Ch. 6Same place

Whatever how long Dinda just stayed in her room with only quiet company, her mind completely uncompromising even though she tried not to think too much about strange things.

Yes! She had tried various ways to calm her mind, whether it was watching television, listening to music, reading her favourite novels, or looking at nice things through e-commers. But all of that was fruitless because until now, some of those thoughts kept dancing around and didn't want to leave.

"Tsk! I think I really need to get out of the house," she mumbled while tapping a finger on her chin, "I'm also worried because Papa must have told his men to find a boy who is close to me."

Dinda fell silent again, with her anxiety constantly bothering her. Until something suddenly occurred to her at this time.

"Should I look for Kevin again? Maybe he'll change his mind," she wondered, but the next second she was shaking her head in a quick motion, "Nope... that would be suicide all over again. It's obvious he's already dumped me and doesn't care about my baby."

Then Dinda chuckled, remembering the incident a few days ago when she caught Kevin making love to his best friend's mistress, Bianca. It made her resentment rise again.

"I really can't understand how they can cheat on me in front of my own eyes."

Finally... Dinda could only mourn her fate, but this was not the time to mourn because there were important things she had to do for her future, as well as for her father who might be in the act of mobilising all his men to find the man who had planted the seed in her and then left.

Dinda then shook her head trying to control herself, "Stop, Dinda! You have to think and find a way out."

"Ah! Should I just pay someone to be my husband?" she muttered again as if she got a good idea.

Was it the right suggestion? I don't know ... but the woman seemed to have made up her mind so she quickly got ready with a bag containing her mobile phone and wallet and headed out after ordering an online taxi.

"I hope this is the best and doesn't make papa suspicious, because there's no way I'm going to beg Kevin not to leave me, I'll just get stomped on by them," she muttered as she walked and entered the taxi that was already standing by at her gate.

However, in her eagerness... she missed something just as the driver asked, "Where are you going, Lady?"

Yes! It turned out that the woman was leaving without a clear and well-thought-out destination and plan. The driver's question succeeded in making her pause for a moment.

With a slight stammer Dinda replied, "A-ah! We... to..." Her words stopped for a moment trying to think briefly, "Just walk first, sir. I'm also waiting for my friend's reply," she replied.

All of that of course was just nonsense, Dinda was forced to lie because at the moment she didn't know her destination at all.

Her eyes then narrowed, "But... where should I look!?"

Whether this was ridiculous or a misfortune, Dinda felt ridiculous about her own behaviour because she felt so pressured by the situation that was currently suffocating her. She then tried to remain calm as she continued to think about something as the taxi travelled.

Dinda thought long enough about her destination that the taxi driver asked her several times about their destination, which became increasingly unclear. But Dinda always replied with, "Just go forward, sir."

Although she complied, the driver was a little surprised, especially by the behaviour of his passenger, who seemed confused about the journey. How could she not be? Dinda now kept thinking about what she should do. Until finally she thought of something...

"Let's just go to the Luxury Apartment, sir!" she said suddenly.

Elsewhere, Anggoro, who was still anxious about his son despite being busy with his company's various files, was startled by the sound of a slightly loud knock on the door. The man raised his head and then replied, "Come in!"

From the doorway a tall man in a black suit rushed over to the chairman's desk.

"I hope you have some interesting news," said Anggoro in a cold tone.

Yes, it was Dito, the man who had been assigned by Anggoro to find out about the man who was getting close to his daughter. Dito bowed his body in respect before finally reporting back.

"I just got news about a man who is allegedly the lover of the young lady, sir."

"What!?" Anggoro looked so flabbergasted that the hand that was fiddling with the computer stopped instantly, "Where is that coward!? I'll go myself even if it means sacrificing my precious time."

"Ah! Am I wrong for coming to a place like this again?" Dinda asked herself.

Yes? For some reason, her steps led her back to the place where she had been dumped by her own lover unconscious. The woman was still standing in front of her ex-boyfriend's apartment building and stared at him for a long time.

"I was always excited when I came here, but now... it hurts so much."

Slowly... Dinda walked away even though her feelings were all over the place, whether she wanted to beg Kevin again to come back to her and acknowledge the foetus in her womb, or whatever it was, Dinda had no idea.

Just arriving at the main lobby, the woman stopped and circulated her gaze trying to master herself and her feelings. But her gaze immediately stopped and fell on the figure of a tall, brown-skinned man wearing a janitor's uniform.

"Isn't he... Indra?" Dinda narrowed her eyes, trying to clarify her vision until a small smirk appeared on her face.

Without thinking, Dinda immediately continued her steps towards the figure who had saved her.

Indra who was busy cleaning the window glass suddenly ...

"Be clean, okay! Your boss will be angry."

Indra was surprised and turned her body around, her eyes immediately widened to see the beautiful woman she had met in the lift in an unconscious condition.

"Ah! Dinda," he greeted and put down his cleaning equipment.

The two then exchanged greetings, for some reason Dinda's face looked radiant throughout the conversation with the man. She did not even hesitate to invite Indra to have lunch together even though Indra himself tried to refuse.

"I'll see you later. I haven't finished my work yet," Indra replied.

"Halah ... you don't have to refuse much, just think of it as a reward for your kindness in helping me."

Dinda reflexively pulled Indra's hand without hearing the man's reasons for leaving the building. But who would have thought that this unintentional togetherness would have been witnessed by someone from afar.
