Meanwhile, Justin, William, and Ethan were happy to know that they had won. Justin walked over to Laura and rubbed her forehead. "Are you tired?"
Laura looked up and stroked Justin's jaw. "Not bad, how about you?"
"So am I."
"It's getting late Justin, I want to see the sunset here later. Are you coming?" Laura asked.
"Sure.
At this moment, they were with their respective partners. Laura and Justin were sitting under a tree laughing, Sarah and William were by the sea in the sand building sand castles and scribbling in the sand with wood, and Lidya and Ethan were flying the kites they had brought.
"Justin you saw that! Hahaha!"
Laura pointed at William and Sarah who were arguing about the sand area. William ignorantly destroyed the sand work that Sarah had worked so hard to build until she got upset and they ended up chasing each other like children.
A smile was etched on Justin's face seeing a happy Laura. He put his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close. Then Justin pointed to something in the sky.
"You see that cloud, what shape is it?"
Laura looked thoughtful. "Um... pointy?"
"No."
"A planet?"
"No, it's very clear honey."
"Triangle?"
"Wrong."
"I give up. What shape is it?" Laura surrendered.
"You can see it from here." Justin said.
Laura tilted her head until her head was right on Justin's broad chest. She kept her eyes focused on the sky.
"What shape is it Justin?" asked Laura without taking her eyes off the sky.
When Laura turned her head to look at Justin's face. She immediately received a gentle peck on her forehead from Justin. The treatment made Laura stare at Justin for a long time. Then when she realized something, Laura punched him in the chest.
"You did that on purpose!"
"Maybe? You're the gullible one Laura, Haha."
"You are Justin! You've got something going on."
Laura stood up followed by Justin. "Where are you going?"
"I want to see the sunset, it's starting to go down."
"Alright, come on!"
As Justin stood up, the man pulled Laura by the hand. Justin took Laura to a quiet spot by the beach. Justin sat there followed by Laura.
"It's more beautiful if you look from here." he said.
"What's the difference?" asked Laura.
Once again Justin put his arm around Laura and looked at her seductively. "Because no one will bother us here."
Laura turned her face away as she blushed. If every day was like this, she wouldn't be able to stand it if she had to hear Justin's sweet words every day. She always had to turn her face away when her cheeks blushed.
"So what if we're being bullied?" asked Laura, trying to act casual.
"If someone disturbs us, I can't be romantic with you," Justin retorted.
Oh my God! Can't Justin just not say sweet nothings for once? Laura felt so weak, like she was getting carried away. Or maybe she was?
"Whatever you say," Laura said, looking down.
Justin knew she must be embarrassed. He pulled Laura's head back to rest on his chest as his hand gently stroked her hair.
'No,'
"Hm?"
"I have something to ask you."
Laura sat up straight and looked at Justin. "Ask what?"
"Do you still love Samuel?" he asked, his eyes sad.
Laura looked at those sad eyes with a bit of surprise mixed with sadness. "Why are you asking me that?" Laura asked softly.
Just answer honestly Laura."
"I... don't know, maybe."
Justin's heart sank when he heard Laura's answer. When will she love him? How could she forget Samuel? Justin even wanted to punch Samuel in the face for wasting a woman like Laura. But he was also lucky, that's why he met Laura.
When did you see me Laura? Don't I deserve to be loved by you? You're mine Laura, forever. Justin thought softly.
"Can't you get over it? I don't want you to be hurt all the time Laura," Justin said.
Laura looked down. "I'm trying to get over it Justin, but...".
"But what Laura?"
"I'm afraid I can't." Laura said quietly.
"You can Laura, trust me you will." Justin encouraged.
Laura closed her eyes. "Why are you so sure?"
Justin's hand moved to stroke Laura's hair as he looked at her. "Because I'm going to help you."
"You?" Laura whispered.
"Yes, but you have to obey me Laura, so you can forget him. Do you want to?"
"I will."
Let me be sneaky to get to you. At least I won't hurt you like that man foolishly hurt you! Justin closed his eyes to contain his emotions.
"Justin, can I ask you something?" Laura stroked Justin's jaw.
He smiled. "Why not?"
"Why are you so nice to me? I'm just your personal servant. You take me around like I'm your real lover, but I'm not, Justin."
