Ch. 16Bab 16

La Rossa entered the building so casually, she went straight into the headquarters past some of Comrade's men who were on guard. La Rossa who was about to enter the headquarters was prevented by Komrad's men.

"What do you want?!" snapped Komrad's man who had a tattoo on his right arm.

"I want to see Komrad, tell him La Rossa is looking for him!" ordered La Rossa with a cold, murderous aura.

The subordinate coded to his friend, "wait here!"

La Rossa waited obediently, she watched her surroundings through the corner of her eye, although she had often been in and out of the Vangsed headquarters but this time the situation was different.

One of Comrade's men ran to report when he noticed that La Rossa had arrived, as if her presence was something they were looking forward to. It wasn't long before he returned and told La Rossa to come in.

Many pairs of eyes were watching her, all of them alert. La Rossa went inside, she found Komrad sitting back in his oversized chair. His left hand held a glass filled with alcohol.

"Welcome Ros," Komrad greeted her in his Baritone voice.

La Rossa didn't answer, she just gave a sardonic smile.

"You have guts too! I was waiting for your arrival," said Komrad.

La Rossa still did not answer, she stared intently straight ahead. Her gaze was so sharp and cold that it could freeze anyone who looked at her.

"Now give me a piece of your life that is no longer valuable in the eyes of the Vangsed," Komrad sarcastically returned La Rossa's gaze.

Their gazes locked, neither willing to budge. Everyone in the room prepared by standing guard and setting up stances. Each person carried a sharp weapon, Miller among them.

Miller was one of the Vangsed members, when he entered he was still relatively young, you could say underage. He was close to La Rossa, Miller already considered her as his own sister.

"I will not surrender Comrade, my arrival will actually pick up your life which is no more valuable than a piece of paper!" said La Rossa with a loud voice that echoed throughout the room.

"Ha... ha... ha...," Komrad laughed just as boisterously.

"You have a lot of guts, little boy," Komrad teased.

La Rossa puckered the corners of her lips, she looked so calm. The corner of her eye swept the room, she began to calculate every possibility. Komrad's men were on guard, La Rossa estimated that there were more than 20 of them, each carrying a sharp weapon.

La Rossa was relieved to see that, as long as there were no firearms, she could still handle it even though she had prepared for it.

"What kind of fight do you want?" challenged La Rossa without further ado. She revealed her arrival.

"Good! I like your spirit, young man. We're going to fight on the line, whoever makes it out of this room alive is the winner. How about it, do you agree?" Komrad explained.

"Ok! I agree, we are one by one, regarding the rules of weapons used, please set them as long as there are no firearms, I agree," La Rossa replied with a voice full of confidence.

"Okay! One by one, you can use any weapon you want," Komrad agreed to La Rossa's proposal.

"You listen to me, no one should come forward during this fight, whoever wins is your new leader and will take over as Vangsed leader. But it looks like the position will still be mine, ha ... ha ... ha ...," Komrad's confidence was high, he laughed boisterously to accompany his words.

La Rossa prepared by setting up a stance. So did Komrad. The fight between the two heroes began.

La Rossa took out the Bagh Nakh weapon that resembled tiger claws in both hands, she knew Komrad was a very cunning person, so she also added another hidden weapon in the form of a blade in her palm.

Meanwhile, Komrad wielded the Katakana weapon. This weapon was a long sword curved at the tip and only sharp on one side. The Katakana's curved blade and sheath allowed the user to draw the sword quickly and smoothly.

All the weapons they used were weapons for close combat. Komrad though a Russian but seemed adept at using the Katakana, La Rossa moved forward swinging her weapon at Komrad.

Their fight was witnessed by Komrad's men, they made a circle and were always on guard. La Rossa attacked Komrad by using agile footsteps, her movements were completely invisible. BUGH! Komrad was knocked down by La Rossa's kick, without stopping La Rossa continued to attack Komrad. She again advanced on Komrad by aiming her Bagh Nakh.

SRETT! La Rossa's arm was scratched by Komrad's Katakana as she was about to dodge Komrad's brutal attack. The battle between the two was evenly matched, even now Komrad was beginning to be overwhelmed by La Rossa whose every move was difficult for Komrad to predict.

Komrad was pushed back, his stomach pierced by the blade La Rossa had hidden in her palm, fresh blood gushing from the slashed stomach. Now they had no form, their faces were bruised and La Rossa's black shirt was wet, smelling of the blood oozing from her wound.

Komrad, who felt pressured, made a code gesture that was read by his men, then without command they rushed forward around La Rossa. They all prepared to attack La Rossa.

Miller along with five others came forward to create a line of defense for La Rossa.

"Sister," Miller greeted while looking back at where La Rossa stood.

La Rossa didn't answer she just nodded her head, they attacked La Rossa and Miller's group simultaneously.

La Rossa's breath was still coming in gasps when she had to fight again, she looked back at Komrad with a hateful gaze.
