The lights were also shining in their direction. Everyone stopped dancing and let the two of them dance beautifully. Even Justin and Laura were enjoying themselves. They didn't even realize they were the center of attention. Justin and Laura just focused on looking at each other and continued to dance beautifully.
They danced for a long time until finally as the closing of the dance, Justin lifted Laura's body then quickly lowered it back down and Laura immediately spun very far and then returned to Justin. Laura smiled so sweetly at Justin that even he was stunned.
The sound of applause was strong. They were all enjoying Laura's dance with Justin. In fact, because of that, more people stayed than left. Laura and Justin bowed to everyone and left the dance floor. Unconsciously, they held hands.
Samuel and Gabriel looked at each other for a moment. Then Gabriel smiled. "Looks like he found the right replacement for you."
Samuel nodded slowly.
"I think so, I can see the look of love in both of their eyes. Maybe they just haven't realized it yet."
"I didn't expect Mr. Watson to be your replacement for him." squealed Gabriel in delight.
"Why, do you like him?" asked Samuel in a jealous tone.
"Geez baby, I just love you okay? You don't have to be so jealous." said Gabriel with a soft laugh.
Samuel pinched Gabriel's cheek excitedly. "Watch out!"
Justin and Laura stopped at the table with food and drinks. "How was it? Who was the center of attention earlier? The bride or the guest?"
"The bride." Laura replied, not to be outdone.
Justin was getting annoyed with Laura. He pinched her cheek in excitement. "You don't want to lose, do you?"
"Aw, that hurts!" Laura hit Justin's arm lightly.
He just laughed softly. "Or do you want us to do it again?" Justin teased.
"That's enough! I don't want to!" Laura flatly refused.
"How about this?" Justin brought his face closer and kissed Laura on the lips. He crushed Laura's lips very gently. Laura started to get lost in the kiss. She wrapped her arms around Justin's nape and kissed him back. Justin smiled in between kisses, even though Laura was still stiff, he was still happy that her kiss was reciprocated.
They didn't realize they were the center of attention. When out of breath, Justin only let go briefly and then went back to kissing Laura's lips. The sound of applause interrupted their kiss. Laura immediately looked down in shame. Justin who realized it immediately hugged Laura. Laura hid her face in Justin's chest because she was so embarrassed. She hit Justin's chest lightly. Because of him she was so embarrassed. Really very embarrassed.
"Laura, it's safe." Justin whispered, holding back his laughter.
"Uh, you! Get over it! I want to be alone!" shooed Laura irritably.
"Well, I'll talk to the others first, you stay put!" warned Justin.
Laura nodded slowly and let him go.
"Laura!"
Laura immediately turned around and looked for the person who called her name. Then she saw a woman she recognized coming towards her. Laura prepared to leave, but her hand was held by the woman.
"Laura, please." said the woman who was none other than Gabriel.
"Let go of my hand Gab!" hissed Laura with a cold stare.
"No! I'm your best friend, you have to listen to my explanation!"
"Gabriel, I said let go!" snapped Laura.
She stared at Gabriel with her piercing gaze. "A friend does not betray a friend. Laura hissed and pushed Gabriela away so that the chokehold was released and she quickly walked away.
Laura took a breath and let it out. Laura took a drink and sipped it. Suddenly, Laura heard a familiar voice from the stage. She turned around and found Samuel talking there.
"I'd like to sing a song, which I'd like to address to someone."
Laura smiled sadly, of course it was for Gabriel. All this time, Laura thought Samuel loved her so much, but it turned out that Samuel didn't love her at all, he loved Gabriel instead. She felt so stupid! Even more stupid! Laura closed her eyes to hold back the tears that were about to flow.
Suddenly her shoulder was gently stroked by a burly hand. She already knew who it was. It had to be Justin, the man who was always there for her, anytime, anywhere.
Laura turned her head back and smiled slightly at him as she touched Justin's hand. "I'm okay."
"Are you sure? Should we just go home?"
"No need Justin, I'm fine. You said I have to be strong right? Let me hold on justin."
"Yes, you have to be strong. I will always be there for you." Justin said still stroking her shoulder.
"Thank you."
Laura closed her eyes. "Justin, can you leave me alone? I need to be alone."
"Okay."
Laura opened her eyes and saw that Gabriella was already on stage too with tears flowing. Probably touched by what Samuel had done.
After gazing at the newlyweds' appearance. Laura decided to get another drink, but again she felt her hand being held back.
"Laura."
Laura closed her eyes at the soft voice. She turned her body around and brushed off the hand that was holding her a little roughly.
"What do you want?" she asked sharply.
"Laura, listen to our explanation." Samuel said.
"I don't need your explanation!" she hissed.
"Laura-"
"No need!"
"Laura, listen."
"I don't need Gab!" she said holding back her anger.
"Laura-"
"NO!" Laura shouted at the top of her lungs. Her anger had boiled over. Everyone drew their attention to the three of them.
Laura just burst into tears. She couldn't take it anymore, especially since they kept pushing her.
"Laura!"
Justin came and approached her. He immediately hugged Laura and let her cry in his arms. His chest ached to see Laura crying. Justin quickly took Laura out of there and got into the car. Justin ordered the driver to drive the car back to the mansion.
