"How dare you say that I am your Mate while I saw you in the forest being intimate with another man!" Charles roughly tugged at the beautiful dress that adorned Adriel's body after Adriel found him with another girl in the castle hallway.
"I don't understand what you mean, Charles, you're hurting me." Adriel winced and was then thrust into the crowd of guests at the alpha's victory party.
"Ah, don't pretend you don't know, I saw you with another man in the forest, Adriel, you cheap gamma girl!"
Adriel's body fell and she sat on the castle floor, tears streaming down her face because she never expected that her mate would do this to her.
"What is happening here?" Alpha Hadrian frowned at the chaos.
"Forgive me, Alpha, but this gamma girl has been saying nonsense to your daughter, that she is my mate, while I am already with Nayna, your daughter."
Bowing his head, Charles Russell was a Beta who replaced his late father during the great battle with the enemy pack.
What the Beta said made Alpha Hadrian extremely angry. This could not be allowed, he cursed Adriel in front of the guests and even in front of Adriel's own family.
"She has insulted me, father," said a girl who appeared elegantly, "Charles and I are together now, and she came and said she is Charles' mate."
"You ungrateful girl!" The alpha raised his hand to teach Adriel a lesson but a woman immediately knelt and held the alpha's leg.
"Please don't hurt my daughter, Alpha." Alassiel, this woman, was Adriel's mother, then a man who was the same age as the woman pulled Alassiel's arm, who was none other than her husband.
"Forgive my wife, Alpha, we had no intention of disrupting this party. But my cursed daughter seems guilty and you have every right to punish her."
"Father!" Adriel screamed, unable to accept her father's words, "Charles is my mate and the man in the forest that night was him!" Adriel tried to explain.
"Ah, shut up you whore! Nayna is my mate, and don't say anything to ruin the happiness of the alpha's daughter!"
"But alpha, Charles...."
"Silence!" The alpha raised his hand again, indicating that he would not accept any excuses, Adriel had caused chaos and there was no forgiveness for those who disrupted the alpha's grand party. So at that moment, the alpha demanded punishment for Adriel. "You must be punished!"
Tears flowed clearly from Adriel's beautiful eyes, she sobbed as she was stared at by all the guests, even her family couldn't help her. Then Alpha Hadrian asked Charles if Adriel was really his mate, then Charles had to reject her and get rid of her.
"Of course, Alpha, I can reject her right now, and therefore, you Adriel Thompson, I hereby declare you are no longer my mate and I reject you for life!"
The rejection sounded very sacred, even the atmosphere became silent after the extraordinary uproar. Adriel fell silent and her father immediately pulled her arm and dragged her away. She suffered immense pain and cried as hard as she could. Even when she was at home, she was treated badly by her father who didn't like her.
"You always cause trouble, don't you realize that, huh! How dare you think he is your mate! Dreaming of having a Beta mate, you cursed child!" he spat at Adriel, who was now curled up on a soft bed and crying there.
"Stop being harsh on her," her mother tried to calm him down, but instead of calming down, Hadrian, the husband, became even more furious.
"Ah, I can't stand your actions anymore!" He immediately pulled Adriel's body. Making Adriel, who was crying, sob even more and be frightened. What was her father doing?
"Father, please don't... Father, I didn't do anything, he is my mate, he was with me that night, Father!" she screamed, begging not to be punished.
"Shut up, even if he was the man with you that night, it doesn't matter because you are no longer pure!"
Adriel's body was thrown forward, out of the house, and Alassiel as a mother tried to stop her husband from expelling Adriel.
"Don't do this, I beg you, you should forgive her!" Alassiel tried to calm him, but her husband was not calm at all.
"The alpha threatened me that if I don't expel her, they will expel us!"
So at that moment, the mother was silent and let Adriel be treated badly, she was thrown out of the house and watched by many other werewolves, they enjoyed watching all this, and whispered that Adriel would surely join the Rouge group.
Adriel, who was now exhausted, lay in the wet and dirty grass due to animal footprints, she was exhausted and had nothing. She cried until her eyelids were swollen, in the evening on the second day after she was expelled and humiliated, someone came to her and delivered a message to her.
"This is from your mother, a bag of gold jewelry that she owns, she said you should go and stay in the neighboring pack and live there, because in this pack no one will accept you, even your own family."
Tears fell from Adriel's eyes again and she sobbed, the woman who brought the message left, leaving Adriel confused there. She searched to survive and eventually she was told that there was a crossing to another pack, but she had to leave the Darkmoon Light pack forest first.
"How do I get through the forest outside the pack when I've never been out?" she asked a drunk man at that time.
"Ah right, you just need to walk there and get out of the forest, you understand?" And this time Adriel, who still didn't understand, just listened to what the man said, and she didn't even know which direction the pack she was looking for was.
She just walked forward, towards the edge of the forest and at that time, night had fallen and she was extremely shocked, something happened, a very loud explosion was heard, she was startled by the sound.
"Oh my God, what is that sound!" She immediately knelt down, covering her ears and couldn't stand what she heard. The light of fire was clearly visible and a bullet pierced her arm, she felt pain, it was like fire and she screamed, cried, and fell on the forest grass, her eyes starting to dim.
Even so, she still heard voices, saying, "A girl, you shot a girl!"
