Ch. 11Bab 11

Abraham was stunned to see the uncharacteristically sharp look in Siren's eyes, Abraham couldn't believe his eyesight. He turned his face away in horror as he stared at Siren's piercing eyes like a gaze ready to pounce on his enemy and shower him with thousands of arrows ready to pierce all over his body.

Imagining it all Abraham shuddered, he never thought that Siren would be able to display such a terrifying look in her eyes.

But as soon as Abraham looked back into Siren's eyes, the piercing look had disappeared. Now Siren's eyes showed a look that was soothing and calm as usual. Abraham was astonished by the rapid change.

"Did I see it wrong?" thought Abraham.

"But how could I. I saw it so clearly. So clear, in fact, that the change happened in a matter of seconds. What kind of ability does he have?" Abraham thought again.

"Never mind, maybe it's just me," Abraham consoled himself by saying that he was wrong.

"Siren keep an eye on the stock movements," Abraham requested.

"Yes sir!" said Siren.

"Oh yes ..., also keep an eye on the directors and staff if there is anything suspicious, report it immediately," Abraham ordered.

"Yes, sir!" Siren replied without argument.

Abraham then left Siren in the room alone, following Alfredo who had already been taken to the hospital. Abraham also called his wife Sisca.

"Hello ma'am!" Abraham greeted

"Hello dear, it's still too early for us to meet. Apparently you can't wait to have a date with me," Sisca coaxed.

Abraham rolled his eyes lazily when he heard Sisca's seduction.

"Excuse me ma'am, I wanted to let you know that Mr. Alfredo was taken to the hospital because he had a heart attack," Abraham didn't respond to Sisca's advances, he immediately said that Alfredo had a heart attack.

"WHAT!" shouted Sisca.

Sisca's scream made Abraham move the phone away from his ear.

"How come?" asked Sisca in surprise.

"I'll tell you later ma'am," said Abraham. Then Abraham said goodbye and hung up the phone.

Meanwhile, in a quiet room Siren was contacting someone.

"My job is done!" Siren said coldly.

"Give me the rest of the pay," Siren pleaded.

"I'll pay you, but do something for me," the man pleaded.

"I don't accept side jobs, my main task has been completed according to the agreement stated in the contract letter. Don't buy me time!" said Siren in a very cold tone.

"Okay! I want to contract you again. I'll pay you whatever it takes!" said the man.

"Fine! Give me a new contract letter and finalize the payment for this job!" Siren agreed to the man's offer.

"I'll send it now,"

"What should I do?"

"Steal the company's data and mess up the system,"

"Okay!"

Then Siren hung up the phone without saying goodbye. A cold stare emanated from her pitch-black eyes as dark as night. she quirked the corners of her lips slyly.

Then Siren opened her laptop and checked her incoming e-mails. She received a new contract letter with a huge reward, 100 billion to damage the system and steal company data.

Siren seemed to smile with satisfaction, she thought with a vengeful look in her eyes, "I will start everything now, whoever you are, be prepared! The god of death will come to you soon."

"Looks like people like you don't deserve the God of death, it's better if the one who comes to pick up your life is the Devil of death," muttered Siren.

Then he started working by breaking into the company's data system, with a serious face he started fiddling with his laptop and not long after he smiled.

Siren put the disk in her bag and went back to work. Siren completed the task of making monthly reports on the performance of the directors and staff. Every month their performance would be reviewed by the company and there would be bonuses for those who performed well.

As Siren focused on typing, her cell phone rang and she reached into her bag. Siren saw Abraham's contact displayed there, so she scrolled up.

"Hello!" greeted Siren.

"What's going on ha! Why is the company's stock price dropping so drastically? I asked you to keep an eye on the stock movements and report to me every minute if not every second." snapped Abraham angrily at Siren.

Siren smiled slyly, but a moment later he changed his expression to a sad one, he changed his tone to a very pathetic one.

"I'm sorry sir, I can't do all the work simultaneously, I only have two hands, my eyes and ears are the same. If you continue to demand me to work hard like this, it's better for me to resign and quit, I'm sorry," Siren whispered in a very pitiful tone as if she was really being oppressed.

"What do you mean by that, huh?!" fumed Abraham.

As he was about to speak again a call from another line came in, he picked up the phone. And it turned out to be from the IT division informing him that the company's system had been broken into. And now the company's data had been stolen and the system was completely down.

Abraham was increasingly panicked, he never thought that in just one day the company would be destroyed, he really couldn't believe it.

On the other channel Siren waited for Abraham very calmly, she had prepared everything.

"Hello, are you still there?" Abraham asked.

"Yes sir," Siren replied.

"Do you know if the company's system has been breached?" asked Abraham.

"No sir," Siren replied with a cruel look in his eyes and a sly smile.

"You find out what happened? I can only rely on you!" pleaded Abraham but still in a powerful tone without any pleading.

"Sorry sir, I can't do that. I'm just a secretary, not a detective, let alone an IT expert. Earlier you asked me to keep an eye on the movement of the shares and the board of directors and now you're asking me to find out what happened with the system breach at the company, I'm a secretary sir, not a stock handler let alone a handler of the board of directors. And now being told to spy on people in the IT division, I'm sorry sir, I resign." Siren explained in a very pathetic tone.

"Who told you to quit huh!" shouted Abraham from the other side.

"No one told me to sir, this is based on my own initiative. I thank you very much for accepting me to join the company, Good afternoon." Siren said goodbye.

Then Siren disconnected the phone, which made Abraham furious. He adjusted his hair with his fingers, then he threw a fist into the air.
