Bab 20

"Let me help you!" Adipati remained firm on his stance. I don't know why he was suddenly strange.

"No need. I can send-"

Too late. Septi didn't have time to finish her sentence because vomit was already coming out of her mouth.

Adipati who was positioned in front of Septi could only surrender as the liquid sprayed out on the front of her formal wear.

“Oh my goodness, Septiii!”

The Duke immediately terrified. This was the duke's first encounter with such a horrible item.
"Don't blame me, that's what happens when you don't listen to what others have to say!" Septi did not feel guilty at all. She stepped inside the restroom, hobbling and resting her foot on the IV pole.
"Damn that person." "Heart for heart!" cursed the duke. He was compelled to remove his clothing, which were soaked in Septi's vomit.

"I need to call Sonya." Adipati responded, "Let her come here and bring me a change of clothes." He then reached into his jeans pocket for his cellphone.

Adipati frowned. His cell phone wasn't there. "Oh dear, I must have left it at the office," Adipati said, patting himself lightly on the forehead.
Adipati remembered that he had panicked when Septi hadn't had time to pack her cell phone, which had been left on the desk.
"What a hassle," Adipati complained, sitting back on the sofa, resigned to his situation.
From the bathroom, Adipati could hear Septi continuing to vomit. Fearing that Septi might pass out again due to the amount of fluid she was vomiting, she got up. Without permission, she stormed into the bathroom.
"What are you doing in here?" asked Septi, who had just finished rinsing her mouth. She was shocked.
"I wanted to make sure you were okay," Adipati replied casually. He approached Septi.
"Don't come any closer, I'm not well when I'm near you!" sneered Septi, who blamed Adipati for the coffee incident.
Reflexively, Septi's eyebrows met when she noticed that Adipati was shirtless. Seeing that made Septi feel all wrong and a little nervous.
Adipati's body was indeed ideal. Tall, light-skinned, with a broad chest and a checkered belly, he had the added advantage of being handsome.

"I have good intentions, why are they always misinterpreted by Septi Adelia?" growled Adipati. "If I'm not the one who takes care of you and keeps you company here, then who is?" said Adipati to Septi's face. It felt as if Adipati wanted to slap this woman, who was allergic to black coffee, on the forehead.
"It's good that you want to. And again, you don't need to bother. Gerry will always be there for me," quipped Septi, who had finished cleaning up. She brushed past Adipati. Septi stopped in front of the bathroom door before stepping out. "Oh, yes. I'm going home now! Please take care of the administration after this," Septi pleaded, making Adipati smile mockingly. He quickly washed his hands and immediately approached Septi.
"Who are you to tell me what to do, huh?" Adipati said in a mocking voice. He didn't mean that Septi had always refused his help, so now was the perfect time for Adipati to answer Septi.
"I'm a nobody, so forget it. Pretend I never told you anything! There's Gerry, he'll take care of everything later," Septi replied indifferently. The words of Adipati, who was indeed a nobody, did not affect her at all. The two of them were just two strangers who didn't know each other at first, trapped in a marital status.
Adipati had not expected the woman before him, who still looked weak, to say such things. At first, Adip thought Septi would continue to whine and ask for his help. It turned out that he was wrong.
"It's good that you're self-confident," Adipati finally said. She didn't want to look like she lost her words in front of Septi.
Septi shrugged. Indifferent to the words of the man she had met only two days ago, but who had already changed her life drastically.
Sonya was restless. She paced back and forth in the hotel room, holding her telephone. I'm not sure how many times she tried to reach her spouse, but he didn't answer. She had also sent numerous chat messages. However, there was no reply.
"Where are you, Dip?" Sonya complained. She was tired of imagining him alone with Septi, the village woman who was actually her husband's first wife.
Despite knowing he exclusively loved her, Sonya feared he would make a mistake at once. Sonya, who had grown impatient with waiting for Adipati, ultimately decided to meet her husband at the office.
The woman, who was wearing a maroon little dress, took her tiny suitcase and swiftly departed the hotel for the Andreas Company Group.
Septi was back in bed, one hand free from the IV and playing with her cellphone. She planned to phone Gerry and ask him to come to the hospital.
Hufttt!

Septi expelled her breath harshly. She had intended to contact Gerry, but had canceled. It was nothing. Septi remembered Gerry's hectic schedule and how she had to deliver the items to the resellers. The market demand was soaring. Septi was certain Gerry was overwhelmed just now. Furthermore, there was no one to assist her at the time.
So, how could Septi add to the burden of the man she loved so much?
[Are you home yet, Honey?]
A chat message arrived on her cell phone. Gerry had sent Septi a message.

Septi smiled. Gerry had sent her a message earlier. It was generally around this time of day that the two of them would meet for lunch at a warteg to which they both subscribed.
[Not yet, Darling.]
[What were you doing there?]
This was a trick question. At least that's what Septi believed. She wasn't sure how to respond.

Should she inform him that she is currently in the hospital, and that she is now being utilized by Mr. Andreas as his son's personal assistant, who happens to be her husband?

He claimed he was bored right now.
[Don't; I'm too lazy to go anywhere.]
[Okay, fine!]

Gerry's final comment before vanishing with a purposefully deleted phone number. Septi could only surrender. She knew Gerry was angry with her right now.
"You've been chatting since earlier!" Adipati cynically asked who had been surreptitiously studying Septi all this time. Septi's fluctuating facial expressions while reading the letters worried Adipati significantly.
"Yes, obviously!" Septi responded nonchalantly.
"Where is he? You said you wanted Gorry's help with the administration so you could go home today," Adipati asked regarding Gerry's location.

"Gerry! Not Gorry. With an A and not an O! "Do you understand, Mr. Adipati Prawira?" Septi snapped, annoyed that Adipati mispronounced Gerry's name.
Adipati laughed. This man, who was still comfortable being shirtless, appeared to have recently understood Septi could be adorable.
"Your jokes are not bad!"
