"Justin, are you okay?"
Justin responded by nodding slowly. Then he left Laura for the dining room. Feeling abandoned, Laura quickly followed Justin. She sat on the chair opposite Justin and got some bread and spread some jam on it for Justin. Justin happily accepted the bread and ate it. Laura also ate the bread, then said goodbye to Justin to go to the toilet.
Seeing Laura leave, Justin sighed heavily. He seemed to love her, he loved her too, and he really wanted her. Justin smiled wryly as he remembered that he still had another year and seven months of Laura under his control. According to Justin, what was already his could not be owned by someone else or taken away. Justin wouldn't let that happen.
What's already mine, I won't let go for the rest of my life! Justin thought with a smirk on his face.
Ah, Justin was going to make that woman his. He wouldn't let himself lose the woman he loved again after she betrayed him and left him.
.....
The car driven by Justin stopped right at the VVIP parking lot that had been reserved for him at his own company. Justin got out of the car together with Laura. They looked very familiar. Laura was laughing because she managed to make him upset. But Justin smiled at Laura's laughter. It was rare for her to laugh, especially in front of him.
Now, Laura and Justin had entered the company building. Seeing a lot of stares from Justin's employees, Laura preferred to keep quiet while walking and followed him from behind.
A woman approached Justin with some files in her hand, stopping both Justin and Laura in their tracks. "Sir, the meeting will start in a few minutes and Mr. Galvao is waiting for you in the meeting room."
"I'll be right there." Justin said with a nod from the woman.
"Laura, I have a meeting coming up. Do you want to come with me or wait in my room?"
"I think waiting is better." said Laura.
Justin nodded his head. "Then you go ahead, I'll go straight to the meeting room."
They entered the elevator together. But Justin stopped on the 30th floor while Laura was on the 35th floor. Justin entered the meeting room while holding the buttons of his suit.
"I'm sorry for being late Mr. Galvao." Justin said as he shook hands with the middle-aged man.
"Ah, that's no problem Mr. Watson, let's get started then."
Justin sat down on the chair and started his meeting which was about the cooperation between the two companies. His company and Mr. Galvao's company.
At the same time, Laura was staring at the woman in front of her who had forbidden her to enter Justin's room. Laura had said many times that she would tell Justin to wait inside during the meeting. However, it seemed that Justin's secretary was either deaf or deliberately did not understand her words.
"You can't come in without Mr. Justin's permission!" she demanded with a sharp glare.
"How many times have I told you, I-"
"You're still not coming in! Mr. Justin didn't leave me any message!"
How could he leave a message? The man himself was in such a hurry that there was no time to leave a message for his secretary who Laura considered to be so shameless. A skirt above the knee, a shirt with three buttons from the top open to the point where Laura thought her breasts were almost out. And let's not forget her make-up, which was as over the top as a Barbie doll. Did this woman want to work or flirt with men? Laura snorted in annoyance at the thought of this woman flirting with Justin. I don't know why she didn't like it. And, why doesn't this woman just join the meeting?! She's the man's secretary after all.
"What's going on?"
The woman and Laura both turned to the source of the voice. A man with a suit clinging to his body was standing there. Laura felt like she recognized the man. She recalled who the man standing there was.
Ah! Laura remembered! It was the man who showed her the direction of the company's kitchen back then.
"Sir, this woman keeps insisting on entering Mr. Justin's room." Justin's secretary complained.
Laura rolled her eyes at the woman's complaint. Seriously! Couldn't her life be any better? Did she have to meet this woman every time she entered Justin's company?
"Let her in Rebecca." the man ordered.
Gosh, Laura felt like mocking the woman named Rebecca when she saw her eyes rounded in surprise.
"Wha... Wha... What sir?" asked Rebecca making sure her ears didn't mishear.
"Was I not clear enough? Let her in!"
"Ta... but sir-... alright." resigned Rebecca finally. She gave Laura a sardonic look as the woman walked into the room followed by the man.
"Thank you." said Laura as they entered Justin's room.
"No problem. So, who are you? Justin never told me about you.".
Laura followed the man who sat on the sofa. "Who are you?"
"Me? I'm Ethan Irving Leonardo, Justin's asshole best friend. How about you?" Ethan held out his hand.
"Laura Anderson, yes he's a jerk." Laura replied as she accepted the man's hand with a slight laugh.
"So... you're his date too?"
"What?! No!"
"Then?"
"I... can't say."
Ethan frowned in understanding. She stood up and headed for the door. Before that, Ethan said. "Looks like you're not his personal servant anymore, Ms. Anderson."
Laura didn't understand what Ethan meant. But she was quite surprised when he said the word personal servant. Ethan knew, and it had to be Justin. Laura sighed and walked out of the room. She wanted to go to the company's courtyard garden that she had glimpsed.
"Rebecca, I'm going to the garden for a while." she said as she walked without caring about Rebecca's sardonic stare.
"What do I care?" snapped Rebeсса.
"Whatever!"
Laura entered the public elevator and went down to the lowest floor.
