"Ready-" Indra's speech stopped when he looked back until his eyes widened. "Sonia?"
Dinda, who didn't know anything before, just narrowed her eyes and asked silently about the woman who suddenly appeared in front of them. But Indra, who was still surprised, got up from his seat, his gesture then looked strange, as if he were thinking about something mixed with anger.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, slightly snapping.
But Sonia instead acted naturally and replied, "I was out for a walk and accidentally saw you and..." Her lie stopped for a moment as she glanced at the woman who was still sitting with curiosity. "Eating with this woman, who is she?"
Sonia's gaze instantly shifted to Dinda, and she looked at her sharply and questioningly. The same was true for Indra, who was now trying to hold back his anger that was instantly flaring up towards Sonia.
"Is she your girlfriend, your future wife, who's been keeping you busy and rich lately?" Sonia asked with a hint of amusement.
"Shut your mouth, Sonia!" he snapped at the woman.
"Tsk! What's wrong with that? I'm addressing the woman who snatched my man," chided Sonia sarcastically and with a vengeful glare at Dinda.
As for Dinda? That woman had been silent for a thousand words, even though her mind was in an uproar over a situation that she didn't even understand. How could she not? In the middle of a quiet and comfortable lunch, Dinda was suddenly surprised by the appearance of a strange woman and made a scene. With that, Dinda realized that they were the center of attention for the diners there.
"T-this can't be helped," she muttered and blinked her eyes in an effort to wake up.
"Ah! Please calm down, Lady." Dinda got up and tried to break up the two people who were busy arguing. "We can talk nicely."
For a moment, the situation was quiet. Dinda also did not expect that she managed to stabilize the situation with her words, making her feel calmer even though the state of her body had begun to signal discomfort again.
Feeling unable to remain silent any longer, Dinda then let out a long breath and smiled, "Alright."
"What exactly are you guys planning on doing with this fake wedding?"
Bathump!
For an instant, Dinda and Indra fell silent and looked at each other. Dinda's eyes widened, and she began to think, "Fake wedding?? Did she hear everything?"
Various assumptions began to come to her mind. Dinda did not expect that the strange woman had heard all her conversations with Indra. She was so surprised that she was at a loss for words to say in response to the woman in front of them, who now seemed to be waiting for an explanation.
As for Indra? With an angry gaze, the man now looked at Sonia and tried not to make a bigger scene. He continued to exhale harshly when he saw Sonia's gaze looking at him curiously.
"Why did I ask the wrong question?" Sonia looked back at Indra and Dinda in turn and asked, "Should I?"
"Tsk! Come with me!" Indra suddenly got up, grabbed Sonia's arm, and pulled her away from the place, even though Sonia kept struggling to get away.
"H-hey! How dare you, Indra?"
But Indra strengthened his grip as he said, "You dare to disturb us!"
Indra, who had always been polite, especially in front of Dinda, now turned into an arrogant man after he felt disturbed and humiliated. He continued to grumble in annoyance before finally saying to Dinda, "Sorry, I'll excuse myself. Please continue with your lunch."
Sonia was getting more and more furious with the embarrassing situation, especially when she saw the sweet gesture Indra was giving to a woman who was a stranger to him.
"You? What's wrong with you guys!? Why are you always being so nice to her and not to me?"
"Shut up and follow me!"
The man immediately dragged Sonia away from the place that was filled with the eyes of all the visitors who kept focusing on them. It made Dinda feel a little uncomfortable, and she did not even take her eyes off the two people who kept walking away until they were out of sight.
"Who is that woman? Why does she look so familiar with Indra?" she asked herself.
How could she not? The incident really made her so surprised and shocked that it raised various questions in her mind, but suddenly the cramps in her stomach attacked again. Dinda held her stomach area and frowned slightly.
"Ouch... "
For a moment, the woman groaned and tried to pull herself together, she certainly could not collapse in such a crowded place, even after the embarrassing incident happened.
"Why now?"
Meanwhile...
"Tsk! Let go!" Sonia tried to get Indra's hand off her as the two of them were still walking down the trotar. But unfortunately, Indra's strength was certainly stronger, especially now that the man was feeling a great deal of anger towards him.
By the time they arrived at a quiet place not far from the restaurant, Indra quickly threw Sonia's hand until the woman was pushed forward and almost fell down, fortunately, her footwork was still under control. But it still made Sonia upset and angry.
"What's wrong with you, Honey?" She screeched as if she couldn't contain her anger anymore. "Who is she anyway? You have the heart to do this to me."
"She's my future wife! You have no right to talk nonsense in front of her, Sonia."
The words managed to make Sonia freeze speechless for a moment, only her eyes looked perfectly rounded, as if she couldn't believe Indra's words.
"Listen! We were together, and I still respect you and even accept you in my place. But please don't misinterpret that, Sonia. Our relationship ended a long time ago. Now things are different. We're done, Sonia! So please understand and don't bother me or Dinda," Indra said.
Sonia then wrinkled her forehead, looking surprised by Indra's confession, which was completely out of her expectations. She then exhaled and smiled sarcastically as if she were patronizing Indra's words and assumed he was joking.
"Ah! So her name is Dinda. She's the one who dared to snatch you."
"Enough, Sonia!"
Sonia's words came back to a halt and even made her flinch and then fall silent. Yes! Never had she seen Indra so angry as to yell at her.
The situation suddenly turned tense, the scorching heat of the afternoon was inferior to the atmosphere that enveloped Indra and Sonia. Even Indra's piercing gaze was able to make Sonia remain silent, a gaze that she had never seen during the time the two of them had known and loved each other several years ago.
But a moment later, Sonia realized something from the conversation she had overheard at the restaurant—a grin on her face that had almost lost her hope.
"Ah! I see... so she's the one who gave you the money to get you to marry her, is that it?"
