Indra snorted in annoyance as he rubbed his face in a rough motion, showing that he was really furious with Sonia's behavior in front of him.
"So, what do you want?" Indra glared at Sonia, who was standing in front of him with her hands in her lap.
Sonia was not to be outdone, she returned her ex-lover's gaze as if she were not afraid of Indra's expression, which held resentment towards her.
"What do you think?" She asked as if challenging, but Indra only remained silent while raising one eyebrow. Sonia snorted in annoyance and said again, "You're still like before, huh? Never sensitive!"
This made Indra wonder even more, what exactly did Sonia want this time? Especially Indra, who was already tired and unable to think or even guess what was in the woman's mind. In the end, he got up from his bed roughly while turning his face away.
"Never mind, I'm really tired," he said as he began to walk past Sonia. "Go to bed if you want to stay here... and leave me alone."
SLAM!
Indra closed the door with a slight slam that made Sonia blink. The woman just fell silent and watched Indra, who was annoyed by it. But the next second, the smirk returned to her face.
It wasn't long before Sonia plopped down on the bed she had missed. She lay down while enjoying the bed that often accompanied Indra every night. Her eyes closed for a moment, as if she were imagining things that invaded her mind.
"Thank you, Indra. You still care about me."
Meanwhile Indra? He walked slowly with a crumpled face towards the chair in the living room. The chair immediately welcomed his body, which was already very tired from the various things that bothered him tonight. However, instead of immediately closing his eyes and falling asleep, Instead, her eyes were wide awake, and her mind was in a frenzy.
"Tsk! Really!" he ranted, rubbing his eyes again. "Why does it have to be now!?"
Yes! This really did upset his to the point of wanting to finish himself off. He suddenly thought of something that he had been holding back.
"Sonia definitely won't let me go, sooner or later she'll find out about Dinda," he muttered with narrowed eyes. "And what should I say when they finally meet?"
Turning back to Sonia, the woman was now sitting on the edge of the bed as she looked around the not-so-large but neatly organized bedroom. Yes! Who would have thought that the woman would not bother and fall asleep immediately after getting what she wanted tonight?
Because, unexpectedly, her curiosity was now coming to the forefront of her mind. Her gaze did not stop scrutinizing every single thing in there.
"Nothing interesting, his habits are still the same."
As expected, Indra's dislike for some things was still present. The only thing that was the same was his habit of always favoring cleanliness and neatness, just like the current state of his room. Everything was organized and clean.
Sonia smiled again. "This is why I can never look away from you, Indra. I was the only one who was foolish enough to be seduced by another man."
It didn't stop there, her intention was certainly not just to sleep in that room because there was something quite disturbing that managed to make her curious again. That was seen when the woman got up from the bed and started exploring every corner of the room as if trying to find something she might not have known about.
"Alright, let's see what you've been up to lately... to the point where you dare to say that you'll replace my money in just one week."
***
The next day, Indra woke up to a noise that disturbed his ears. He tried to blink his eyes, even though sleepiness still attacked him.
"Tsk! What is this noise?" The man rubbed his eyes, trying to wake up.
He faintly looked around the room and landed on the wall clock near the door.
"Ah! It looks like I'm late." As he tried to get up, suddenly his whole body felt sore and aching because the bedding he was using was certainly not as comfortable as in his bedroom.
In the midst of his groaning, he smelled a fragrant scent that entered his nasal cavity, along with which the noise was still clearly audible until curiosity invaded his mind and prompted him to confirm it.
"Wow! You're awake already." The voice startled his again.
Indra narrowed her eyes and muttered, "Who-?" his words were interrupted when he saw a woman standing in the kitchen doorway. "Ah, you..."
"I almost forgot that woman came to me last night," she mused.
Sonia walked up to the man with a cheerful look on her face and a sweet smile filled with happiness.
"Good morning, handsome! Let's get up and have breakfast together," she said excitedly.
However, instead of getting a warm and loving reply, she only got the same reaction as last night, even when they met again after a long time.
Yes! Indra now wore a cold, flat face, as if he didn't like his ex-girlfriend's presence. The man even scratched his head and made a frowning face.
"So, what are you doing in someone else's kitchen this early in the morning?"
Sonia was silent for a moment. She was still surprised and could not believe the attitude she got from a man who had never been replaced by anyone in her heart. Despite feeling upset, Sonia did not want to give up and decided not to bother too much with the words that hurt her a little.
The girl actually expanded her smile even more and began to reply, "Me? What else do you think... other than preparing breakfast for us?"
Indra then frowned. "You? Preparing breakfast for me?"
Sonia quickly nodded her head in affirmation. But at that moment, Indra chuckled at her.
"Ah! I wonder. Because maybe it should be the owner of a house who entertains his guests, not the other way around," he said coldly, as if satirizing himself. "But... thank you in advance."
This time Sonia was satisfied with Indra's words, even though they sounded insincere. The woman smiled again and said, "Well, let's get ready for breakfast. I've made your favorite fried rice."
Indra now returned the smile, even though it seemed forced. "Okay. Thank you, but it looks like you'll have to eat by yourself since I'm in a hurry."
"Where to?"
The woman's tone instantly leveled off, followed by a sardonic look on her face. Even the sweet smile that had been radiating suddenly vanished.
But Indra? The man completely ignored the change in his girlfriend's demeanor and instead got up from his chair and headed for his room to bring a towel, with no intention of answering Sonia's serious-sounding question.
