Ch. 11Chapter 11

"Where is he now! I want to see him!" Gerry outraged, blurted into Septi's hotel room as soon as he went to see Adipati.

Gerry, who doesn't know that Septi was all alone in a hotel room, immediately looks for Adipati. This succeeded in making Septi confused about what to say.

Gerry doesn't care if he would call rude. For him right now all that matters is to meet that fucking guy and ask him to leave Septi because that woman is belongs to him. His beloved woman. Septi should be his wife, not someone else's wife.

Septi still followed Gerry's footsteps without saying he's not in the hotel room with her.

It would be useless for Septi to say that because certainly that her boyfriend would not believe her and thought that she was lying. It was a mistake not to talk about this problem from the start.

"Where is your husband? Why is she nowhere?" asked Gerry, who was content to walk around in a suite room of the hotels. No room is spared from his moorings. But the man wasn't there.

"He's not here," Septi replied honestly. She chose to be honest. It seemed like it would be useless if he lied. Gerry had the right to know what was really going on.

Gerry furrowed his brow. He glimpsed at Septi, assuring that his beautiful woman wasn't lying right now.

As if she understands at that probing stare of Gerry, Septi snorts. "Why, are you gonna tell me that I'm lying? You do not believe me?" September is angry. He who is not feeling well is easily carried away by his feelings.

"No! I just want to know where in the world that fucking guy is. Did he leave you alone on the night you were supposed to be together?" Gerry asked inquiries. Gerry immediately believed that something was wrong. Especially when he looks at his dead girlfriend's face. Gerry believes she has been crying because of that guy. Gerry clenched his fists. She doesn't accept it if her lover hurts her, especially if it's her husband. Even though he knew very well that their marriage was an arranged marriage.

"What's so important that you know about my problems. Don't you care about me anymore?" Septi didn't answer Gerry's questions instantly. She chose to push him away because she got annoyed when she recalled his lie, "all men are the same!" he continued pushing Gerry away from him.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Septi Adelia! You're the second most important woman in my life after my Mom!" Gerry answered very seriously, “I won't let him hurt you!" Gerry took Septi's hand and kissed it.

"If I'm important to you, why did you lie to me? You said you wanted to come to the wedding this afternoon, but you didn't! It's that how you named important?" Septi asked, starting to get emotional. "Did you know I was waiting for you. I was looking for you. I was very, very confused. I needed you Gerry. But in fact you didn't care about that.”

Gerry smiled as he saw septi bring down all kinds of accusations. He came to realize that his beloved woman still loved him dearly, nothing has changed. He was really happy to realize that.

Gerry walked up to Septi who was standing half a yard from him. He had stayed came closer until they were now thirty centimeters away.

"How do you know I'm not coming to that damned wedding, Honey?" Gerry asked her in a soft but firm voice. He rubbed on both Septi's arms.

"Me!" answered Septi curt.

"Why do you think like that?" Gerry asked again.

"Because I didn't see you there. You know, to be honest, I was pretty upset. I don't like being lied to, Gerry!" shouted Septi as she blew her anger off.

Without another word, Gerry hugged Septi's body tightly. He carried the crown of Septi's head affectionately.

Septi didn't refuse at all. She needed a hug from Gerry to relax herself. She's in too much pain today. Really, only Gerry and his hugs could make her feel calm.

"I was coming, Honey. I was there watching the whole thing. I just can't afford to see you hooking up with another guy. No matter how hard I try, I still can't. So I chose to leave without seeing you earlier," said Gerry in a husky voice. A single tear slipped again. But Gerry started to rub it in, didn't want Septi to know he was crying.

Listening to Gerry's words, Septi finally realized that she's biased. Instantly she felt selfish who only cared about her feelings. She seemed unaware of the fact that her lovers were also devastated and injured by her marriage.

Septi hugged Gerry's body right back. She cried out instantly realizing her stupidity. He was really very sorry.

"I'm sorry for accusing you of anything I want without thinking about your feelings, Gerry!" she blurted in her short breathe. She cried as if she were giving off her sorrow.

"You didn't do anything wrong, Honey! I'm the wrong one." Gerry carved out his embrace. Wiped away the trail of tears on his beloved one cheek too. Truly Gerry hated to see Septi crying.

"I was wrong. I'm sorry!" Septi said, keep apologizing to Gerry. Even though he knew Gerry didn't mind it anymore.

Gerry smiled. His woman was very stubborn even though she looked very quiet to someone who didn't know her. In fact, Septi is a very pleasant woman which every time always succeeded in making him feel even more in love.

"Alright. We were both wrong. So, we forgive each other. No more misunderstandings between the two of us. Whatever it is we have to be honest with each other, no cover-up! Wouldn't you agree, Honey?" Gerry repeated, asking for Septi's opinion.

"Alright, I agree," Septi said as if she was starting to feel better. She started to smile very sweetly and that made Gerry feel very excited.
