"Mom, Dad... did you miss me? Brother did you miss me? I missed you guys here so much," she whispered again. but this time with tears streaming down her smooth cheeks.

Every time laura missed her mother or her family, she always remembered her mother's words to always be a strong and tough woman. Don't show weakness in public especially to people who can take advantage of your weakness. Her mother was a strong woman, her mother could always face the problems that befell her family without complaining. Her mother always said 'As long as we are all united, we will always be able to face the problems that exist well'.

Her mother always wanted her and her sister to be happy someday, and since the incident where her family was killed and left her alone, Laura promised to live a happy life. But one day, during her second week in New York, she felt a pain in her chest, thinking it might be temporary, but then she felt it so often that she decided to go to the hospital and see William.

Since then, she realized her heart was weak. What's kept her going all this time is the medication she's been taking at William's suggestion. But Laura still needs maximum care to recover.

"Mom, do I have to accept William's help to be happy?" Laura shook her head. "No, my mind is made up, I won't accept William's help."

If she could choose, Laura would choose to live happily with her family. But the one who controls life is not her. God has destined all of this. I don't know what God is planning for her. Now Laura understands, maybe soon she will follow her family and leave this world. "Laura?"

Laura wiped her tears and looked back when she heard her name being called. She saw Justin standing there looking straight at her and a little worried?

"Justin? Why are you here?"

Justin ignored Laura's question. "Are you crying?"

Laura was stunned to get that question from Justin. "No. No, I'm not crying, I just had an itchy, red eye."

Justin grinned. "Laura, Laura, are you that stupid or what? You're really not good at lying. I didn't tell you that I knew you were crying from your red eyes. Your tear marks are clearly visible around your eyes Laura, and your eyelashes are wet." Justin said as he walked over to Laura.

Hearing Justin's words, Laura could only bow her head because she was caught crying.

The man sat next to Laura. He pulled her face to look at him. "What made you cry hm?" his voice softened.

As quickly as possible, Laura racked her brain for a good answer to Justin's question. For about two minutes, Laura didn't answer Justin's question and she was lost in thought.

Something doesn't seem right. Justin thought.

Justin's hand waved in front of Laura's face and said her name. "Laura."

Laura realized that she looked like an idiot. "Yes, yes?"

"What made you cry hm?" Justin repeated.

Laura already had the right answer. She just smiled and shook her head. "I just didn't expect to be here, with you guys and at such a good time. When my best friend and lover betrayed me, you were always there for me. Thank you." she said sincerely.

She wanted to say that even though she lied about why she was crying, but what she said was the truth. Justin was always there for her when she was sad or not. He shouldn't have regretted meeting Justin, but the guy was annoying enough for him.

Justin smiled. He stroked the top of Laura's head and pulled her into his arms. "I don't know why you lied to me." Laura held her breath at that. "But, it did make me feel like I belonged to you. You're welcome Laura, you're welcome." Justin kissed Laura's forehead softly and long enough.

"Tell me when you're ready, I'll always listen."

Laura just nodded her head softly. Justin looked at Laura intensely.

"Wha..da what Justin?" she was nervous.

Justin smiled wryly. "Guess what today is."

Laura seemed to think for a moment. Then she answered. "March 26, then?"

"You forgot?"

Justin's question made Laura very confused. What's wrong with March 26? She thought hard and then a moment later, she widened her eyes.

"My birthday!"

"Happy Birthday, my girlfriend!"

Justin hugged Laura tightly. Laura closed her eyes for a moment and then opened them, she had no idea it was her birthday. In fact, she didn't remember it at all. Laura felt unable to move her limbs. She was still speechless with her eyes fully open. Justin broke the embrace, waving his hand in front of Laura's face.

The woman's beautiful eyes blinked repeatedly. "I... It's my birthday?" she asked in disbelief.

Justin kissed Laura's lips. "Yes of course, today is March 26th."

"I still can't believe it. I'm not dreaming, am I?"

Annoyed by Laura's reaction, Justin pinched Laura's cheek anxiously.

"Aw! It hurts Justin! Why are you pinching my cheek!" Laura rubbed her cheek.

"It hurts, doesn't it? That's a sign that you're not dreaming." Justin said.

With her innocent face Laura nodded slowly. Justin took something out of his jacket pocket. It was a red velvet city. He opened it and found it empty. Laura frowned in confusion. Suddenly Justin asked her to sit on her side. She felt confused.

Laura felt Justin's hand around her neck. As he let go of the necklace, Justin's other hand was in front of her chest and his other hand let go of the necklace so that it fell into his other hand. Laura looked down at the necklace, I don't know what made her feel sad. She felt like she was missing something. It wasn't because the necklace was removed, but because of something else.

Does that mean Justin broke up with us? But why do I feel sad? Like a broken heart, you should be happy Laura! Laura's mind screamed.

Just as she wanted to turn her back, Justin held her back. She complied and turned her back to him.

"Close your eyes Ra!"

Laura's heart dropped at the sound of Justin's sexy and soft voice. And that was the first time Laura was called 'Ra' by someone else. No one had ever called her that other than her own family, not even her ex-boyfriend.

Laura closed her eyes. A moment later, she felt something hanging from her neck. Just as she was about to open her eyes, Justin noticed her intention.

"Don't open your eyes Ra." Justin whispered.

Laura was forced to wait until Justin told her to open her eyes.

"Now, open your eyes!"

The words were like an order that had to be obeyed immediately. Laura opened her eyes and looked down to see something hanging around her neck. It was a beautiful necklace. Laura couldn't believe what she was touching right now. The necklace contained many diamonds. Laura was sure it must have cost a lot more than the previous necklace she wore.
