"Break up?"
Gerry repeated what Septi just said. He thought his girlfriend was joked around for sure. There's no way she asks for a break-up so suddenly. And yet their relationship is just good this far.
"Yes, break up. I want us to finish this relationship over, Gerry Yohanes!" said Septi firmly. But, she can't help but show up her sadness on her face. Her eyes started filling up with tears like the overcast ready to burst off their rain into the earth. Septi have to say this all even she didn't want to.
Thump!
Gerry's heart rushed uncontrolled when Septi repeated her word. This time he realizes that his beloved one not joking around. She was so damn serious. But what's the problem? Why so sudden? Wasn't it just yesterday they promised to retain the relationship no matter what. They had also intended to fight together to start their business from the ground.
"Why do you want us to over so suddenly, honey? Did I do something wrong?" asked Gerry with his soft tone. He stared right into Septi's eyes that filled with tears already. He can feel the sorrow inside.
Hearing Gerry's question made Septi can't hold back her tears. A second after, she burst into tears. She shed the sadness she had been trying to bear for so long. "You have done nothing wrong. This all my fault!" said Septi sobbing. Gerry can't take her words clearly because of that.
Seeing his beloved one crying, Gerry embraced her quickly. He wants to give a composure so that his lover felt better. "It's okay. Don't cry. You know that I can't watch you cry. Tell me what happened?" said Gerry. A second after he kissed both of Septi's eyes that swollen.
"My father arranged me with Mr. Andreas's son! Father told that all his debts will be settled and his life is guaranteed by them if I want to marry their son," said Septi, spoke up her problems. She hold onto Gerry tightly as she searched for refuge. "Dad does not pity me!" she continued her complaint.
Gerry clenched his fists straight away. He was mad, of course, he wouldn't let it if his dearest woman got arranged and made her pressured. But Gerry knows his place. For now, he can't prevent any of that happens. How can he promise Septi's dad the same thing? His business is just begun.
"Do you accept that decision?" Gerry asked as he put his palm together on his girl's face so that she looks at him.
"Actually I didn't want to, Gerry. But I don't have another option. Dad was decided that!" said Septi still sobbing.
Gerry breathe in and sighed. He wiped a trail of tears on Septi's cheeks, and then he smiled. "Do that if that is the best way, dear. Don't you worry about me. But, don't forbid me from continuing loving you and think as you are still mine! I don't want us to be over!" said Gerry firmly.
"Gerry. I love you! But is that okay if someone is married yet still running a relationship with another guy?" Septi scream out. Fortunately, they two were on the beach. So, no need to worrying anything if they want to shout.
"Of course you can because didn't want this marriage," answered Gerry quickly. "You need to remember that even you have married, I will always love you. You and I are us. Nobody can change that even it's your married title!" explained Gerry, still trying to calm down in front of Septi. He stoked Septi's hair gently.
"One week later I will get married. Honestly, I don't wanna that to happen," whined Septi out of her soul.
"I will come to your marriage!" said Garry as if nothing is holding him back.
"Are you insane? Don't act crazy!" replied Septi. She has no idea what's on Gerry's mind. If she had been in Gerry's shoes right now, of course, she won't be able to.
"It's okay. Just tell your father that our relationship is over. We break up. But that is just applicable in front of father and them who are wanted separate us. Keep that on your mind!" noted Gerry as he pinched Septi's straight nose. He was tried to break the tension.
"But--"
"No more excuses, dear! Go back home and tell your dad that we are over!" ordered Gerry when he stroked Septi's lips. Gerry is indisputable.
"Okay. I'll head home now!"
Finally, Septi obliged. She drove her motorcycle because she and Garry went up separately to this beach. Gerry kept looking after Septi until she was not in her eyesight anymore.
"I will prove you, Mr. Andreas! That I can take back what I and my family should belong to! You have been captured my family owns yet you still wanna take my girlfriend that you will marry her with your son! What an incredible person. Let's see what will happen!" shouted Gerry, throwing up all his anger that filled his chest.
His wealth. His girlfriend. Was captured by his family's enemy. Animus, no wonder. But Gerry will let that marriage happen. Because after that there would be a grand plan that surely makes him, Septi, and his family live happily. Gerry made sure of that.
The little Gerry that was innocent and decile had turned into a tough one and had a lot of plans to get back what was rightfully his.
That's why Gerry didn't mind when his parents chose to return to Germany and asked him to stay in Jakarta.
Septi got off his motorcycle. She quickly removed the bogo helmet that covered her head. His brow furrowed as she saw three elegant cars parked on the sidewalk in front of her narrow house.
She can see two big men in black suits standing in front of her house.
Instantly Septi sighed away violently. She realized that kg was Mr. Andreas who come to her house.
"I'm home," she retorted after passing two bodyguards who looked at her with fury.
Shortly Adan stood up after he saw his daughter home. It's been a while he impatiently waited for Septi to return.
"How was that, dear?" asked Adan so excited.
"Done! Are you happy now?" answered Septi bitterly.
It doesn't matter if Mr. Andreas and his wife, Maria, watching her.
"I'm sure Adipati will be happy to have a bride, a woman as beautiful as Septi," Andreas whispered into Maria's ear.
"Happy or not is Adipati business. He has no right to deny what we, his parents have decided. If he dares to disobey, all the facilities he has will be banned!" Andreas's wife was more assertive than her husband.
No one can mess up what she says. If she says 'a,' that must be 'a'. If she says dead, that must be dead.
