Ch. 5Chapter 5-House on the Border

This invasion puts Ash at a disadvantage. They bit Ash's arm, and even though the cannibals' teeth weren't strong enough to cut Ash's arm, a bite like that was enough to scratch some of his flesh.

“I have to run faster,” insisted Assassin Romance with the tremendous pain.

“Wow! The meat is really delicious.”
“Hey, share with me, buddy!”
“Me too, bro. Don't be stingy.”

One slice of meat from the Assassin Romance made the three of them stop chasing him. They, the cannibals, have a very sharp smell, and by that smell, they were tempted by the fragrant smell of his blood, which made them fight over his flesh.

“I think it's good enough because they don't pursue it anymore.”

Paradise Village.

Without greeting and knocking on the door, Assassin Romance broke a window that was easier for him to walk through, and he threw the girl's body, which wasn't even dirty at all, into her bed.

“Good night, and be beautiful,” said the man, smiling and leaving.

The house was in the midst of the forest and on the hill, and it was like a boundary between the forest and the city. No one passed through it except his own owner.

After bringing the girl back to her home, the still-injured Assassin Romance can pass through the woods back to the little house.

“Why are your hands?”An old man was sitting in the courtyard and asking the wounded man.

“Insect bites.”Ash replied, walking quietly towards the grandfather.

“You haven't changed since childhood. Okay, come here. I'll treat you.” Grandfather said.

Morning in Paradise Village.

Today, Kety Pery's been really sleepy all night, somehow, but her last drink is just a cup of tea. But is it true that it's just a cup of tea?

When she slowly opened her eyes while still lying quietly in bed, some people from the Paradise Village surrounded him.

“Are you awake? Kety's awake!” Aunt shouted worriedly, then hugged Kety's body, who had woken up.

Some of them have been waiting a long time for Kety to wake up sooner, and now that Kety is awake, it makes the people there come close with pleasure.

“Why am I at home?” asked Kety.

“The kids asked us to check your house immediately, but Kety didn't know anything.”

“The window is open. Did you open it? Oh yeah, where's my mom?”

The people there seemed to be worried that Kety asked where her mother was, even though she herself buried her mother.

“The children said it was open for a long time,”said the aunt, ignoring her question.

“Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that big thing. Thank you for your help all these years, Uncle, Aunt, and others,” said Kety with a sad face. She remembers that her parents are gone.

“We're all there for you. After the bath, visit the garden near the flower yard. There's plenty of food.”

“Yes.” After opening a small window that's still closed, Kety sees a red drop of fluid on the edge of the window, which makes her curious.

“Blood? Blood again?”Kety Pery confirmed the smell and what she thought was true. It was a drop of blood.

Before touching the liquid, Kety Pery can't remember anything, but after touching it, she remembers a little bit.

“Assassin Romance.”

Just the face with the eyes closed. Nothing else she knows except the Assassin Romance, who often wears the eyebrows from that cloth. The girl tried to recall it, but her stomach was starting to shiver. Before leaving for the place, Auntie said she took a shower first.

Paradise Village is a very warm, beautiful, and cool place. It is so clear, this village is the best of everything. Similar to real heaven.
Gardens with green meadows sway when the wind blows. There is a tree in the garden, and under it is a field of flowers.

Beside the trees and flower fields is the place where father and mother are buried.

The view and the place are so beautiful that the residents are comfortable having breakfast together on the green slopes.

“Kety, let's play with me!”
“Come on. It's been a long time since we competed!”
“Huh, I'm the first to tell Kety's sister!”
“Hah? I should be because I'm a man, and a man should be first!”

These two little children intended to invite Kety to play, but because the game they wanted was different, they fought and neither wanted to give up on each other.

“Haha, you guys are too excited to play with me. It's better for you to eat first. I'll decide who's going to play with me first.” Kety laughed a little.

“Not playing, sister! Take a fight with me, one-in-a-range!”said the boy with boldness and enthusiasm.

“Eh, no, no. Kety's sister's going to play with me, not you,” said the girl, hugging Kety's body from the front.

“Yes, but one by one. Well, now, whoever has finished eating first will be the one to play with me first.”

Even Kety Pery can get them to stop fighting with one sentence.

“Kety's going to want to get out of here, right? I already know that, but where do you want to go?” Auntie asked.

Kety doesn't want to tell her about what has happened to him so far, let alone the plan of her departure that the aunt knows today.

“Haha, why would Auntie know something like that? I might go, but not now, and don't worry.”

This aunt and the other inhabitants of the Paradise Village seem very clear that they are worried about Kety.

“After eating, I'll make a little cake for sale.”Kety Pery tried to lighten the atmosphere with a smile that made them smile too.

After breakfast.

“Aunt! I went looking for stuff to make a little cake, yeah.” She lied.

Actually, Kety wanted to go to the town of Dandle to see Ash, but after a long journey, there's no way to the city except the woods.

“Give me protection, God.” Kety Pery mumbled as she started walking into the forest and didn't stop until she was completely safe.

She hid behind one bush after another, looking right to the left, then back and front. She's been doing that all along because she's worried there's something going on.

Feeling safe because of nothing, Kety breathed relief, but a second later, something sounded so clearly behind her.

“That's not my voice!” Kety screamed loudly out of fear.
“Don't be kidding! It's still dusk too! It's not funny!! Ahh!!” Kety cried back.

And she ran as fast as she could, not caring anymore about the strange sound. Stunned by excessive drainage of stamina. Kety's so tired, even though it's said she doesn't care about that voice anymore. Kety was still on guard, always looking back.

“That's terrible!” Her fear grew, so she walked and looked back, and unconsciously, she bumped into something.

“Ouch! What is it?” Kety Pery hit a wall and fell. She grimaced in pain in his forehead.

“Why are you putting on such an expression?” Someone who appeared from behind the wall asked.

Suddenly an old man asked, and when she noticed that the wall she was hitting was the wall of the house, she thought it was his house.

“Then, the old man must know something about what I want to know.” That's what she thought.

“I-I'm sorry, Sir. I was in a hurry because I was chasing something, but, can I ask something?” Ask Kety with a thumb.

The old man nodded and told her to sit on the terrace of the house.

“I'm sorry to bother you, sir. This may be a little strange in your ear, but did you ever hear of a guy who's often called Assassin Romance?”

“I think the unreasonable things are just him, huh! He's inside. Come in,” said the grandfather with a little annoyance. He stepped out of there and brought Kety in with him.

This house is so small and simple that it looks like a house in the village, but this one looks more elegant and natural because it's made of wood without any mixture.

“Um, excuse me.”

The uncle was asleep, his clothes were still the same, and unexpectedly, he still covered his eyes while sleeping.

“Uh, I just wanted to take it off and see his whole face. I'm so curious.” She grumbled a little.