For some reason, Laura's heart ached when she said that. Her chest tightened at the fact that she was just his personal servant. Was she starting to love Justin?
No, no you don't love him Laura, you can't love him, you are far beneath him Laura, you don't deserve him. You still love that asshole Laura, admit it. His mind warned him.
Justin's jaw tightened, his eyes wiped angrily. Justin clenched his hands into fists. He tried his best not to let his emotions out on Laura.
"Laura, have you forgotten or something? You're my girlfriend Laura."
"It's not real Justin, I just-"
"Who said that? When I say you're my lover, you're already my lover, the real Laura, not the fake one." Justin interrupted.
Then Justin touched the necklace around Laura's neck. "I gave you this necklace which means you are my lover Laura."
"You weren't joking? I thought you were joking all along."
"No, I wasn't joking. I don't care if you refuse, you are my lover!" Justin insisted.
Laura narrowed her eyes. "You forced Justin,"
"I am." he replied lightly.
"I'm not your boyfriend Justin!" annoyed Laura.
"Oh, you are Laura."
"No!"
Justin grinned. "You'll see tomorrow, I have a surprise for you."
"You're not messing around are you?" Laura gave Justin a suspicious look.
"Look, now we better enjoy the sunset. You said you wanted to see the sunset." Justin said softly.
"Hmm..."
....
It was already evening, Justin and the others were at the house there. The house belonged to Justin and was very spacious, you could say a mansion. Laura, Lidya, and Sarah were cooking in the kitchen for their dinner. The men were in the living room talking to each other about business and everything else.
"So, you?" William blinked his eyes many times.
"Yeah, I love her, a lot." Justin replied.
Ethan nodded. "You've confirmed your feelings?"
The man sighed. "I can't be away from her, I also don't like it when she cries sad, it breaks my heart to see her, I like to see her happy, especially if it's because of myself."
William stood up and patted her hand. "Wow! Ethan, is this really our best friend Justin?"
"I doubt it's him Will," Ethan replied. "Justin, I think you really love that woman. You've changed and I think it's because of Laura. You were never like this again after that bitch betrayed and left you."
"She loves Samuel," Justin said with his eyes glinting.
"Samuel? Samuel who? Don't you say Samuel is Theo's successor?" asked Ethan.
"Yes, that's him," said Justin.
Ethan tapped the table. "Oh my God, how can that be?"
Meanwhile, William had been silent. He knew which Samuel Justin was referring to, of course he also knew about Laura's problems with Samuel. But he had to pretend he didn't know.
Justin clenched his hands on his legs. "Samuel, her ex who betrayed her. Samuel was in a relationship with Gabriel, Laura's best friend. In other words, her best friend and lover betrayed her." Justin explained.
"What, poor Laura. She must be very disappointed." William said with a surprised look on his face.
"She was so disappointed that she avoided them both when they wanted to explain to her."
Justin seemed to sense what Laura was feeling. He looked angry and wanted to punch Samuel in the face.
"Well, you don't have much time buddy, in 1 year and 7 months she's going to leave you," Ethan said.
"That's why, I'll tie her up, I won't let her go. I don't care if she doesn't love me," he said.
"Dinner is ready!" shouted Lidya who was walking towards them. Then, the three men stopped their conversation.
"Lid, I'm already hungry. You took so long to cook," William grumbled.
Lidya ignored William's scolding and walked back to the dining room. She sat on Sarah's right. While on Sarah's left was Caitlyn and in front of her would be their respective partners.
"Hmm that smells so good!" praised Justin who had just sat down with Ethan and William.
"What do you want Justin?" asked Laura.
"Anything."
Laura put some side dishes on Justin's plate. They ate together while talking to each other about tomorrow's plans. The boys suggested that tomorrow they would take a boat to see dolphins together in the middle of the sea. Then they would go snorkeling, after snorkeling lunch, after lunch, free time for a while and then they would go fishing together for the barbeque in the evening.
The program was of course approved by the ladies. Moreover, they were so excited to know that they would see dolphins. The three men just shook their heads at their partner's excitement. Especially Laura because she had never seen dolphins before. While Lidya and Sarah had.
"Alright, we'll do it all tomorrow!" said Laura cheerfully.
