Ch. 5find that guy!

Anggoro was silent, not really responding to Dinda's reaction, who now seemed worried about what he had said a few moments ago. Instead, he was engrossed in cutting his jam bread and eating it slowly.

With his mouth still busy chewing, Anggoro asked again, "Was what Papa said unclear?"

No kidding! Now it was Dinda's turn to remain silent as Anggoro's words sounded stern and cold. Even the look in his eyes looked so sinister as if he held a grudge.

Yes! The breakfast atmosphere that should have been filled with excitement had suddenly turned dark and tense. The sky outside was bright and fresh, but not the atmosphere inside Anggoro Wijaya's residence. Both of them were silent and busy with their own thoughts.

Until Anggoro finally reached for his coffee cup and savoured it slowly.

"So... who's the child's father?" he asked suddenly, "Tell Papa."

Short and straightforward, yet sounding so sarcastic and cynical. Anggoro looked at his favourite son now with an angry yet restrained gaze.

As for Dinda? Instead of answering, she remained silent without any reaction other than with her eyes wide open, hearing some of the facts that her father already knew. Seeing Dinda's expression, Anggoro stopped his activities and began to fix his seat until he was in a serious-looking position.

Frowning, the middle-aged man said again, "Dinda? Aren't you going to answer Papa's question?"

"A-ah!" Dinda then exhaled a breath that felt very heavy, her eyes blinked for a while, she seemed to be trying to master her mind that had begun to be chaotic.

"How is this!? I obviously can't say that Kevin is the one while he doesn't want to see my face anymore," she thought.

However, before she could explain her situation... Anggoro said, "Alright, Papa won't ask many more questions. Papa just wants you to meet the man and bring him to Papi."

"Papa will marry you soon," Anggoro continued.

"W-what!? M-marry?"

Dinda gasped with her eyes perfectly rounded as if she was about to jump, but Anggoro casually nodded his head and replied, "Yes, so what? Doesn't he want to take responsibility?"

Speachless!!!

Anggoro was truly like a psychic who easily knew everything without any explanation. Even he seemed to already know Dinda's current situation.

"Ah! Or should Papa just kill him altogether? For having the audacity to impregnate Papa's daughter and then just leave?" Anggoro emphasised his every word with a look as if he really wanted to eliminate someone.

Dinda, who was currently in an awkward position, tried to control the situation even though it was very difficult for her. How could it not be? She certainly couldn't say who it was, because if Anggoro knew that Kevin was the one who impregnated her, then there would be no forgiveness for the man, and Kevin might not even be able to open his eyes again.

Slowly, it wasn't words that came out of the woman's mouth but tears that flowed so freely that they were unbearable. Yes! Dinda was now sobbing in front of her own father. It made Anggoro and his anger that had been raging slowly faded away.

"Haahhhh... "

Anggoro exhaled a rough breath trying to control his feelings, he got up from his seat then approached his daughter and hugged her tightly. His tears seemed to be about to fall and flow profusely but what power? The man chose to hold them back as hard as he could.

Yes! Anggoro certainly wouldn't show his sadness in front of his own child, he had to be strong and strengthen Dinda who was now crying her eyes out.

"Forgive Papa, Honey. I thought everything was fine after your mother's departure, but in fact? Papa failed to take care of you even from everything..." Anggoro's heart felt so guilty for his daughter, as well as for his late wife who had left them earlier.

The man kept rubbing his son's head, trying to calm him down despite his fragility.

"Already, Honey. It's ... it's okay ... let's face it, Papa is there for you," he said with a slight stammer.

Feeling that he did not want to be dragged into a situation full of sadness, Anggoro finally released his embrace with a warm smile mixed with sadness. He also brushed away Dinda's tears, which had been flowing relentlessly.

"Papa is leaving for the office first! You just stay at home and rest a lot," Anggoro said softly, "That question ... let's think about it later."

Dinda, who didn't have much to say, could only sigh and nod even though she was very ashamed of herself and her father. As Anggoro walked away with his briefcase, Dinda remained silent in her seat staring at her father's back as he walked away and out of sight.

Likewise, Anggoro continued to walk out of the large luxury house, entering his car that was waiting for him with Hasan, his personal driver. He closed the car door roughly and leaned his head back while closing his eyes.

Huft...

The long sigh was a sign that she was very tired. Yes! Tired of pretending to be fine in front of his own son even though the anger that had been building up kept pushing at him.

Throughout the journey the middle-aged man just stayed in the back seat of his black saloon car, looking out the window scrutinising every place he passed with strange thoughts enveloping him, until they arrived at the Office.

Anggoro threw his briefcase right on the desk, causing several files on it to shift and fall. His anger was now unbearable.

"Damn man! How dare he impregnate my daughter!" he ranted angrily. He then turned to Dito, the secretary who was already on standby in her room, "We have to find him quickly."

His breathing was now ragged, following his desire to eliminate someone. How could he not? Anggoro kept remembering the words of the doctor who had treated Dinda at the hospital, who had said that Dinda's pregnancy was now approximately two months old. That's when his world seemed to collapse! Anggoro felt very angry, although in the end he decided to hold it in front of Dinda because he didn't want to prolong the problem of her pregnancy.

"I don't want to know," he said as he fixed his tie that looked a little messy, "Immediately send someone to find out who the man who is close to my daughter is, we will find out who that cowardly man is."

"If necessary, watch her every move and follow Dinda, she will definitely meet that man."

Dito nodded and replied, "Yes, sir!"

"Please do it well, I don't want it to be too late," he ordered, "Watch carefully and report back to me."

Anggoro then turned his body around and walked towards the window, staring out the window with his hands tucked into his trouser pockets, "Until I get that coward and I won't let him live happily after dumping my daughter."
