Katherine stared blankly at the food served in front of her. Eleana looked at her and cleared her throat, planning to wake Katherine from her reverie. This morning Katherine was already at Viscount Thomas's mansion because of Eleana's request to accompany her all day. Eleana already knew everything clearly from Rowena about yesterday's events, along with her arranged marriage with the Duke of Edinburgh and a fact she had just heard that the Duke was Darrellyn Orva's lover.

Eleana was happy and sad at the same time. She was happy because it turned out that Thomas' love was no longer reciprocated because Darrellyn had a boyfriend, but Eleana was sad because the man Darrellyn was dating was a Duke, and he was almost perfect. Eleana is desperate to support her sister so she can marry the Duke of Edinburgh and defeat Darrellyn Orva no matter what. Revenge is revenge and must be resolved; moreover, Darrellyn must be between Eleana and Katherine; that is unforgivable, and Katherine must succeed like Eleana by marrying the woman's lover.

"You didn't eat; did something happen?" Eleana pretended not to know anything about yesterday's incident.

"You didn't ask mom? You always want to know things about me though,” Katherine finally shoveled a piece of bacon into her mouth.

"I did that because I care about you so much." Eleana pouted; she was used to Katherine's cold treatment, but she just wanted to play with her half-sister to cheer her up—before launching her action to incite Katherine to seduce the Duke of Edinburgh.

"Tsk, quickly continue eating; your baby is still hungry in there." Eleana returned to her food and ate some of the remaining bacon. The dining room looked so quiet with only Eleana and Katherine; yesterday was much quieter because Eleana often ate alone and spent the day lonely.

Even though there were many maids, Eleana with her few maids spaced out so it was impossible to draw them all to eat at her large dining table, and watching them eat so greedily was sickening for Eleana. "How about your matchmaking?" asked Eleana in between meals; this time their focus was on their respective plates and no longer daydreaming.

“I thought you must know a lot about that.” Katherine narrowed her eyes.

“I know you will be betrothed to the Duke of Edinburgh, but not with the story after. So tell me everything because I really want to know that,” said Eleana seriously; this time she reached for a napkin to wipe her mouth. The meal was over, and seeing that Eleana had stopped eating, Katherine also stopped feeding her mouth because she actually had no appetite to eat.

"He doesn't like me; that's the essence of it all." Katherine's words sounded so sad; how could Eleana not be able to hear and feel Katherine's mood, whereas from the age of nine they have been together and done many things even though their mindsets are very different, but Katherine is a child behind her words, which are often origin and hurt Eleana, but Eleana does not understand Katherine's meaning because the woman just wants herself to be aware—it's just that Eleana is reluctant to realize and still believes in this path just like her mother, which is blackmailing men and doing everything to be happy.

"He can't help but love you. Katherine Aldora is the second most beautiful woman in the eyes of the world after me."

“Tch. You even beat the Greek goddesses?” Katherine chuckled. Eleana was not the number one most beautiful in the world but the number one most narcissistic in the world.

"Yes, of course," said Eleana proudly. After finishing food, Eleana and Katherine went to the park for a walk. Katherine just followed her sister, while Eleana tried to buy time to be more relaxed to persuade Katherine to continue her feelings for the Duke of Edinburgh. Whatever happens, even if it has to be seduction to make the duke fall in love, Eleana will change Katherine like that—a reliable charmer. Thus, while diving to drink water, Katherine will raise the status of the Aldora family again, and Eleana will see Darrellyn Orva once again abandoned by the person she loves.

"Katherine, so what are you going to do next?" she asked.

"What? breathe and eat, to survive, of course.”

“Damn it, stop joking around.” Eleana was annoyed; Katherine was always like that when asked about her personal problems.

"Your question is not clear where; I'm confused to answer it. If you ask me what my plans are for tomorrow, I will breathe and eat to survive."

"I mean your match with the duke."

"I have decided that I will no longer accept this match," said Katherine; she couldn't possibly do something she hated.

"How stupid my sister is."

"I knew you would want to persuade me, right?" Katherine laughed; she had guessed everything. This morning, before coming to Eleana's mansion, Katherine had argued with Rowena because the woman had asked Katherine to reconsider her arranged marriage.

And now Katherine knew why Eleana had asked her to stay at the mansion this morning; it must have been Rowena's request to persuade her. Eleana sighed, “You know life is hard, Katherine? You have to pounce if you don't want to be pounced on; you have to kill if you don't want to be killed."

"Stop Eleana; I don't want to seize another man. I just want that man to come to me first without me having to do anything to him; if that's not possible, then I will withdraw from this match," said Katherine absolutely.

“Do you think life is like a fairy tale? Like a romance story in a novel? that suddenly you are lucky to get a rich man and love you to death. No, Katherine, there is a price to be paid; there is a sacrifice to be made. Only one in a thousand women is lucky to get the perfect man; the rest have to try to find and hook the man."

"So what's your request?"

“I want you to seduce him; think that you love that man and you need that man in your life. Then such sacrifices will be of use, comparable to the future that will be obtained by you. Trust me, what I say is for your own good in the future.” Katherine looked pensive; she actually wanted the Duke of Edinburgh more than she thought because something like this even shook her principles of life.

She hates women who steal other women's men because her mother suffered from a third person to death. How could Katherine do something like that anyway? The thing she hated the most now made her shake. Katherine was pushed by her own circumstances and feelings.

“Let's put aside the matter that this man is the lover of Darrellyn Orva, my nemesis, even though I could actually use this as a bullet to shoot her. Let's put that aside; regardless of that, I want my sister to live with the best man."

"Eleana, you said earlier that you didn't know anything about my arranged marriage, but you even knew the Duke of Edinburgh had a girlfriend, and her lover was Darrellyn Orva." Eleana immediately covered her mouth when Katherine said that; she forgot that earlier she pretended not to know anything about Katherine's arranged marriage.

"Yes, actually, I know from mother."

"Yeah, you already know. After all, it's impossible for you not to know anything about me.” Eleana grinned; she always wanted to know about her sister. It was because Eleana cared and really wanted Katherine to be on the same side as her and with the same mindset and perspective.

“I'll think about it; I can't do anything for now. I'm afraid the Duke of Edinburgh will cancel it before I can do anything about it." In the end, the power of love cannot be resisted; no matter how hard you don't want to do it, the urge to have a man is bigger than she thought.

"Okay, I'm glad to hear that. We will wait to see what happens after this; if the Dowager Duchess Rossella contacts her mother again with the good news, then you will have to do a lot of things to make her fall in love with you.”
