"How could Jhon? He must make up for every drop of blood that flowed from my parents and he must also pay for my sorrow," La Rossa said coldly. Her eyes were sharp with burning vengeance.
Jhon had seen La Rossa cry many times, her soul was fragile. She was not as strong as they made her out to be, La Rossa had suffered since she was a child.
It was Jhon who found the crying La Rossa in the corner of a dumpster near the hotel where she was staying.
He took her with him to Singapore, and it was Jhon who galvanized and trained her to what she is today.
It was Jhon who introduced La Rossa to the dark world she now lives in, he also made La Rossa a professional hitman. But now he regrets his actions, rice has become porridge, what happened cannot be repeated.
Jhonny can only hope that someday La Rossa can find her happiness with someone who loves her and loves her sincerely.
Jhon wiped away La Rossa's tears with one hand, then he grasped her hand tightly.
"I shouldn't have involved you in the black world, I'm really sorry Ros," Jhon whispered.
His old eyes radiated regret, Jhon was no longer young. La Rossa clasped Jhon's hand back.
"I'm fine Jhon. Don't ever regret what happened, let's live and face everything together, ok!" La Rossa smiled at Jhon.
"That smile should stay with you, you look so beautiful when you smile, Ros," Jhon said.
La Rossa rolled her eyes lazily in response to Jhon's words. Her stiff face stared straight at the road they were walking on.
"See your face looks stiff and frozen," continued Jhon.
"Never mind Jhon!" replied La Rossa.
"Take me to my best friend's house," continued La Rossa.
"Where?" asked Jhon.
"I'll show you the way," said La Rossa.
"Okay." Jhon replied.
There was no more conversation between the two of them. Their meeting at the red light had been arranged by La Rossa when she contacted him some time ago.
They entered a housing complex, La Rossa pointed to a beautiful and shady house.
Jhon's car parked right in front of the gate, they both got out and La Rossa knocked on the front door. Aisyah, La Rossa's childhood friend, stood at the door with an angry look on her face.
"Where have you been Ros? Going without saying goodbye, coming without being invited is like a jailangkung," Aisyah scolded with her waist ruffled.
"I'm sorry, I have some business to attend to. Don't get angry again, you're ugly when you're angry," La Rossa said as she put her arm around her best friend's shoulder and led her into the house. Jhon followed behind her.
La Rossa brought Aisyah to sit on the sofa, Jhon also landed his butt right next to La Rossa.
"While I was gone was there anything strange or awkward?" La Rossa asked.
"What do you mean?" Aisyah didn't understand what La Rossa was saying.
"Nothing!" replied La Rossa.
La Rossa thought that meant nothing had happened as she had feared. Jhon smiled at the interaction between the two.
"Aisyah!" called La Rossa as her friend was about to rise from her seat.
"Hm," Aisyah replied briefly.
"You'd better pack up now, we're moving," La Rossa said.
"Moving?" wondered Aisyah. No rain no wind, suddenly La Rossa invited her to move.
"Hu um." La Rossa replied briefly.
"But why?" Aisyah asked once again. She found La Rossa's actions very strange.
"Don't ask too many questions! Just do it!" La Rossa coldly ordered Aisyah.
Instantly a cold aura enveloped the entire room, Aisyah who had never seen her best friend like that shrank, she lowered her head not daring to look at La Rossa.
Jhon who was sitting beside her reached out and grasped La Rossa's hand tightly. La Rossa, who received a touch of affection from Jhon, weakened again.
"Just do what she tells you, it's all for your own good. Rossa has her own reasons that she can't reveal," explained Jhon.
Aisyah didn't dare argue this time, she stood up and went to pack.
"Jhon help her pack, I entrust her to you," La Rossa pleaded.
"Where are you going?" asked Jhon.
"A little business, don't worry everything will be fine. Trust me!" La Rossa assured Jhon.
La Rossa's gaze was so soft and calm, she hugged Jhon for a moment and then let him go. La Rossa got up from her seat and left leaving Jhon who continued to stare at La Rossa's back which was getting farther and farther away.
La Rossa leaves Aisyah's residence, not wanting to involve the people she loves.
Meanwhile, Jonathan was on the phone with his boss, Gilbert.
"What's going on?" asked Gilbert as soon as the line was connected.
"La Rossa disappeared," Jonathan said.
"What do you mean by missing!" shouted Gilbert, impatient to hear the rest of Jonathan's story.
"La Rossa disappeared when I was about to drop her off at the place we had reserved for her. She asked to get off at a red light, by the time I was about to follow her she had disappeared," Jonathan explained.
"Fool! So what about the offer?" asked Gilbert.
"La Rossa refused, she asked for 10%," Jonathan replied.
"Give it to her!" ordered Gilbert.
"I can't decide without your consent," Jonathan replied.
"So?"
"We haven't gotten an agreement yet,"
"If he asks for everything, I'll give it. I would even give my life for her," Gilbert said, sadness in every word.
"I don't want to lose her again, Jo." Gilbert said.
"But all is not yet clear, sir," Gilbert replied.
"It's not clear to you, but it is clear to me!" snapped Gilbert.
If Jonathan had been in front of him, he would have swallowed his emotions whole.
"Now look for Rossa until you find her, then come back and give her the best offer. I want her to join the company and be close to me," Gilbert ordered.
"Okay!" said Jonathan.
The phone line was disconnected. Jonathan called Samuel.
