"Sir, what happened?" asked Robby when Laura and Abigail were out of sight.

Justin sighed, he massaged his temples. "I left her for a meeting, when I came back, she was gone. I looked for her everywhere until I found her in the toilet unconscious and that was that."

"Should I do that, sir?"

Justin smiled slyly. "You always know what to do Rob."

"Well sir, if you'll excuse me."

"No need now, wait for your wife to come out, you take her back to the mansion, then do it." Justin ordered firmly.

Robby nodded his head and waited. Meanwhile, Justin changed his suit and shirt. The man also changed his pants, but not in front of Robby of course. Even though they were both men, Justin still had some shame. Justin changed his pants in his private room which could only be entered by scanning his logo as well as his face. The private room is also hidden, because it is behind a wall that is only known by Justin and also some of his confidants.

After a few minutes, Laura and Abigail came out of the room. Laura had changed into the knee-length, sleeveless dress that Justin had bought for her. Actually, all the clothes in Laura's walk-in closet were bought by her. But sometimes, Laura wore her own clothes.

"Are you still cold Laura?" asked Justin as he approached Laura.

Laura nodded slowly. "It's better, because I took a warm shower earlier."

"Good, then you Abigail can go home."

"Yes sir."

Abigail stepped closer to Robby and they walked towards the door. But Laura's voice stopped them in their tracks.

Abigail, Laura called. Abigail turned her head to look at Laura. "Yes Miss? Is there anything you need?"

"Thank you." Laura smiled sweetly.

Slightly surprised, Abigail bowed her body. "You're welcome miss, if you'll excuse me."

After they left, Justin immediately hugged Laura tightly making her stiffen a little.

"Laura, I was so worried about you! What's wrong with you? I was so worried Laura!"

Laura was stunned. Justin was worried about her? Why would Justin worry about her? He was acting as if Laura was his girlfriend. But he wasn't, not even a friend in Laura's opinion. She always reminded herself that she was nothing but his personal servant.

"Justin let go," Laura pleaded.

Justin let go of her embrace. "Who made you like this?" he asked seriously.

"I...I don't know..." Laura replied looking down.

"Don't lie Laura! You don't know, seriously, you must be joking! Tell me Laura, who!" snapped Justin. He was really annoyed with Laura for always hiding this from him.

"I don't know Justin! I don't know their names." Laura was honest.

Justin sighed. He hugged Laura again. If anything happened to her, Justin would never forgive himself. He realized that he loved Laura so much. He was even willing to die for her. As long as she was okay.

"Justin, what's wrong with you, you act like I'm your girlfriend." Laura wondered.

Instead of answering, Justin smiled wryly. Then he brought his face closer to Laura's ear.

"Then from today you are my lover Ms. Anderson!" Justin whispered.

"What?! No! I don't want to!" Laura flatly refused.

"Too bad, I don't take no for an answer." Justin took something out of his coat pocket. He stood behind Laura and put a beautiful diamond necklace around her neck.

Laura held the necklace, then looked up at Justin. "What's this?"

"A necklace."

"I know it's Justin's necklace! What do I mean by that?" she fumed.

"As a sign that you are my lover and mine."

Laura snorted. "I didn't say I accepted it Justin. I haven't even-"

Her words were cut off by Justin who kissed her lips suddenly. "I don't need your answer baby, from today you are my lover!"

Justin said in a very firm tone. His eyes looked at Laura sharply but there was tenderness behind that piercing gaze. Laura's heart was racing. She still didn't understand the situation she was in. She couldn't believe this was real, she must be dreaming.

Oh, I can't believe it!

"Ju..Justin, your jokes aren't funny!" Laura said nervously.

"Did I say I was joking Laura? You didn't, did you?"

"T...ta...but-"

"Laura, were my words not clear enough?" interrupted Justin.

Laura snorted. "I didn't say I accepted it Justin!" she snorted.

Justin was getting a little too excited about Laura. He pinched both her cheeks. "I told you I don't accept rejection!"

"Whatever!" resigned Laura.

Seeing Laura's reply made Justin couldn't resist kissing her lips. He grabbed her waist and kissed her gently on the lips. The gentle kiss managed to sweep Laura away. She kissed Justin back and wrapped her arms around his nape.

"Should I call the doctor?" asked Justin softly as they broke their kiss. He pressed his forehead against Laura's.

"No need jusyiy." Laura moved her face away but still stood in front of Justin.

Justin held back his anger at the look on Laura's face. He stroked Laura's cheek with a very slow and gentle movement.

"Shush..." Laura chuckled.

Who dares to do this to you Laura?" Justin thought angrily.

"Laura, what are they doing to you?"

"Nothing Justin, you don't have to worry."

Justin narrowed his eyes at Laura. "Laura remember, you are my lover from now on, whatever happens to you is my responsibility now! Your face is like this Laura! I'm so worried!"

"I...I just...got slapped." Laura replied fearfully.

"Just?!" snapped Justin. He ruffled his hair. "Laura! You said it was just? How many times did they slap you until your face looked like this?!"

Laura didn't dare look at Justin's angry face. She just lowered her head. "Three or five maybe?" she replied quietly but Justin could still hear her.

"What?! That's too bad! Let's go home now!"

"But Justin-"

"Go home Laura!"

It looked like Justin was really angry. Laura didn't dare to answer anymore and just obeyed Justin's orders. Seeing Justin angry was horrible. There was no mistaking the news about that guy. Justin turned horrible when he was angry. How much more cruel? Laura couldn't imagine it.

From the office to the mansion Laura and Justin didn't do anything at all. They were silent, no one started the conversation first. Laura wanted to speak but she didn't dare. Justin was really angry. I don't know what made him angry. Laura only said she was slapped 3 or 5 times maybe. Was he angry because he was slapped? No way, what did Justin care? He was nothing to that man.

Even if she was Justin's girlfriend, it would only be temporary. Justin couldn't possibly love her, he would get bored and break up with her. Laura wouldn't let herself fall in love with him. If she loved Justin, it would only hurt her heart because of his unrequited love. Justin will never melt, the man's heart is as cold as ice, the woman who can melt Justin's heart is a lucky woman. And Laura was sure that Justin would be a very responsible husband to his wife. Lucky woman.

There were only two things that confused Laura. First, why was he angry and second, did he say he was worried about her? Why was Justin worried about her? One thing was clear, he couldn't possibly love a poor woman like her. I don't know why it would break her heart if that was true.

No Laura! You can't love him. It will only cause wounds in your heart. You've been betrayed enough!" Laura thought to herself.

Laura followed Justin until he stopped in the living room. Justin told Laura to sit down. Laura sat down immediately, while Justin went somewhere else. Not long after, Justin returned with a box in his hand. It turned out to be a first aid kit.

Justin sat next to Laura and pulled her to face him. Justin grimaced at the bruise on Laura's cheek. He immediately took out some medicine and gently treated Laura's cheek.

Laura's eyes caught Justin's slow and gentle movements. She winced slightly when Justin touched her cheek. Laura's hand caught Justin's hand which immediately stopped the man. Justin looked up and his eyes met Laura's.

"I'll treat you myself Justin." Laura said softly.

"No, let me!" Justin refused.

Laura just obeyed and let go of his chokehold. She continued to stare at Justin's face who was very serious in treating her wound. Justin skillfully treated Laura's wound. In his heart, he would retaliate against whoever had made Laura like this. It didn't matter if it was a man or a woman. No one should hurt or harm the woman he loved. If that person dares, get ready to leave the real world because Justin will hasten his death.

"What do you want to eat?" asked Laura suddenly.

Justin looked up and stared at Laura. "Why are you asking me that?"
