Ch. 13romantic man

Although it was a bit long, the dinner ended well and resulted in some good agreements for each family. Despite this, Indra still felt insecure about himself after being given the mandate to learn to manage Anggoro's company in the future.

This was evident when Indra, who was now in the back garden after being invited by Dinda to go around and sit on a park bench, enjoyed the cool night air.

Indra still seemed to be immersed in his reverie, as if thinking about something fairly heavy, seeing that Dinda also fell silent while thinking about something.

"What's wrong with you, Indra? Did my father say something wrong?" she asked suddenly.

But Indra, who was surprised by Dinda's assumption, blinked quickly and replied, "Nothing, Lady. I'm fine."

"But?" Dinda raised both eyebrows as if asking for more explanation.

For a moment, Indra was silent instead of answering a fairly simple question. The man seemed preoccupied with his own thoughts even after the conversation with Anggoro regarding their future plans.

Too dizzy, Indra finally let out a long sigh before adjusting his sitting position as if he were ready to tell the truth.

"Sorry in advance, Lady. I-"

"Ah! I also had something to say about us before," Dinda interrupted, bringing Indra's speech to an instant halt.

"Us?" Indra narrowed her eyes, followed by Dinda, who immediately nodded her head.

"Yes, I want to talk about what you called me earlier," said Dinda.

Instead of understanding, Indra looked even more confused as the wrinkles on his forehead became more apparent. Showing that the man did not really understand the words of the woman sitting beside him.

Then, with a quick movement, Dinda nodded her head and replied, "I know this sounds excessive. But you don't have to call me by that name."

"Ah! So? Does my nickname sound strange?"

"It might, it might not," Dinda nodded her head. "Because soon our relationship will be official, and... you certainly can't call me like that."

Indra was silent for a moment, waiting for Dinda's next words, of course, by continuing to think about what the woman really meant.
Until the next minute, Dinda said, "You can just call me Dinda, not Lady."

"A-ah, is that okay?"

Dinda then chuckled, trying to hold back her laughter while scrunching her forehead. "Really? What does that mean?"

For a moment, Indra was silent, looking at Dinda, who continued to smile at him until the man blinked his eyes and replied, "Ah, no. If that's okay, then fine. I'll call you that. If that's okay, then... I'll call it like that."

The grin on Dinda's face indicated that she was indeed happy when Indra agreed to her suggestion and didn't say much, but behind it, Dinda felt a strange feeling coming over her.

"It's a relief, but... I guess I was hoping for something more," she mused wistfully. "Like-"

"Ekhem!"

The deafening sound startled both Dinda and Indra, causing them to immediately look back as Indra got up and bowed his body to salute the man who would become his father-in-law. In contrast to Dinda, who looked a little annoyed by her father's sudden arrival,.

The woman snorted slowly, holding back her annoyance. "Tsk! Why does Papa always show up at the wrong time?" She grumbled to herself.

"It's getting late. I think you and your son should rest, Honey," Anggoro said coldly, then turned to Indra. "Mrs. Heni is also looking for you."

"W-well, sir," she stammered.

"What!?" Anggoro was suddenly surprised by the call. "You want to call your in-laws that?"

Indra was silent and exchanged glances with Dinda, he also felt confused about what to say. Until Dinda, who understood, quickly answered, "Ah! Sorry, Pa. Indra's not used to it, so-"

"Tch! Whatever." Anggoro cut off Dinda's speech before she could even finish speaking and then simply left the place and said to his assistant, "You stay here and keep an eye on them!"

"Yes, sir!" said Surya, bowing his body.

With a grumbling heart, Anggoro continued to silently berate Indra for the nickname that was uncomfortable for him to hear.

Meanwhile, in the garden, Dinda and Indra were still silent, with considerable awkwardness. Indra also felt guilty for his behavior towards Anggoro, which made him feel scared.

"S-sorry, Dind. I didn't mean to."

"Already, it's okay. Papa is like that, he didn't mean it," Dinda explained.

Indra just nodded his understanding, even though the embarrassment in him did not subside.

"Well, I guess I have to say goodbye now," he said again while fixing his clothes.

But before that, Indra turned to Surya, standing not far from the park bench, who was standing guard there. Indra even waved her hand as she said, "Sorry, sir. Can I come here for a moment?"

The ever-obedient Surya complied and hurried over to his future employer. "What's wrong?" he asked a little curtly.

"Do you have a ballpoint? If so, let me borrow it for a moment," Indra asked gently.

Surya nodded and immediately took out the object tucked into his uniform pocket. "Go ahead."

Seeing that Dinda was surprised and felt curious, her eyes narrowed, and she muttered, "What for?"

But Indra didn't answer and just smiled and said, "Can I borrow your hand?"

With her mind still guessing, Dinda naturally extended her hand. At that moment, Indra quickly took the smooth hand and opened his palm.

"Sorry," The man began to scratch the pen and write a series of numbers on the palm of the woman in front of him.

Dinda was shocked by this, but instead of getting angry, she chuckled and felt a tingle on her palm.

"Geez, Indra... I thought, What the hell? You can just type your number into my mobile phone," Dinda giggled.

But a relaxed Indra replied, "It's romantic."

That short and clear answer had succeeded in making Dinda's face turn bright red! She blushed so hard that she couldn't say anything. Even after it was over, Indra, who said goodbye and left the park, did not necessarily make Dinda realize that her heart was now pounding so hard that it felt like it was going to explode.

The next day, Dinda and Indra would be busy with several agendas regarding their wedding. That day, the two of them went to a luxury boutique that Dinda's late mother used when she was alive. They were busy choosing and fitting the clothes they would wear for the akad and reception.

"Are shades of white good?" asked Dinda, who seemed to be sorting and choosing several models of wedding clothes.

Indra, who did not understand the matter, decided to just obey and nodded, "It looks good."

In the middle of that, Indra's mobile phone suddenly vibrated, indicating an incoming message. Without lingering any longer, Indra quickly grabbed the mobile phone and checked it, much to the man's surprise when he first opened and read a message containing, [Meet me at the station. I have a surprise for you!]
