Meanwhile Siren was getting ready, she had made her resignation letter, and now she was going to deliver it to the HR room. Siren walked down the hallway of the office that she had just walked into a month ago.
Siren arrived in front of the HRD room, she knocked on the door and from inside came a voice ordering her to enter.
"Come in!" pleaded the HR person.
As soon as Siren emerged from behind the door, the HRD Manager immediately asked, "What's wrong?"
"Excuse me sir, I'm sorry to disturb your time. I want to submit my resignation letter." Siren said while handing over her resignation letter in a white envelope.
The HRD Manager received the envelope and then took out a signal to read it, then he put the letter on the table. He looked at Siren suspiciously, when the situation was chaotic like this she actually resigned.
"What's wrong?" asked the HR Manager.
"I can't join and work in this company anymore sir, I'm just a secretary but my duties have gone beyond the limit. Even now I'm being asked to be a spy, that's not really my field sir," Siren argued with a pitiful look on her face.
The manager seemed to be thinking, this was a difficult decision for him. Because the company is currently on the verge of collapse, anyone is suspicious.
"I beg you sir, please allow me to leave, after all it will not affect the company with or without me," Siren said while pleading.
The manager looked confused, a minute later he granted Siren's request. He accepted Siren's resignation.
"Well, please leave this company, hopefully one day you will get a better job than this," said the Manager.
"Thank you sir, if you'll excuse me," Siren said and left the room.
Siren packed up and left her room, she went out and left the office building using an online taxi.
Then Siren got off at a village alley, she deliberately got off there so that no one would suspect her. Siren walked into the narrow alley and a second later she disappeared.
Siren walked down the narrow alleyway for a moment then disappeared, she went sneaking away with her skills. She was now in a van.
Siren reached into her bag and handed a disk to the person beside her.
"This is the company's data," Siren said as she handed the disk over.
"Good! Your performance is outstanding, it's fitting that my lord trusts you so much and relies on you so much," said the man.
Siren did not respond to the words of the man beside her, she was now busy opening all the attributes on her.
Siren took off her wig, then the contact lenses in her eyes. Now the honey brown eyes were clearly visible, then she tore the skin of her face and exposed La Rossa's face. she removed her false teeth and removed the lipstick on her lips.
La Rossa wiped her face with a tissue, then looked to the side. There was Jonathan, Gilbert's assistant.
"Give me the rest of the payment," La Rossa demanded firmly.
"Tell me what you want?" asked Jonathan.
"As agreed," La Rossa said firmly.
"Fine! But first there is an offer for you from Mr. Gilbert," said Jonathan.
"What is it?" asked La Rossa briefly.
La Rossa didn't like to beat around the bush, she hated small talk that she thought was unnecessary and a waste of time.
"Join us, in Mr. Gilbert's company," Jonathan pleaded.
"What's the best offer you can make me," La Rossa insisted.
"Obviously a job...,"
"Get to the point!" interrupted La Rossa coldly.
Jonathan who saw the look in La Rossa's eyes so sharp it could almost pierce his heart shuddered in horror, what an ability beyond reason. A young girl had the ability to kill with just her gaze.
"Mr. Gilbert asked you to join, he will give you a 5% share and other perks," Jonathan explained.
"10%," La Rossa offered.
"There is no bargaining, if you can't do it, forget it," La Rossa added.
Jonathan looked confused, he was only given orders to give La Rossa an offer of 5%, he did not expect La Rossa to ask for more.
"I can't decide, Mr. Gilbert will inform you directly," Jonathan said.
La Rossa did not respond, she was now busy changing her clothes, she took off her white shirt and replaced it with a loose black T-shirt top, then she put on her jeans and then straightened her short hair.
Now La Rossa looked more relaxed but still a cold aura always surrounded her. Jonathan who saw La Rossa changing his clothes turned his face away, he didn't dare to look at La Rossa. Neither did the driver who was at the wheel.
After La Rossa finished changing, Jonathan looked back at La Rossa.
"Vangsed's group is looking for you, and he has now spread out his men," Jonathan explained.
"I already know," said La Rossa.
"Mr. Gilbert has prepared a new identity for you, he doesn't want you to get hurt again," Jonathan explained.
"Again?" asked La Rossa in an astonished tone.
Jonathan just nodded his head.
"So it's true that the masked man is Gilbert? Then where is he now?" La Rossa asked enthusiastically.
"That's right! Mr. Gilbert is the masked man," Jonathan replied.
"How can that be?" gasped La Rossa.
La Rossa looked at Jonathan sharply and curiously, demanding an explanation from him with her eyes that pierced every inch of his body. Jonathan shuddered in horror, his heart shrinking like a waterlogged cracker.
In all his time with the cold Gilbert, he had never felt as terrified as he did right now.
"Tell me!" snapped La Rossa impatiently.
"Mr. Gilbert made a prosthetic eyeball that can change at will and is programmed exactly like the other eye," Jonathan explained.
La Rossa did not say anything, she was silent for a long time, the atmosphere was silent as if she was in a grave, so tense.
La Rossa closed her eyes, in her heart she muttered, 'Gilbert, is that you?'
