Indra, who was sitting down, quickly stood up with hir gaze fixed on hir mobile phone, feeling shocked to death when he read a text message that broke his concentration. Even as Dinda finished trying on a wedding dress, she pulled back the curtain.
"How about this? Are you-" Dinda's speech was cut short when she saw Indra, who was currently standing facing the window while staring at his mobile phone.
Dinda then narrowed her eyes. "Indra?"
But the call did not succeed in making Indra hear or even turn his head. This, of course, made Dinda feel both surprised and curious, until she sighed and called him back with a slight increase in the volume of her voice.
"Indra? Are you okay?"
Yes! This time the call, which sounded quite loud, managed to make Indra blink and turn his head instantly. Dinda still tried to act casual and smiled. "What are you doing?"
"A-ah! Are you done?" Indra tried to control himself instead of answering Dinda's question. He then immediately fell silent at the sight of the woman wearing a beautiful ivory-white dress decorated with several sequins and beautiful flower accents.
Indra was unconsciously lost in the woman's charms and murmured, "So beautiful..."
"Yes? How is it, Indra?" asked Dinda once again.
Just as Indra blinked his eyes in an attempt to come to his senses, the man cleared his throat and replied, "Beautiful, very beautiful."
For a moment, Dinda was silent, trying to understand what Indra meant by the word beautiful, but the next second, the man gasped again and quickly said, "The dress... yes! I mean, the dress is very pretty and... suitable."
Dinda then smiled and seemed to blush, even though Indra's answer was different from her small expectations.
"I see, yeah..."
Indra just nodded in affirmation. But the next minute, suddenly, a ringing mobile phone destroyed the beautiful atmosphere. Yes! Who else, if not the figure who sent Indra a message a few moments ago?
The man then took a deep breath and did not immediately pick up the phone, making Dinda, who had been watching him, feel surprised. Dinda then raised both eyebrows and asked again, "Why didn't you pick up?"
Indra was still silent, looking confused. He seemed to be considering something by continuing to stare at the mobile phone that was still ringing alternately with looking at Dinda. Until a few moments later...
"Sorry, I'm afraid I have to go to the back first," he said suddenly in a cold tone. "And... that dress is nice, but if you could try on something else first while you wait for me,"
Without hearing Dinda's response, the man rushed out of the boutique. Of course, with hurried steps, as if urged by something.
Meanwhile, what about Dinda? She just stood there staring at the back of her husband-to-be, who was getting farther and farther away, and disappeared from behind the door. At that moment, her mind began to wander, even guessing what was really going on.
With a frown forming on her forehead, the woman then muttered, "What's the hurry?" Then she shook her head in disbelief.
Besides with Indra, she seemed to be walking quickly towards the street and waiting for the public transport that happened to be passing by. The worry was evident on her face, and she even wanted to speed up the vehicle that was carrying her at the moment.
Moments later, the public transport had arrived at a large station in the city. Again, Indra quickly got off it after paying the fare and walked in a hurry, also with a gaze that did not stop circulating as if he were looking for someone waiting for him there.
"Where is she? She said she was waiting here, but-"
"You finally came too, Indra."
The loud voice managed to make Indra flinch and turn his head towards the back. Immediately, his eyes rounded perfectly to see a beautiful woman holding her hands in her fashionable clothes, smiling at him.
"Sonia?" Indra narrowed his eyes, as if surprised by Sonia's sudden arrival.
Sonia lowered her hand and let out a long sigh. "How are you? It's been so long since we've seen each other. Do you feel at home here?"
Indra was silent and just stared at Sonia's appearance, which looked a little different since the last time they met in the village.
"What brings you here? And why didn't you tell me before?"
Yes! Instead of answering Sonia's question, the man ignored her and responded with several questions at once. It certainly made Sonia chuckle, feeling strange about the atmosphere, especially with the look of concern on Indra's face.
Sonia tried to hold back her laughter and replied, "You're still the same... always being cold to me, who will soon become your wife."
"What!?"
Indra was certainly surprised to hear that, both eyebrows raised with a sharp look in his eyes. "What do you mean by-"
That was cut short by Sonia's slightly annoyed snort. The woman then cast her eyes around the situation, and she found it impossible to continue such a sensitive and important conversation.
"I'll explain everything, but must we talk about it in a place like this?" Sonia teased, "You haven't greeted me properly since earlier either."
Indra was silent, and Sonia was right that they couldn't talk about it in that place, especially with so many people passing by. Until finally, Indra tried to restrain himself by continuing to regulate his breathing.
"Okay, we'll have lunch first, and you have to explain everything," Indra said with a little emphasis.
"Alright, handsome..." Sonia winked seductively.

"Isn't he coming back?" muttered Dinda, her gaze fixed on the entrance of the boutique.
How could she not? It had been several hours since Indra had left a few moments ago and had yet to return, even when Dinda had finished fitting and was just deciding on a few more things regarding the shades they would wear.
"Should I just wait?" Dinda then glanced at her watch, which was already pointing to 3. "But it's already afternoon... I haven't checked the office either."
It was confusing, and Dinda felt very indecisive about the current situation. Then she remembered Indra's number that was given to her a few nights ago.
"Should I call him? Just to make sure."
Dinda reached into her small bag and pulled out the flat object from inside. Her fingers then danced over the touch screen, trying to find the man's phone contact.
For a moment, her movements stopped as the indecision continued to haunt her. "It won't matter if I call him, right? After all, this is about our agreement too," she muttered thoughtfully.
Until, without thinking anymore, Dinda immediately pressed the green button to start the call and put it in her ear.
[The number you are dialing does not answer.]
"Tsk! Why aren't you picking up!?" She grumbled, "Is it okay to be like that? Just leave..."
Not wanting to give up, Dinda tried to contact him again. But what happened was...
[Sorry, the number you have dialed is busy.].
"Rejected!?"
