Aria's Pov
I saw Lyrien's eyes, but they weren't welcoming. They were filled with rage and anger, a burning intensity that made my heart skip a beat. I tried to speak, to ask him what he was doing, but before I could even form the words, I heard the sound of a gun firing.
I felt a searing pain as the bullet penetrated my chest, and I fell to the floor, my vision blurring. As I looked up, I saw the smile of an old woman, the same woman from my dreams. But this time, her smile was not benevolent. It was a mockery, a twisted grin that filled me with horror.
"Didn't I tell you, child?" the woman's voice echoed in my mind. "Didn't I tell you that no one would ever truly accept you? You're a witch, Aria. And witches are always alone."
I tried to speak, to defend myself, but my voice was barely a whisper. The woman's laughter grew louder, a cackling sound that filled my ears and made my blood run cold.
As the darkness consumed me, I saw Lyrien leaving, his back turned to me without a glance. The woman's voice grew louder, her laughter echoing in my mind until everything went black.
I suddenly awoke and that was then i knew it was a dream, I found myself back in the Seven Tower Gate, chained once more. I tried to move, but the chains held me fast. That's when I saw Lyrien, lying unconscious on the floor, surrounded by wolfsbane. The poisonous plants seemed to be draining the life out of him, their aura weakening him further with each passing moment.
"Lyrien!" I called out, my voice hoarse from shouting. "Lyrien, wake up!"
But he didn't stir. I called out his name again and again, but he remained still, his body limp and lifeless. The wolfsbane seemed to be suffocating him, its dark energy spreading through his veins like a deadly poison.
I pulled at the chains, desperate to reach him, but they wouldn't budge. I was trapped, forced to watch as Lyrien slipped further away.
"Lyrien, please!" I screamed, my voice echoing off the cold stone walls. "Don't leave me!"
But he didn't respond. The wolfsbane had him in its grasp, and I was powerless to stop it.
I felt helpless, trapped and unable to save Lyrien from the deadly wolfsbane. But then, I heard the creaking of the gate, and Alpha Edgard walked in. I begged for mercy, pleading with him to save Lyrien.
"Please, Lord Edgard, don't kill him! I'm sorry for breaking out of the Seven Tower Gate. I was wrong to disobey. Just please, have mercy!"
But Lord Edgard stood still, his eyes fixed on me with a mixture of disappointment and sadness. Finally, he spoke, his voice firm but laced with a hint of regret.
"Aria, you have caused much of what is happening now. If only you had waited for the full moon, the bad energy within you would have been sucked away by the mighty power of the Seven Tower Gate. But you ruined it all. Now, people have come to know about me, about us...and I fear I may not be able to save you now. You may be killed."
His words struck me like a blow, and I felt a chill run down my spine. I knew I had made a grave mistake, but I had never intended for things to go this far.
"Please, Lord Edgard," I begged again, tears streaming down my face. "Don't let them kill Lyrien. I'll do anything. Just save Lyrien, and I'll never disobey again."
But Lord Edgard's expression remained grim,Just as Lord Edgard was about to respond, one of the security guards rushed in with urgency. He ran towards us, his feet pounding the stone floor, and knelt at the front of Lord Edgard.
"Alpha Edgard, sir!" he exclaimed, out of breath. "Alpha Erin from the Nightshade Pack is here with other members of the family. They're demanding that Elder Edgard come outside with...with the demon Aria."
The guard's eyes flicked to me, and I saw a mix of fear and disgust in his gaze.
Lord Edgard's expression changed, and he looked at me with a worried gaze. He turned to the guard and asked, "Did they come with any forces?"
The guard nodded, "Yes, sir. Many packs from the Table are surrounding the area. They're demanding that you hand over Aria."
Lord Edgard's face fell, and he looked concerned. He glanced at me, then back at the guard. Without a word, he moved swiftly to the Seven Tower Gate and raised his hands. A brilliant light burst forth, and the air seemed to vibrate with magical energy.
The gate began to glow with a soft blue light, and intricate runes appeared on its surface. Lord Edgard chanted in a low voice, and the runes pulsed with power. The gate shuddered, and a massive iron lock materialized, sealing it shut.
"It's done," Lord Edgard said, turning to the guard. "Let's go."
He nodded to the guard, and they both turned to leave.
I was helpless, tied to the stone floor by the unyielding chains. But I refused to give up. With a surge of determination, I began to crawl towards Lyrien's side, the chains scraping against the stone as I moved.
It was a laborious process, the magical restraints biting into my skin as I struggled to reach Lyrien. But I beat the odds, inching closer to him with every agonizing movement.
Finally, I reached his side and called out his name, "Lyrien! Lyrien, wake up!"
I tried to remove the wolfsbane, but it was sucking my energy, draining my strength. I gritted my teeth, fighting through the pain as I pulled the poisonous plants away from Lyrien's body.
My vision blurred, and my muscles screamed in protest, but I refused to give up. I kept calling out Lyrien's name, hoping he would respond.
"Lyrien, please! Wake up! I'm here!"
But he didn't stir. I removed the last of the wolfsbane, my body trembling with exhaustion. I collapsed beside Lyrien, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Lyrien...please..."
