The woman sighed. "Justin, what was the deal? You come back here at lunchtime and go back to the office when lunchtime is over. It's past lunchtime Justin!"

"Okay okay! I'm going back to the office!" Justin resigned.

Laura smiled slightly. She pushed Justin's body out of the walk in closet as well as his room. "Now you go," she said bluntly.

"But you're not going anywhere. Call me first if you want to leave and hold on to this." Justin said as he held out his hand which contained an atm card. Laura shook her head no, she didn't want to accept the card. It didn't belong to her.

Laura pushed Justin's hand away. "I can't take it Justin, it's not mine." Laura refused.

Justin held out his hand again. "It's yours Laura, I gave it to you which means it's yours."

"But Justin-"

"You can use it for shopping or whatever." Justin interrupted. He took Laura's hand and placed the card in her palm. After that, Justin left without another word. Leaving his girlfriend still silent as she looked at the card in his hand.

Looking at Justin's retreating back, Laura sighed and looked back at the atm card in her hand. She put the card in her pocket so she wouldn't lose it and tidied up her room which was a little scattered because she unpacked her clothes earlier.

After tidying up her room, Laura felt bored. She wanted to go to the mall and maybe buy a summer hat for the beach tomorrow. Actually Justin had given it to her, but she refused and decided to buy it herself with the money she had.

"Simon, I want to go to the mall because I'm bored. Can you drive me?" asked Laura as she arrived in front of the mansion.

"Sure Miss," Simon replied as he opened the door for Laura.

She got into the car and thanked Simon.

The luxury car in which Laura was traveling stopped right in front of the mall's door. Laura got out of the car and entered the mall. After seeing her come out, Simon spoke to someone through the micro earpiece.

"Ms. Laura is inside the mall."

Then Simon started the car. Laura walked around the mall a little confused. The mall was huge, how could she explore the mall just for a hat? But she had to try, the mall was huge, let's call it a challenge for her.

Laura sighed and wandered around the huge mall. Until finally, a shop caught her attention. A shop that sold hats that really caught her attention.

Laura stepped inside the hat shop. There were many women in there.

Seeing Laura in there, made a bunch of women whisper about her. Laura already felt uncomfortable with that, she knew she was being talked about the moment she entered the shop. Sighing in annoyance, Laura was forced to leave the store. She really wanted to look at the hats in the shop. But she didn't like being talked about. Being with Justin had brought big problems to her life. The women who glorified him would definitely disturb her peace of mind.

When will it all be over? Laura thought softly.

When Laura turned her body around. Her eyes met the green eyes of someone she missed so much. However, she also hated that person. Those green eyes looked at her sadly. Laura averted her gaze and walked past him but her hand was blocked.

"Laura, how long are you going to be like this to us?"

Laura hissed. "Let go of my hand Gab!"

"I won't let you leave again without hearing my explanation Laura!" Gabriel insisted.

"Gabriel is gone!"

"No way! I love you so much Laura, listen to my explanation."

Laura turned her body to face Gabriel with teary eyes. "What's wrong with you? Aren't you satisfied to see me hurt? Is that not enough for you? I hate betrayers! You know that!".

"Laura-"

"Gabriel Stop! What do you think I am?! Who can you betray?! I'm not as weak as you think!"

Laura stomped Gabriel's hand and ran away.

I'm sure she'll be the top news in a while, considering how many people are staring at her. Who knows what news will be gossiped about her later. Laura didn't really care about that.

Actually, she does care.

Laura took back her not-so-caring words. She cares, she really cares! How could she not care when people were gossiping about her bumping into Justin's mistress? Seriously! Who would make a story like that? Didn't that person have any other ideas? The rumor had only started an hour ago but it had already managed to make her head spin. The news about her and Gabriel had already spread all over the world. Laura really had to endure the embarrassment of this. Although she thought it would be Gabriel who would be more embarrassed, she was from a prominent family, people would definitely slander her as Justin's mistress even though she was married.

"What should I do to make this stop?" Laura muttered under her breath.

Now, Laura was in a cafe. She could see people whispering to her while looking at their cell phones. Laura sighed and stirred her warm tea. Laura thought about that beautiful hat again, she really wanted it. However, the situation was not in her favor to go back to the shop. Laura didn't even dare to leave the cafe. What should she do now? She had to find something that could cover her face so she wouldn't be seen. But what? It looked like she was going to have to walk out of there with her face on display. She couldn't find any other way to get out of there.

With one breath, Laura left a few bills on the table and stood up and walked out of the cafe. She had to get to the front door of the mall and get out.

"There he is!"

Laura turned her head when she heard someone shouting just as she exited the cafe. She saw nothing but people passing by except for a bunch of people running towards her. Laura just made a confused face. She didn't even recognize those people, but why were they running towards her?

"A-"

Suddenly someone grabbed her mouth from behind and pulled her. Laura struggled to let go but it seemed like the person had no intention of letting go at all. When they reached a quiet and hidden place, the person released the chokehold and let go of her. Laura immediately reflexively ran away, but she was too quick for the man to get his hands back on her and then turned her around to look at him. From what Laura saw, the person was a man and looked like someone. But she dismissed the thought as impossible.
