Ch. 10Chapter 10-A Job

“Cannibals can't be distinguished. They're just like us. Their desires appear when they see a bunch of fresh meat, and some parts of their bodies will sting, such as fangs or claws.”

That's right. That's what Ash once said. Ema shows herself as a cannibal, not a normal human.

“Kety, can I eat you?” asked Ema as she pointed her long nails at Kety's neck.

“You can't do this inside the guild.” Ash was behind Ema, he came suddenly, and his pointed dagger was already at the tip of her veins.

“It turns out you're going to come if I'm going to hurt this woman.”

While Acudan arrived late with his breath still shivering on the threshold of the grand gate of the guild.

“So?”
“He told me.” Ema pointed at someone sitting in the corner of the room.

“Hey! Assassin Romance, kill her!” cried the criminals.

The Assassin Romance's hand moves and strikes Emma's neck without asking, but the little girl is clever enough to get scratched.

“Stop it!” cried Kety to surprise the Assassin Romance, and then he stopped as she said.

Both soldiers and criminals protested Kety's actions.

“It's okay, anyway; isn't it forbidden to fight here?” The Assassin calmed them all.

In the end, they stopped sneering, thanks to the rules in the guild that don't allow fighting here.

“Geez. You still follow that rule, apparently. Well, I've taken it,” said Emma, who went away, taking the hand of the soldier she had cut off.

Luckily, there's someone who handles the wounds of the soldiers when all the turmoil happens.

“Kety, are you all right? Is anyone hurt? If so, show it.” Acudan ran to Kety in panic.
“No, no. I'm fine,” said Kety, starting to worry about something still bothering her.

Then everybody dissolves each other, and Ash goes somewhere locked up inside the guild.

“Your time in custody is likely to be reduced if you kill that sensible cannibal,” said someone in front of Ash.

“I don't think it's possible, because I'm a lifetime prisoner,” he replied without taking off his smiling smile.

“Okay, as you will.”

“I'm sorry to be late,” said Acudan.

“Ah, I shouldn't have stopped it, but I'm...” Kety muttered.

“No, that's the right thing to do, because if it's done, then the owner of this guild won't have to pay us for a month,” said Acudan, who tried to calm Kety's mind.

“I'm so naive just because I'm in the guild. I didn't think that the Cannibal was in this place.” Kety thought, shocked.

How stupid Kety is; if it's like this, it might be hard ahead. And there's the truth, as Ash said at the time, that the cannibals can't be distinguished.

"They're humans, and we're human beings who kill each other. I've never thought of this before."

That's normal, because before, Kety thought those who had eaten here father and mother were monsters.

But unlikely, the little Ema became a cannibal. Kety's been so close to her that the warrior's condition is losing one of his precious hands.

Ema's desire was evident in her long nails at the time. She's starting to understand something.

“After the soldier's hand was cut and Ema spoke, she didn't scratched her backhand. I'm sure there's something.”

Although Kety was very surprised, she was still thinking in her state of mind. Kety wondered who could tell us more about the Dark Night.

“But it's hard for me to trust foreigners.” Kety is whispering.

“Acu, where have you been? I was worried,” asked Kety to start the conversation to distract from the thought that made her dizzy.

“Ah, em. I can't tell you this because it's a secret,” replied Acudan, turning his face from Kety's face a little embarrassed.

“Acu, are you all right?” asked Kety again.

“Eh, ah, I... I want to go to the bathroom for a moment.” Acudan was nervous when he wanted to say something, and he turned his face away from Kety because he was a little embarrassed.

“Eh? His face is so red. Is it because of the heat?” She thought.

Meanwhile, the man who managed to escape from Kety.

“That's bad! I should've said it at the same time. There's only a little left. Well, at least don't get ahead of that damn Assassin,” Acudan grumbled to himself.

“Where else? If you can't do it now, the flowers might wilt.”

Heavy step approaching Acudan while mirroring in front of the glass.

“Hey you! Just interrupt! Get out of the way quickly!” Ash yelled loudly.

“Why are you here?” asked Acudan, who put his face on.

“This is a toilet. Why are you asking?”

“Huh, oh yeah, I have an appointment today.”

“I'll marry her. So you don't have to rush like that, Acudan,” replied Ash with his cunning smile.

"What!? Wouldn't she know that I haven't given her these flowers yet?" Acudan thought as he tightly grasped a flower stalk in his pocket.

“Don't worry. You don't know who's going to win. Let's see,” said Acudan confidently.

“With the ugly flowers that are in your pocket?”

The Assassin Romance made Acudan stop walking because he was detected.

“What?! What's your problem?" Accudan cried annoyingly.

Ash laughed at getting Acudan, who was still an amateur.

“Only boys are afraid. The beauty girl will choose me as handsome and masculine as I am, haha,” said Ash proudly and gracefully while styling in front of the glass like a crazy man.

***

“Oh my gosh! They left me again. Even though I'm scared like this. Plus, this place is too big and a bit awful,” said Kety, whispering.

Not long after. Kety saw Acudan from a distance and then called him, waving her hand to tell him to come over.

“Acu!”

Those who heard the call also looked at the source of the voice. They thought the nickname was so cute. Then Acudan, who had just gotten out of the bathroom, was surprised when he was called. With his heart beating irregularly, Acudan turned his face once more and went away steadily.

“Acu, what are you doing? I called you, but you won't answer me.” Kety's got to chase Acudan and pull his arm.

“Oh, girl! I'm sorry I was late to help you,” said the Assassin Romance, eagerly approaching Kety from behind.

Ash just happens to show up. A very perfect scene for Acudan; right now he's putting his arrogant face toward Ash.

It seems very clear that the position between Acudan and Kety is very close, and managed to make the Assassin scratch his teeth.

Acudan can be arrogant when showing unintentional affection, but he is weak when dealing directly with Kety.

“Acu!” cried Kety again, Kety didn't listen to anything Ash said, and it made Ash fall helpless because he felt he had been ignored.

“Eh, Kety! That's... I-follow, come with me for a moment.” Fighting his nervousness, Acudan whispered in Kety's ear.

But before leaving the helpless man, Acudan mocked him once again with an annoying jerk and face. It's more like Acudan's saying, "I'm the winner!"

After that the problem was indirectly resolved. They're all three standing on a wide board where there's a request for anything from the client.

Immediately they sought a simple request, and their eyes looked toward a sign, which said, "Help me, my son."

“I'm sure it's easy,” said Ash confidently.

“I agree.” Acudan agreed.“Yes,” said Kety.

***

Arriving at the client's house, a woman who claimed to have written the request promptly ordered the three of them to enter her residence.

The woman has a son without a father, and she claims her own son is crazy lately.

“Sorry if this is rude. If you are, why don't you check his condition at the hospital?” asked Acudan, giving another route.

“Impossible. it's going to be hard for a doctor to deal with,” said the mother softly with her eyes tired.
