"You idiot!" Rio mocked, laughing until both hands touched his six pack stomach because it felt stiff and ticklish at the same time. How can there be a numb human who forgets to take off his helmet for a long time? Also, does a lowered helmet visor not interfere with vision? Perhaps the strangest human being created by God was only Arghi.
"Damn it! Why didn't you talk! No wonder you were looking at it from the moment you entered the building. Damn helmet!" he cursed while holding back his embarrassment. Ah, it turns out the first day wasn't as beautiful as he imagined. Even though he couldn't sleep last night thinking about the beautiful day at the beginning of the white and gray era.
The three of them then entered their respective classes. But apparently they met again because their names were on the same paper. The sign is that they will be in the same class next year. A coincidence that Rio should either be grateful for or regret. He just didn't like being in the same class as a creature as strange as Arghi.
"Yo, let's sit on the same bench, okay?" Arghi asked Rio who was walking in front of him. But, as he prepared to turn to sit next to Rio, Rio's two strong arms blocked him. This immediately caused a surprised frown to appear on Arghi's forehead.
"This is for Alvin. Sit here, Vin!" Rio said making Arghi feel betrayed. It would be in vain for him to follow Rio if it turned out that the man didn't agree to sit on the same bench as him. Rio laughed seeing Arghi's sour face when Alvin took a seat next to him.
"Then who do I sit with, Yo? People are so evil," he grumbled angrily. Resignedly sitting in front of Rio's bench. Really unlucky day. He put the helmet on his desk and slammed it slightly, venting his annoyance at his own bad day.
"Um, can I sit here?" asked a student who had just entered the classroom. He wore a pink hoodie with a picture of Piglet from the Winnie-the-Pooh cartoon series which looked very eccentric. Rio watched him and so did Alvin. Both of them felt strange when they saw someone wearing a hoodie in such a bright color to go to school. Moreover, he is a man. Yes... It's true that there is no prohibition on wearing pink for men, it's just that who is a man who wants to wear that sacred color?
"Oh yes, please," answered Arghi with an awkward smile. He then immediately glanced behind where Rio and Alvin were sitting to glare at Rio. As if blaming him for making her have to sit with strangers. Rio was indifferent and did not respond to the glare.
He was more interested in chatting with Alvin next to him. Instead of having to deal with a crazy person who comes to class with a helmet on his head. What a freak.
"Where did you move first?" Rio asked starting his conversation session with Alvin. Alvin turned his gaze to Rio next to him.
"To Jakarta, just returned this week," he answered calmly. Rio nodded. Alvin is a person who rarely speaks, but when he does speak, his demeanor is very calm and relaxed. Not changing since he was little makes Rio smile remembering his childhood.
"Still like playing games?" Rio asked, remembering his past. In the past, Alvin often invited him to his house to play games in his room. It's a PS game. Rio certainly doesn't deny that he also likes playing games, but not as crazy as Alvin.
"Still, let's go home after school. My PS has been upgraded," answered Alvin and at the same time invited Rio to his house to play. Rio responded by laughing. Absolutely unchanged. Alvin smiled when he saw his friend laughing, "You're really tall, aren't you," Alvin praised seeing his friend's sturdy body.
In fact, when they were both still snotty, Alvin was taller than Rio. Plus, Rio's face looks innocent like a toddler, making him like a little brother to Alvin. Now it's the opposite. Rio's face looks mature with a muscular body. Just like an adult man. Meanwhile, Alvin is two inches below Rio and his body is thin. It's like using illegal drugs.
"Yeah, drink lots of milk and exercise regularly. Not like you, playing games all the time until you forget to eat," said Rio, deliberately teasing. Alvin laughed at a sudden attack like that.
"Alvin likes playing games?"
Suddenly Arghi chimed in. He turned around looking eager to get involved in Rio and Alvin's conversation. This made Rio roll his eyes in annoyance. Can't Arghi handle his own affairs? He can chat with his seat mates, no need to join in the conversation with him.
"Yes," answered Alvin briefly and simply.
Arghi nodded in understanding. Then he was silent because he was confused about what other topic to look for. He glanced at his seatmate who was sitting quietly looking not at all interested in chatting with him. Then he glanced at Rio asking him to chat again. But, Rio was reluctant. Because his conversation with Alvin had been disturbed by Arghi and he didn't like it.
"You also like games?" Alvin finally asked. He was quite confused by the awkwardness that had crept into the three of them.
"Yeah, what do you usually play?" Arghi asked excitedly. He moved his chair closer to Alvin so he could chat more closely. Meanwhile Rio snorted at the sight.
"I usually play on PS but I also play on my cellphone," answered Alvin. He loves talking about games. If he doesn't talk about games too much with Rio, that's because Rio himself seems normal with games. Meanwhile, he loves games so much that he collects a lot of video games.
"Oh, I see, I just play on my cellphone. We can play games together sometime," said Arghi with a happy heart, Alvin nodded in agreement with the idea.
"Eh, you're Rio's school friend, right?" Alvin asked curiously.
"No, his neighbor. My house is right next to his house. But I don't know why I only met him yesterday, hehehe..." replied Arghi. He was still surprised how it was possible for two people who lived side by side to not know each other and would only smile kindly at each other without any intention of getting to know each other. How strange.
"Oh, well. Who lives in front of your house now, Yo?" Alvin asked curiously. The reason is that he and his family used to live in front of Rio's house. Because of his father's job, he and his family moved to Jakarta and sold the house. It's actually very unfortunate, to this day Alvin regrets having to move house.
"It's under contract. I think it's still empty now," answered Rio as he knew. Alvin nodded.
"Oh, Alvin used to live in front of your house, Yo?" asked Arghi excitedly. Those asked just nodded, reluctant to extend the conversation.
Their conversation was interrupted when an upperclassman in a neat suit entered the classroom. It seems that they will be the PLS committee or the abbreviation for introducing the school environment. OK, the white and gray period starts from this moment.
