"What do you want to eat?" asked Dinda after she had finished mentioning her order to the waiter standing beside their table.
Indra who was focused on looking at the menu book instead of immediately deciding, looked confused because the list of foods listed there was quite unfamiliar to him.
"Wow, what is this food? I've never eaten it before," he muttered to himself.
"Indra?" Dinda finally tried to call out to the man who didn't seem to be listening to her, but unfortunately, Indra ignored her completely because both of the man's eyes were still focused on the menu book in front of him.
Seeing this, Dinda shook her head with a small smile.
"Indra?" she called again, raising her tone slightly to break the man's reverie.
"Ah! What's up, Dinda?" Indra blinks and closes the menu book.
"What would you like to order?" Dinda asked again.
"Oh! I-I... just the same as yours. That's it!" Indra replied quickly.
This made Dinda feel astonished, her eyebrows furrowed and her eyes narrowed.
"Are you sure? The food I ordered won't match yours," Dinda explained.
But Indra fell silent again, not knowing what to order at the moment. His fidgeting became even more obvious when the man couldn't answer anything. This made Dinda exchange glances with the waiter, who was stifling laughter at Indra's strange behavior.
Finally, Dinda took a deep breath and smiled. She seemed to understand what Indra was going through at the moment.
"Hmm, okay. Just order the same as mine, Mas!" Dinda said to the waiter.
"Okay." The waiter scribbled again on the small book in his hand, "Please wait! We'll make the order right away."
Dinda simply nodded her understanding, followed by Indra, who then lowered his gaze. For a moment, Dinda did not let go of her gaze on the man in front of her, even though Indra tried not to look directly at the woman.
The woman continued to stare at Indra without any expression on her face, although she didn't know why, but it made Indra realize it and made him even more nervous until cold sweat began to pour out.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Is she upset because I left her yesterday?" Indra asked herself.
Not wanting to be drawn into an uncomfortable situation, Indra finally tried to break the ice by clearing his throat a little and fixing his sitting position, trying to control himself.
"Ekhem! Dinda..."
"Yes?" Dinda blinked while raising her eyebrows as if ready to listen to Indra's words.
"Regarding what happened yesterday, I apologize," Indra said in a low tone.
"Sorry for?" For an instant, Dinda furrowed her brow, looking strange at the words she had just heard.
Indra, who lowered his head again, became even more nervous as the trembling in his hands continued to overtake him.
"That's because I left you at the boutique and didn't come back."
Dinda, who quickly understood the matter, replied, "Oh, it's okay Indra. I'm fine."
"Seriously!?" Indra immediately raised both eyebrows, unable to believe Dinda's response, which she felt did not really blame her.
This was further reinforced by the woman's nod of confirmation, "Really."
Dinda then changed her sitting position while letting out a long sigh. "I have no problem with that at all," she said again, looking confident but apparently not with her heart, saying, "Yes, I'm a little sad that you suddenly disappeared without news, Indra."
But that expression, of course, could not be uttered and finally could only reside in the woman's heart.
Receiving this response, Indra finally smiled and said, "Ah! Well, I thought you were objecting and angry with me."
"Pft! Angry?" Dinda chuckled. "What am I angry for?"
Indra paused and slightly shrugged his shoulders, implying her ignorance.
"I have no right to be. Even though we're going to get married and live together, it's still just a status on paper," Dinda explained.
"You agreed to this deal, and I'm already very grateful, so... I don't have to protest and get angry, let alone get jealous of your personal matters." Dinda continued to babble on, trying to explain her situation and control the awkward atmosphere, but of course not with her heart, which contradicted her words, "Yes, actually, I'm a bit upset because you didn't come back. I've been waiting for you, Indra."
That's how Dinda was feeling, the inner struggle she continued to feel even made her feel a little tormented because she had to hide her feelings.
Indra felt the same way. Although he was a little relieved that Dinda was not angry with him, for some reason he felt something strange in his heart. Especially when he heard that Dinda would not be jealous about anything.
Just then, Indra tried to slap herself. "Calm down, Indra. You must realize and control yourself! Dinda and me are just an agreement and nothing more!"
Indra continued to try to control himself, even though it was very uncomfortable to have to fight with the strange feelings that kept bothering him.
"Good then." Indra smiled sweetly, a little wider.
Yes! That smile again made Dinda trapped in a feeling that she could not explain herself. Fortunately, the situation was saved by the arrival of the waiter who brought their order.
Dinda immediately grabbed the fruit juice she ordered and immediately drank it. Her heartbeat was really chaotic. After the waiter finished putting the dishes away and left the table, the two began to eat their food.
In between, both of them still felt awkward due to the slightly heavy conversation that drained their energy and feelings.
"So, how have you been doing lately?" asked Indra, trying to break the ice after he finished his meal.
Dinda, who was still chewing her food, tried to answer, "It's fine. I don't feel as nauseous as I did at the beginning. I also seem to be getting used to my stomach."
Indra smiled and said, "Good. Please take care of yourself."
Somehow the words sounded so soft and sincere coming out of his heart, even able to make Dinda's heart beat again.
Not wanting to be swept away by the situation, Dinda then tried to control herself by looking for other discussions that were not too heavy.
"Oh, yes. Maybe now we'll meet more often to take care of our wedding. I hope you have more time for this," Dinda said with a little emphasis.
Fortunately, Indra understood and nodded. "Okay, I'll try my best. I will also make sure that things like yesterday will not happen again."
Dinda smiled with satisfaction at Indra's response, and for some reason, it made her heart feel very calm.
Until suddenly...
"Oh! So this is what made your attitude change towards me?"
