Tonight, Indra lay in her rented bed with several things occupying her mind. How could he not? After returning from Anggoro's company office, he couldn't stop thinking about several things related to today's events.
Indra seemed unable to do anything when Anggoro told him to immediately marry his only daughter because he had already admitted that he was the one who impregnated Dinda. Indra couldn't even forget how Anggoro reacted when he learnt the truth.
Indra then chuckled and muttered, "Huft! What are you doing, Indra!? Do we have the courage to admit what you didn't do?"
Yes! It was all running through his brain and he couldn't help it. Because his mind was divided with the fate of his mother in the village who needed a lot of money for her treatment. It was his current goal to throw himself into the deep end for money.
"Tsk! What dream did I have to deal with them?" he grumbled as he looked up at the ceiling of his room, "Never mind... I'd better get some sleep."
Indra then fixed his position by sleeping on his side, trying to close his eyes and fall asleep. But damn! His brain and eyes were not on the same page as the thoughts did not want to leave and even lingered in his brain, making him restless.
He coughed again and got up from the bed, "Oh my!!! If this keeps up, I might not be able to sleep tomorrow."
Indra then looked at the wall clock installed in the room that was so simple and far from luxurious, "It's almost midnight ... " he muttered again then got up from his bed and walked out.
Instantly, the cold midnight air pierced into his bones. But it didn't bother him too much because for a moment he was able to refresh his mind that felt tangled up like a tangled ball.
Slowly the man sat on the brick barrier and leaned against the wall, taking a deep breath as he closed his eyes. Started to feel the cold air entering his nasal cavity
Fresh though cold...
Then for a moment the man was silent, looking up at the night sky dotted with stars. Together with that, the wrinkles on his forehead began to form until they were clearly visible.
"Did I make the right decision? What about the rest of my life?"
Yes! That question immediately came to his mind, because it was the decision that would change his life later. Especially when Anggoro mentioned that he had to leave his world of simplicity and would be living a luxurious life with Dinda and her future child.
Indirectly, it managed to make him feel even more burdened, especially since Indra had absolutely no experience in anything including managing a large company like his future in-laws.
"Argh! This is suicide! What will my mum and little sister say?"
If Indra was troubled by the wedding plan, so was Dinda who was currently lying on her bed accompanied by a dim lamp. The woman couldn't stop thinking about the things that would happen in the future.
Dinda then changed her position to the right side, staring at her sleeping lamp that continued to burn, for a moment her mind was thrown on the figure of the man who would become her husband later. She unconsciously let out a small grin on her sweet face.
"Come to think of it ... Indra is cute too, huh," she murmured with her mind drifting, "Especially when I saw him confused in the car earlier."
Naturally, Dinda had a strange feeling that then enveloped her heart and mind. How could she not? Her meeting with Indra was indeed very brief and fairly sudden, but don't feelings always come suddenly anyway?
The next day, Dinda woke up in a light and happy mood. But that mood began to be disturbed by a strange smell that pierced her nasal cavity, making the nausea strike again.
Hoek!
Hoek!
"Oh my! Not again..." she whined while clutching her stomach.
However, that would not discourage her anymore or even make her give up, Dinda then tried to strengthen herself and tried to ignore the nausea as she got ready with her neat clothes.
The woman looked at herself through the large mirror mounted on the wall of her room, her gaze dropped to her stomach which she stroked, "Be strong, kiddo! We can do it... come with Mummy to work."
After she finished, Dinda picked up her work bag and walked out of the room, the unpleasant smell coming from the direction of the kitchen was again smelled, requiring her to cover her nose.
"Oh my! What did Auntie cook that it smells like this!?" she grumbled as she rushed down the stairs to the dining room.
There, Anggoro was ready with the breakfast menu in front of him. The man seemed surprised to see Dinda's arrival, who seemed to be covering her nose and walking a little staggered.
Anggoro got up and quickly asked, "What's wrong with you, Honey? Is something wrong!?"
But Dinda shook her head and tried to sit on the dining table chair, "No, Pa. Just a bit nauseous."
"Tsk! Why do you have to go downstairs and... do you want to work!?" Anggoro's gaze was fixed on Dinda's neat appearance while carrying her work bag.
Dinda nodded her head and replied, "I'm bored if I have to stay at home, Pa. I want to work, after all, the office people have to handle my work."
Even so, Anggoro still felt worried about Dinda's condition, especially her weak pregnancy. He didn't want anything to happen to her. But again, Dinda pulled out her signature move of pleading with a face that could make Anggoro melt.
"Come on, Pa ... I won't do anything. Just sit in my chair," Dinda pleaded.
Anggoro grunted in annoyance and replied, "Okay. But Papa will still ask Papa's secretary to help later."
Dinda grinned and cheered enthusiastically until the two of them started eating the breakfast menu, although Dinda seemed to be struggling a little because the nausea sometimes bothered her. But in the middle of it...
"Ah! Yeah, Dinda. About your future husband... please invite him and his parents to dinner here. Let's talk about your wedding plans as well."
Bathump!!!
Dinda gasped when she heard her father's request which was completely out of her expectation. Her eyes rounded perfectly with strange thoughts starting to emerge.
"Dinner? With Indra's parents!?" she muttered to herself, "H-how can this be!?"
The situation suddenly changed, just now Dinda felt relieved with one problem solved. Now she had to rack her brains and tell Indra about her father's request.
Yes! Dinda's anxiety lasted long enough to arrive at the office and continued when lunch time arrived. Without lingering any longer, the woman immediately tidied up her desk and went to meet Indra at his workplace. Fortunately, the man in the janitor's uniform was walking on the sidewalk with his colleagues.
"Ah! There he is!" Dinda quickly got out of the taxi and walked quickly to Indra.
"Come with me!"
Dinda suddenly grabbed Indra's hand and dragged him away from his colleagues without saying anything, making Indra feel so surprised.
"E-eh!? What's going on, Lady!?"
