"What do you say?" asked Alfredo, urging Gilbert to agree to his proposal.
"No Uncle, I don't like noise and commotion. I prefer it this way, quiet and still," Gilbert replied reasonably.
"But...," Alfredo's words trailed off as he was cut off by Gilbert's words.
"Uncle don't worry, I'm fine. I have Jonathan helping me clean everything up and cooking food for me," said Gilbert.
"I have something to say Uncle," said Gilbert.
"Just say it," said Alfredo.
"I want facial surgery and therapy, I want to see the outside world. I'm tired of sitting around doing nothing. I also want to be part of Papa's company that Om is managing," Gilbert's words were like a bullet through Alfredo's heart.
Alfredo was so shocked to hear Gilbert's wish, his heart was racing rapidly, his lips were trembling and his face was pale. Gilbert glanced at Alfredo and smiled with satisfaction.
"When's the time?" asked Alfredo after he had composed himself.
"Tonight," Gilbert replied, casually answering his question.
"Tonight?!" said Alfredo in surprise.
Gilbert didn't answer he just nodded his head, Alfredo understood Gilbert's answer, the corner of his eye glanced at the assistant named Abraham.
Abraham who understood the code from his master said goodbye.
"Excuse me, sir, I'm going out," Abraham said, then he walked out of the room.
"Uncle will prepare all your needs and transfer the money for your surgery and bone treatment," Alfredo said.
He reached into his coat pocket and took out his cell phone, he typed in the amount and clicked and the five billion was sent to Gilbert's account. Jonathan checked it and then nodded his head towards Gilbert.
"If it's not enough just tell me, Uncle will add it," Alfredo said as he put his cell phone back in his coat pocket.
Then Alfredo said goodbye, he left Gilbert's room and descended the stairs one by one, looking around the room. He smiled slyly.
Gilbert stood looking outside, his gaze full. He saw Alfredo's motorcade leaving his house. Jonathan went inside and saw Gilbert looking out through the glass window of his room.
"Sir," Jonathan greeted him.
"I've told you repeatedly not to call me Sir when we're alone," Gilbert admonished Jonathan.
"But...," Jonathan said.
"Don't make excuses! What's wrong?" said Gilbert with his eyes fixed on the outside, his hands stuffed into his pants pockets.
"Everything is ready sir, sorry I mean Gilbert," Jonathan said nervously.
Jonathan knew Gilbert, he knew his character. Jonathan had worked with Gilbert for a long time.
"Pack all the things I need, we're leaving tonight," Gilbert told Jonathan.
"Everything is ready, we're just waiting for the time," Jonathan replied.
"Good!" said Gilbert with a sharp look in his eyes, making anyone who saw him shudder in horror.
As night fell, Gilbert prepared to board his flight to Korea for facial surgery and therapy.
He went to the airport escorted by Jonathan, traveling by Alfredo's private jet. The plane flew high into the sky.
Meanwhile, at the three-story mansion, Alfredo is anxious, pacing back and forth in his study. Beside him was Abraham, his personal assistant.
"Has he left yet?" asked Alfredo.
"Half an hour ago," Abraham replied.
Alfredo smiled with satisfaction as he sat down in his cushioned chair. He stroked the chair as he muttered under his breath, "I won't let anyone take over my hard-earned business empire."
The two of them talked about the tender proposal until late into the night, the clock chiming to show its power.
Alfredo glanced at the clock on his wrist, two hours had passed and the news he was waiting for had not come, there was anxiety in his heart.
"You go home, we'll continue tomorrow morning at the office," Alfredo said, asking Abraham to go home.
Abraham stood up from his seat, bowed slightly and said goodbye.
"If you'll excuse me, sir," Abraham said.
"Yes," Alfredo replied.
Abraham left Alfredo's office, he walked out and headed for the front door, when he arrived in the living room suddenly his hand was tugged. He looked back, it turned out that the one who pulled his hand was Sisca, Alfredo's wife.
Without saying much Sisca immediately hugged him and she kissed Abraham passionately on the lips. Abraham kissed her back fiercely.
"I miss you baby," Sisca said in a spoiled tone.
"Me too," Abraham replied while stroking Sisca's smooth cheek.
"Meet me tomorrow at the usual place," Sisca asked Abraham.
"Okay!" Abraham replied briefly.
Then Abraham tried to let go of Sisca's embrace, he left Sisca in the room alone.
Sisca sighed, she squeezed her breasts and sighed softly. She then went back to her room waiting for her husband to come in to join her. But it had been an hour since Alfredo arrived.
Sisca sighed in annoyance, Alfredo had been ignoring her for a long time. As a normal woman she also needs affection from men.
That's why Sisca looked for him outside, she waited for Alfredo for a long time but he never came. Sisca sighed.
"Must be sleeping in his study again," muttered Sisca.
Tired of waiting, Sisca finally closed her eyes.
Meanwhile, in Alfredo's study, he was receiving a phone call, his face showing an incomparable look of happiness and satisfaction, his smile continued to adorn his face.
"Sir, Gilbert died in a plane crash," said the person on the other end of the line, giving news of Gilbert's death.
"The plane exploded in area X, and Mr. Gilbert's body was blown to pieces," the caller continued.
"Make sure it's Gilbert's body, do a DNA test. Bring it here even if only one hair remains," Alfredo ordered.
"Yes, sir," came the caller's terse reply.
"Take care of everything, including that stupid Jonathan." Alfredo ordered.
The call ended, and Alfredo laughed with satisfaction. "I'll finally get a good night's sleep starting tonight," Alfredo muttered, followed by a burst of laughter that echoed throughout his office.
Alfredo came out of his office, a smile on his lips. He walked up the stairs one by one, his steps so light. The burden that had been there all this time was finally released.
