"What did you say!?"
Indra was surprised to hear Sonia's words about Dinda giving him some money. His eyes widened for a moment, reflecting confusion and astonishment, trying to understand the meaning of Sonia's words.
Sonia simply nodded with a mysterious smile. "Yes, she gave you money to be her husband? And to help you in times of trouble."
Indra was silent for a moment. How did the girl know that fact?
"Did she hear everything?" Indra wondered.
Feeling the situation getting weirder—Indra's not denying it—made Sonia even more convinced that everything she heard was true.
"Hmm... I really can't get over you, Indra. I can do that for you too," Sonia said confidently.
Indra had mixed feelings. In his astonishment, Indra tried to evaluate the relationship between them, looking for answers to this unexpected act.
"Thank you, but you don't have to do anything for me anymore, especially since we are no longer in a relationship," Indra said. "So please stay out of my business with Dinda. I want to handle it myself."
"Ah! So that's..." Sonia didn't seem to be listening and instead surmised something.
Sonia sarcastically said, "You must be worried about this matter going public, right?" She smiled slyly, creating tension in the conversation.
"Don't try to think of anything and go back to the village," Indra said coldly.
Yes! Indra felt increasingly trapped in a complicated situation. On the one hand, he didn't want his affair with Dinda to become a topic of conversation, but on the other hand, Sonia seemed to have unclear hidden intentions. In confusion, Indra tried to find a way to solve this problem without making the situation worse.
In the midst of Indra's frustration, Sonia suddenly offered a deal that made him even more surprised, "Tsk! I'm not leaking this because I love you so much. But, of course, there are conditions."
Bathump!
"I knew it! She must have certain intentions. Tsk! He really hasn't changed," she muttered to herself.
Indra tried to control himself, even though his patience was starting to be provoked. With a rough sigh, he asked again, "What is it?"
Sonia's grin then radiated from her face, her cynical smile continued to expand, indicating that a ridiculous plan was taking hold of her. "You must obey my every request, including introducing me to Dinda, your future wife."
"What!?"
Indra was stunned. Sonia's proposed deal left his caught between two difficult choices. Although he didn't want the matter to become a public spectacle, complying with all of Sonia's requests, especially those involving Dinda, made his feel uncomfortable.
In confusion and pressure, Indra had to choose between maintaining his privacy or fulfilling Sonia's mounting demands. Difficult decisions lay ahead, and he felt increasingly trapped in this complicated game.
Indra grunted in annoyance, Sonia's presence really made his dizzy.
"I know her nature very well, she will definitely ask for strange things, but I can't refuse her because she might reveal my plans with Dinda to the public. Or report everything to Mr. Anggoro, and everything could fall apart as a result. This is really troublesome!" A struggle then took place in the man's mind, he really felt pressured because of the woman in front of him.
With some hesitation and apprehension, Indra finally agreed to Sonia's offer. "Alright, I'll introduce you to Dinda. But, please, don't do or say anything strange to her," she said in a serious tone.
"Why? I forgot that you're so romantic for something like this, it's a wonder I can never forget you," Sonia said teasingly.
But Indra was silent, not wanting to answer something that would get him in trouble again.
Sonia smiled with satisfaction, as if she had won. "All right, Indra. I know my limits. We'll play by the rules you set."
Indra felt relieved for a moment, though she was still uncomfortable with this agreement. In his heart, he hoped that this was the right move to solve his problem without causing more complications.
Indra managed to arrange a meeting between Sonia and Dinda. Fortunately, Dinda agreed without much questioning, and the day of the meeting arrived. They sat opposite each other in a fast-food restaurant in the city, creating a tense atmosphere.
Sonia looked at Dinda with a sly smile, while Dinda seemed calm and understated. Indra sat between them, looking anxious about what would happen next. The exchange of words between Sonia and Dinda began, creating an increasingly tense atmosphere.
"Nice to meet you, you're very beautiful. No wonder Indra is crazy about you and takes good care of you," Sonia said with a fake smile.
But Dinda responded casually, "Ah! Thank you, nice to meet you too." Her face continued to be radiant, but inwardly she said, "What is this!? He's clearly looking at me with that kind of gaze it seems like he has another intention."
Indra hoped that this meeting wouldn't create any new problems, but his worry lingered in every expression on his face. They were at a crossroads that might lead to a decision that determined the fate of their relationship going forward.
Without further ado, Sonia immediately offered them a new deal, "Alright, get on with it... I will not spread the truth behind your fake marriage, as long as you both give me everything I ask for without exception," she said in a firm voice.
For an instant, Dinda looked shocked, both her eyeballs perfectly rounded, though her reaction remained controlled. Yes! Indra did not tell her that, she wanted her to hear it directly from Sonia.
"You treasure-crazy bastard! I knew he had other intentions, how could a woman want to meet her ex-boyfriend's future wife in person?" Dinda cursed to herself, "If I let him, he might complain to Papa. "
Tsk! You are a bitch!"
Indra and Dinda looked at each other, feeling the pressure mounting. They knew that this agreement carried a great burden, but it also saved their privacy from unwanted public exposure.
Indra bit his lip, while Dinda tried to contain his discomfort. Difficult choices lay ahead, and their lives became even more complex with the new deal proposed by Sonia.
Indra was surprised by Sonia's extremism in offering a deal, but Sonia laughed with conviction, "How about it? Isn't this a win-win for all of us? Don't you agree?" Sonia said between laughs.
Sonia's laughter created discomfort between them, and the atmosphere at the dinner table grew tense. Indra tried to calm the turmoil in his mind, looking for the best way to resolve this issue without harming himself or Dinda further.
Amid Sonia's continued laughter, Indra and Dinda had to consider how they were going to live their lives with this increasingly complicated deal.
As for Indra? He was completely silent, but not with his mind wishing that something wouldn't happen.
"How is this? Dinda looks uncomfortable. Why does Sonia have to do this!?"
