in there they will be able to know about who they are. And if they do, they will die in this lifetime″ said the shaman.
Mr. Martin, Mrs. Martin, and Uncle James became anxious upon hearing that. Mrs. Martin eagerly asked the shaman ″we will save them just tell us what to do″.
″It’s not that simple, Mrs. Martin. To save them you will have to go to the memory land which is a place only Leo and Deo can be, and if you go there they will be consequences″ said the shaman.
″What’s the consequence, shaman?″ asked Mr. Martin.
″You will both have a short life. Which means you will both will have an early death. Going there is like being in the past, present, and future at the same time″ said the shaman.
Hearing that Mr. and Mrs. Martin with uncle James becomes shocked and they looked at each other.
