Then, my body began to shake violently along with the pain that overcame my body. Increasingly, the pain continued to feel as if my body was bound by thousands of ropes. After a while, the pain began to decrease little by little as if someone had untied the ropes one by one. I caught my breath relieved that it was over. I looked at Ruru.
"You, what are you..." the tip of Ruru's fur changed color again. At that moment, I felt pain again as if my body was being pulled from all directions.
"ah!" I winced.
It hurt. Then, when all the feathers turned sky blue, the pain simply disappeared. My body went limp. I was drained and my body was aching. Just as I was about to take a step, I fell down.
As soon as I fell, the white room disappeared. Aeru reappeared. Vaguely, I still saw the purple clouds and their golden powder. I finally realized something. Me, still trapped in this strange world! I'm still trapped in Qahara!
Bushes with shining fruit filled my vision. My body didn't hurt anymore. In fact, I felt very energetic. Ruru floated back before me. His fur turned light blue. Vaguely, I can remember what happened in that white room. What exactly did Ruru do to me?
Aeru is standing beside Ruru. I don't know, but I feel like Aeru looks cute? In a way, I'm starting to like Aeru and Ruru. I mean, they are not furry creatures begging for affection. They are smart and cute. But, I like panda-sized Aeru more than her giant size.
"Are you okay?" Aeru asked.
I nodded. Ruru picked up a bright red fruit and gave it to me. I accepted the fruit in my hand. Right away, I was about to bite into the fruit. But the fruit was very hard. Its surface was like glass. It clinked when my teeth touched its surface. It really looked like a lamp.
"Damn! Are you sure this is edible?" I asked Ruru. My teeth throbbed with pain.
"That's not how you eat it, Ruru!" said Ruru.
I looked at Aeru and Ruru back and forth. I'm pretty sure there's no way to eat the thing in my hand. I don't think the thing in my hand deserves to be called a fruit.
"If you were on Earth, you'd know this kind of thing is called a lamp!" I said irritably.
"This is lightosh. You have to shake the fruit and then release it. Wait for the fruit to glow brightly and then touch it" Aeru explained.
I looked at the fruit skeptically then shook the fruit. Funnily enough, I felt the fruit shaking violently in my hand. I was shocked. Reflexively, I let go of my hands and the fruit glowed like a neon light.
"Please touch the fruit" said aeru.
I stared at the fruit. The fruit floated and emitted red light. Will my hands melt when I touch it? For a long time, I just stared at the fruit. Then my forefinger touched the fruit.
As soon as I touched the fruit, red-colored grains floated out of the fruit. The more grains that came out, the dimmer the fruit became until it fell to the ground. The red grains surrounded me and seeped into my body like water seeps into the ground. As soon as the grains entered my body, I felt very energized and warm.
"I feel energized" I said.
Ruru flew around me as if encouraging me while Aeru remained seated while looking at me. Aeru is sitting like a wolf. I would love to get back on his back. I admit, it was one of my best experiences.
"Now what are you going to do?" Aeru asked.
"I'm going to find a way to get back to my world," I answered quickly.
"You need to find the sharkeyance that took you. He's the only one who knows how." Aeru explained.
I snorted at my pajamas. My brain was spinning remembering the crazy events I had experienced. I saw a cat's eyes glow, Ursa Major levitate, I was chased by a giant who had now shrunk down and become my friend and I absorbed food instead of swallowing it. What a strange life!
"You should go to Paravel Bay. There, the sharkeyance live"
"Is there no other way?" I asked in frustration. Asking Ursa Major for help was not one of my most pleasant options. Especially, considering her arrogant face was really annoying.
"Dimensional shields can only be opened by sharkeyance" Aeru explained again.
"So, do you know how to get there?" I asked lazily.
"Yes!" Aeru replied in a polite tone. Seriously?
We walked deeper. The bushes with shining fruit were no longer visible, replaced by trees similar to ginkgo trees but with orange leaves with maroon on the edges. The grass we walked on looked like brown fallen leaves.
I thought it was a dead leaf until I picked up a leaf. The leaf was pinnate in shape but underneath it was a small circular stem about 2 cm long and an actual root.
I think I'm really crazy. I mean, the plants here are so weird. We kept walking until a canyon came into view. From there, we started taking a different route. We walked obliquely against the road with the deciduous plants. Then, Aeru and Ruru stopped right near a lake.I was originally going to sue them. I mean, I wanted to see Ursa Mayor quickly. I wanted to go back to my world. I wanted to return to my cozy room. But, my voice choked up at the sight around me.
The lake looked so blue with a mist as high as 2.5 meters from its surface. Purple and pink dots of light danced in the mist. For a while, I could only stand still watching the scene before me. For a moment, I forgot everything happen before. The scene before me was beautiful and it made me relaxed.
