"S-she's telling the truth, if that man is my future husband, No," Sarah said nervously.
Yatno growled slightly in annoyance, while Hilman smiled happily at being recognized by the love of his life. "Well, sorry if I interrupted!" he said, nodding politely. "Our business isn't done yet, ma'am!" he hissed softly as he walked past Sarah, then quickly walked away, leaving them both behind.
Sarah, who received such a threat, could only turn pale with bulging eyes. Meanwhile, Hilman immediately approached the woman with a worried look. "Are you okay?"
"I'm... fine. Thank you, Doctor," Sarah said with a slight bow. Her face looked relieved to have survived this time.
"Thank goodness!" said Hilman with relief. "Oh yeah, I'm sorry I had to say that to that guy earlier. Hmmm... who are you? How can you be so insolent like that?!" he asked in surprise. His eyes searched Sarah's entire body to make sure she was really okay.
"No one, Doctor. Sorry if I can't tell you," Sarah said, reluctant to tell. "oh yes, excuse me! I'm going back to my mother's room!" she said as she walked past Hilman in a bit of a hurry.
Hilman could only scratch the nape of his non-itchy neck, feeling confused by Sarah's slightly changed attitude. Whereas previously it seemed that the woman had begun to accept him, now it was back to her attitude when they first met. "What's wrong with her?" he asked mumbling while shaking his head in confusion. With a sigh, the man hurriedly walked after Sarah while telling her that Marni had been moved to the treatment room.
Meanwhile, Sarah, who didn't know any better, quickly made her way back to the operating room. Just as she was about to press the elevator button, Hilman pulled her left arm so hard that her body was pulled towards him. "Let me go, Doc!" she yelled in annoyance, not accepting being held like that by a man she considered a land crocodile.
"Why are you so angry, Sarah? What exactly did I do wrong to you?" Hilman asked back with a furrowed brow as he looked Sarah right in the eye.
"The doctor has nothing wrong with me because we're nobodies! So... it's better for us to mind our own business and stay out of other people's business!" scolded Sarah as she forcefully pulled on her arm that Hilman was holding onto until it broke free because Hilman was willing to release his choke hold.
"What does that mean? How come I don't understand! Didn't I tell you and your mother that I was serious about proposing to you to be my last port of call. How can you say something like that?! It's as if I'm playing around," said Hilman, annoyed because from Sarah's tone, she seemed to be accusing him of nothing.
"The doctor doesn't need to explain anything to me because everything is clear!" said Sarah firmly as she pressed the elevator button again. Soon the doors opened wide.
"Where are you going?" asked Hilman as he saw Sarah get into the elevator, about to press the up button.
"I told you I was going to my mother's place! How can you still ask?!" Sarah scolded, feeling that Hilman was acting strangely.
"Yes, you know ... the question is, why did you take the elevator?" asked Hilman again as he went inside, so Sarah was forced to step back until her back hit the elevator wall when she saw the intimidating look Hilman was showing her.
"Do-doctor don't mess with me!" scolded Sarah trying to be brave, even though she admitted that she was made to shrink by the man who was now enclosing her there.
"I won't mess with you, as long as you don't get angry with me again and also explain to me what exactly happened to make you change your attitude towards me!" urged Hilman, his nose wrinkling as he closed his eyes as Sarah's scent wafted across his senses.
"Sa-I'm not angry, really?" evaded Sarah while lowering her head, she was increasingly frightened by the intimidating aura that Hilman gave off. Especially when the man seemed to inhale the scent of her hair from underneath the hijab she wore, also expecting it to smell of sweat.
"Are you angry, honey?" asked Hilman, hissing softly.
"I'm not angry!" Sarah retorted.
"If you're not angry. Why are you acting like that towards me? I'm not a child yesterday afternoon that you can trick with words not angry, but in reality you are angry with me!" Hilman urged again while advancing his body until Sarah felt claustrophobic because the man's large body seemed to be sinking into her thin body. "Answer me honestly! Since we are not yet halal, then this is all I can do! But if later we become a halal couple, then ...," Hilman immediately lowered his face until his mouth was now right in front of Sarah's right ear who could only make a face while glancing fearfully at him. "I will make you sigh repeatedly until you give up. If necessary until morning! Then in the end you will tell me the truth, what you really feel," he said while whispering softly until his fragrant and warm breath hit Sarah's cheeks who now looked even more pale with a body shaking violently as well as cold sweat. The woman even seemed to be having trouble swallowing.
Sarah immediately breathed a sigh of relief when Hilman pulled her body so that she could be free from the man's confinement. She tried to draw in as much oxygen as possible and also wiped the sweat that came out from between the pores of her skin, right in the forehead area.
"Now answer me, my future wife! What exactly has made you angry with me so that your attitude has suddenly changed like this, also tell me, who was that man? Is he your ex-husband?" asked Hilman again urging Sarah to tell him the truth.
"Fine, I'll tell the doctor the truth! I'm actually annoyed at the Doctor who turned out to be a land crocodile!" said Sarah in a furious tone.
"What?! Land crocodile! Who? Me?" asked Hilman with a confused look on his face. The man even pointed at his own face with wide eyes.
"Yes! The doctor is a land crocodile!" scolded Sarah who seemed to have just regained her courage.
"One moment... one moment! What does this mean? How can I be called a land crocodile? I don't even have another girl!" Hilman refused to be accused like that by Sarah. His style of calling even reflexively changed.
"Cih, you mokondo, land crocodile! I just heard you say that you love me, telling my angel over the phone. Now you don't even admit it! You land crocodile! Where the hell is the name land crocodile, like that! There you call me darling, here you call me love, there you call me my goddaughter, on the other side you call me my soulmate! Eh, now you're saying that I'm a future wife again!" Sarah scolded.
Hilman was just stunned to see Sarah seemingly ranting at length. But not long after, the man snuggled into her chest while flashing a sweet smile. "Are you jealous, darling?" he asked in a happy tone.
Sarah, who was asked like that, immediately fell silent. Unable to answer the questions Hilman asked.
