The first night in the new house, Viana was sitting in a wheelchair near the dining table. She was bored and unable to move freely, so she looked at Ellie, who was preparing dinner for the two of them.
Ellie cooked quietly, skillfully, and deftly. Viana guessed that Ellie always cooked her own food, never buying it from outside or having someone else cook it for her.
Before long, a few simple dishes were on the table. Ellie gave a warm smile. "Good dinner, Miss Viana."
Viana replied softly, pulling Ellie's hand to sit on the chair beside her. "Let's eat together."
Ellie hesitated, but sat next to Viana and helped her with the food.
After the two of them sat down together, Viana began to speak.
"From now on, don't call me lady anymore. Just think of me as your older sister," Viana said slowly.
Ellie was surprised and a little hesitant, but she felt reluctant to refuse Viana's request. "Okay, Sister Viana."
Viana smiled with satisfaction. "Good. Next, since we're going to live in this house together, just pretend it's yours and make yourself comfortable. Don't prioritize me too much," Viana advised solemnly. "From now on, we'll live as equals and help each other out, okay?"
Viana didn't remember her identity. But since Dean assigned Ellie to be her maid, Viana was automatically Ellie's employer. Ellie always flattered her as a lady. With her current condition, Viana somehow felt uncomfortable.
She was homeless now.
Meanwhile, Ellie was stunned by Viana's words.
This person is really nice, Ellie thought.
Ellie stiffly nodded her head in agreement.
Viana smiled at her response and refrained from rubbing her head furiously.
The two ate together. Viana used her right hand, which was fine, and Ellie sometimes helped her with the side dishes.
In between meals, Ellie suddenly asked, "Sister Viana, do you really not remember anything about yourself or your family?"
Viana was surprised and frowned slightly. "I don't remember anything. Didn't you also know that the doctor said I had temporary amnesia? Why are you suddenly asking me that?"
"It's nothing," Ellie replied a little hesitantly. "The moment I saw you, I knew you weren't like other girls normally. You were so beautiful and gentle, like a girl from a rich family. How did you end up like this?"
Viana couldn't answer.
Viana had a clean and smooth physique. Her demeanor was also gentle and polite. All the activities she did, such as eating, drinking, and so on, were very considerate and graceful. Others who saw her could also tell that Viana did not look like an ordinary family girl.
"Maybe my family used to be rich," Viana replied carelessly. "I don't know; I just hope so. Hopefully my memory will recover quickly so I can return to them."
Viana's memory was hazy, and she didn't know if her answer was right or wrong. But it was bittersweet when she finished saying it. It was as if something untrue had happened before.
Ellie heard Viana's answer and said nothing more.
Viana remembered something. "You said you came from a village. Is that village here?"
Ellie nodded. "Ah, right, this is my village. My house is close to here. If I want to go home, I can just go back to my little hut. But there's no one there, so going home or not is the same."
Viana replied with a long "oh" and nodded. Then the two fell silent and finished their meal in silence.
A few moments later...
"Ellie, do you have a cell phone?" asked Viana, who was lying on the bed.
Ellie frowned. "Cell phone? I don't have one. They're expensive, and I can't afford one yet. Besides, there's no one I want to call. So I don't have a cell phone."
Viana, who heard this, fell silent, then took a deep breath.
She was very bored. There was not a single electronic device in the house. Everything was traditional and simple.
Even the most important communication devices, like cell phones or landlines, were missing.
Come to think of it, the person who brought her here should be very rich, even able to rent out a house for the two of them to live in and able to fulfill their daily needs.
But why bother looking for a place in a remote village? If that person wanted to, even a small apartment room in the city would be cheap for him.
Then why was there not a single communication device in this house?
Viana sighed again. Her brain had already thought too much on her first day here.

As usual, the days just flew by. Viana stayed with Ellie in the simple house, healing her wounds and recovering her health. Broken bones take a long time to heal. Viana's left arm and right leg were immobilized for a long time and caused her great suffering.
Fortunately, Dean and Ellie were always watching and caring for Viana. Everything that helped Viana's recovery was always taken care of. Therefore, Viana's healing process was greatly helped.
Moreover, the environment here is pollution-free, which is even better for Viana to recover.
Without realizing it, two months passed.
During that time, Dean would occasionally visit Viana and send her a few things. When they met, the two of them would talk a little longer.
"Dean, I just found out that there's a house next door. I've also seen you going in and out of that house a lot. Does your master live there?" Viana asked once.
Dean knew Viana would realize this sooner or later. "Right, my master and I live there."
"Can I meet him? I really want to thank him," Viana said hopefully. She had been here for almost two months and had yet to meet the person who had saved her.
Dean shook his head slowly. "It's best not to now. You haven't recovered yet, and my master is also very busy. He'll definitely see you once he has time and you're fully recovered."
Viana was a little surprised. Dean's master was so busy? Even in a remote village like this? What kind of work could be done in a remote village like this?
"If I may know, what does your master do?" Viana curiously asked.
Dean looked at Viana for a few seconds before answering. "My master's job is top secret. If I tell you, will you be able to keep this secret?"
Viana was stunned. She didn't expect Dean's master to have such a secret job. "I promise not to reveal your master's job or identity to anyone."
Viana expressed that promise solemnly.
Dean smiled. "My master's name is Alen Rihard. He is a commander of royal intelligence."
Viana’s head immediately throbbed with pain. She held her head in pain.
Dean was shocked. “What’s wrong?”
Viana shook her head. “It’s okay. It’s just that my head suddenly hurts.”
Dean held Viana’s wheelchair. “If you’re not feeling well, I’ll take you back.”
Viana was silent for a moment.
“Dean, I suddenly remember an image of a palace and a mansion. Have I been there before?”
