Next to the life puzzle shop was a fairly quiet ice cream shop, only two people were sitting outside, in front of which were 4 chairs and a dark blue outdoor umbrella table, each with two chairs. So, right now, Sky and Matcha were sitting across from each other, daydreaming out loud.
Matcha tapped her hand, staring again at the puzzle shop that had suddenly disappeared, or they simply couldn't see it. Her face was already flushed again, her left hand under the table clenched into a tight fist, her chest rumbling violently.
Matcha was angry.
Just as Matcha had gotten one condition to redeem the puzzle, ready to bring the facts she already had on her family's infidelity case, Grandma Ayu suddenly disappeared.
She heard Sky swear softly, which made her chuckle.
"Is it possible that Grandma Ayu is lying?" asked Matcha. The access card she was looking for was probably just nonsense and stupidly, they just believed her.
Sky shook his head. "I know."
The man was already looking very frustrated.
Matcha groaned, pressing her forehead against the table halfway between her and Sky, banging it a few times against the table that was about 60 cm in diameter. "How ridiculous."
Long enough for Matcha to perform that action, to the point where Sky held Matcha's head, making her look up. No longer hurting her head.
"Blue's head, that's it. Not your head," Sky said irritably, withdrawing her hand again when Matcha brushed it away. The girl looked very displeased. "Yeah, you anyway."
Matcha glared. Her position changed, leaning back against the head of the rattan chair, sighing quite loudly. Even if she had to find Grandmother Ayu, where should she look? Was there any place she thought Grandmother Ayu might visit?
Until, a few minutes from then, Sky narrowed her eyes. The man stood, for quite some time, until he suddenly ran as he vaguely saw the building in the shop's place. When Sky's steps got closer, he fell silent again, just watching the shape of the building that was getting more and more perfect to his eyes.
Matcha hurried to catch up. The face of the shop changed. There was a gradation of blue and white, different from the beginning. The flowers that had been hanging in front had turned into a string of lights that must have been lit up at night. Then, when the two of them entered, the inside of the store changed greatly.
There was no display case in the center, instead, it looked more like a flower shop than a life puzzle shop because on each side there were baskets filled with various flowers, and then the table that moved near the facade also had flowers in the same vase as the last time Matcha saw it.
While the two boxes that he had seen, his and Sky's, were on the shelf dividing the rooms, right on the left side, further away from the facade.
"Grandma!" called Matcha loudly. Afterward, Grandma Ayu came out from behind the tall white shelf carrying a basket of daisies. It appeared that she was very fond of them. "Where have you been, Grandma?"
"Earlier, we couldn't see the shop," explained Sky.
For a moment, Nenek Ayu put the flower basket away on the floor to the right. She sat at the table in front of the facade, in the only two rattan chairs. So, Matcha hurriedly sat down opposite Nenek Ayu, while Sky clucked and stood at the side of the table while leaning against the wall with his hands in his pants pockets.
"But it's not important." Matcha tugged on Sky's bag until the man flipped over and let go of his backpack, then took out the two access cards, thrusting them at Nenek Ayu. Matcha had a smug look on her face, pointing at the black card with her chin. "So, Sky and I can already get the puzzle. Please, give it to me now."
"Says who?" asked Nenek Ayu, very casually. She took the access card and pocketed it in her front shirt pocket. "After this, you must complete the mission first. Then I'll give you the puzzle, and you can activate it."
"What? I thought we'd put the puzzle away when we gave you the card," Sky protested. "At that time, grandma didn't say anything like that to me."
"What's the mission!?" cut in Matcha quickly.
She didn't need a reason why Grandma Ayu hadn't told Sky this, all she needed now, was their mission. What mission Matcha had to carry out was far more important.
Grandma Ayu held out two mission cards, black as well, with stark white ink on them. Matcha and Sky took them one by one, they had their names on them. Matcha's eyes grew more cynical when she saw the writing, the mission was more about criticizing Matcha's attitude, and... "SHOULD I BE TOLD TO REPENT?"
Sky winced at that. "Like you have no sins, huh?"
Matcha's body turned upright, pounding the table once. "Yeah... not like this either!"
"Remember your mission!" said Grandma Ayu again, before she chose to leave and head back. She turned around again when she reached the side of the shelf. "Ah, yes. If you can't see this shop, just wait. It will appear slowly. I won't run away. My home is here, it will stay here."
"Ready, Grandma!" exclaimed Sky.
Matcha hissed. "Told you so long ago."
"You're angry all the time. Read your mission number one again." Sky picked up her bag again, putting the mission into a pocket in the bag. "Patience!"
He had a very patient feeling. "Do I often get angry or rage until I'm told to do this?"
Sky, who was about to walk out, smiled, sighed, facing Matcha who was starting to stand up as well. "No, you're a very patient person."
"Yeah, right?" replied Matcha confidently, her eyes bulging, then waltzed casually out of the store.
Sky smiled back, depressed, following the Most Patient boy to the side of his bike. The moment the two had gotten on the bike, Sky's cell phone rang, longer as if demanding him to answer quickly. So, Sky dropped the bike back down, picking up the phone.
"What the hell, Mil? The snack has to have a rhino?"
On the other side, Famila snorted. "No way. I'm already at school, I have an intensive class scheduled. Hurry up and go to school too. Ira's auntie is here to see the teacher. She wants to transfer Blue to the intensive class!"
"Why?" asked Matcha as Sky hurriedly handed Matcha his cell phone, then the motorcycle sped off towards Bakti Raya High School. Matcha was just silent, holding Sky's cell phone even tighter in her right hand, then her other hand held onto the back of the motorcycle seat.
Later, when they reached school, Sky explained as they walked, "Blue wanted to enter the Social Sciences class, but her grades went up dramatically because of you."
"Oh, yeah?" Matcha just found out.
"She's been stressed out and told by Aunt Ira to enter the intensive science class."
Matcha glared. "You didn't tell me!"
Then, afterward, Matcha ran faster towards the intensive class, finding Ira holding the registration paper at the frontmost classroom desk with Ms. Mira sitting in front of him with a happy look.
"Blue's progress has been very fast lately, his grades keep going up. It was the right choice for me to put her in this class," said Ms. Mira.
"MOM!" The door opened wider, she saw the contents of the classroom which had fewer seats and was more... intense for studying, since the drill was so close. There were only eleven circular seats there.
Matcha moved closer, taking the paper. "I don't want it."
"Really?" Ira looked at Ms. Mira again, excusing himself for a moment, he pulled Matcha out first. "Why?"
"I don't like it, it's here." Good. One fight back. Matcha wasn't going to let Blue down anymore. "I'll transfer to another class, but not here, but Social."
"Social?" Ira chuckled. "You want to fight mom?"
Then, afterward, he came closer and gripped her right hand so tightly that Matcha felt as if Ira's fingernails were digging into her arm. She whispered, "You want to lose to Matcha? Do you want your father to love her more? Is that so, Blue?"
There was one breath from him. "You must stay here. Defeat Matcha. Take everything from her, including she hopes. Understood?"
Matcha's chest rumbled, angry. Why... is this guy so mean?
