"WOW!"
Venus was amazed to see the mansion before her; she had no idea that the person she was about to teach was a conglomerate. The gate was fifteen feet high, and Venus couldn't even see the edge of the roof tiles. Security guards armed with firearms stood before the gate, and Venus's heart suddenly became heavy.
Venus glanced disapprovingly at her best friend, who was driving. "Why is the security so tight? Rena, don't tell me you're taking me to the President's house."
Rena showed her ID to the guards, and after they confirmed her identity, the new guards cleared the way for them. Rena took off her sunglasses and gave Venus her best smile. "You'll find out soon enough."
Venus scowled in annoyance. "Just tell me now," she urged.
"What you should be thinking about right now is making a lot of money, Venus. Don't back out before you've tried."
Venus let out a long sigh as she sat back in resignation. She looked at the long road filled with bamboo trees, slowly turning into a large fountain garden. Behind it was a large mansion like a palace.
She had no choice; Rena's offer was the best Venus could do now. Venus needed a lot of money, and Rena gave her a job that was promising enough to earn a lot of money; Venus soon accepted her fate.
"It feels like stepping into a fairy tale." Venus stared in amazement.
Venus thought accepting this job offer was all right.
"Right, it's very nice, isn't it? Isn't this the kind of house you dreamed of?" Rena was happy if Venus liked the style of the mansion, which meant that one of her tasks was successful.
"This is indeed my dream house. But still, everything is just a dream. It's unlikely that I'll ever have it," Venus said.
A few months ago, Rena asked what kind of house Venus wanted and dreamed of. Since Venus had been living in a small, cheap house on the city's outskirts, she had been living there alone.
When her body was still red, Venus had been abandoned by her parents in front of an orphanage. However, Venus didn't feel sad; she still had her orphanage mother and the children she had grown up with, whom Venus considered family.
When she was 18, Venus left the orphanage and lived alone. Venus thought she could survive outside, but reality was nothing like the outside. Venus desperately needed to earn money to support herself and help with the orphanage's finances.
Fortunately, Rena helps Venus out by giving her a job teaching elementary school children. With all the perfect grades Venus has received since she was young, it's easy to teach a child. Also, Rena's pay is very high, so Venus agrees without thinking.
Rena and Venus exited the car and were greeted by a formally dressed middle-aged man with close-cropped hair. "Miss Rena, is this the tutor for Little Master?" the man asked.
"Yes, Uncle Christ. Her name is Venus." Rena averted her eyes. "Venus introduce, this is Uncle Christ, he is the person in charge of the manor, in the future he will be the one to help you," Rena explained.
Venus felt a little strange after Rena's explanation. Why would Uncle Christ help her? Maybe the child Venus was going to teach was very naughty, so Venus had to ask others to help her learn.
"Welcome to the manor, Miss Venus." Uncle Christ bowed in greeting.
"Thank you, Uncle Christ. Please help me in the future. Venus replied.
Uncle Christ left to show Rena and Venus the way.
Venus knew the mansion was huge; all those assumptions were on display from the moment she passed through the massive fence of the mansion. But everything Venus saw was beyond her imagination. All the fantasies Venus had imagined about her dream home were happening in the mansion. Some of the designs, the layout, and even the lights overhead. It was very much like what Venus wanted.
"Why does it feel like this house was made for me?" Venus wondered.
They walked for ten minutes to reach the living room. The mansion had a long hallway, and they still had to walk through the beautiful garden between the front and main buildings. It took a long time to reach the heart of the house.
Although it was far, it was not tiring, as the scenery was a feast for the eyes. Although Venus had such thoughts, her legs did not support her thoughts at all.
"If there was a bicycle, it would be better. My leg feels like it's going to break." Venus complained, whispering in Rena's ear.
"You want a bike, then I'll talk to Uncle Christ later," Rena replied casually.
Venus was expressing her complaint; why should Rena take it so seriously? After all, who is she? Venus is just a private teacher; does she have to behave like that? Where every complaint is heard. Besides, this was Venus' first visit to the mansion, so why should they pay attention to what Venus said?
Venus waved her hand. "No need, why do you take it so seriously? Don't say anything to Uncle Christ, I came here to work. Don't tarnish my image, like I'm a person with a lot of willpower," Venus protested.
Rena looked at Venus, amused. "Not to mention a bicycle; even if you ask Mr. Luca for a Ferrari, he will give it to you without thinking," Rena muttered to herself.
"Little master, your tutor is here." Uncle Christ called to a boy playing video games on his cell phone.
The boy looked handsome, with a hint of an oriental face. His nose was high, and he had thick black hair. His face was also perfected with dimples on both sides, making the puffy cheeks look even sweeter.
"Is this the child I will teach?" Venus asked Rena next to her.
"Yes." Rena replied briefly.
"Oh, Rena and Mom are here."
"Who do you call Mom?"
