Ch. 27Continue to be followed by stalkers

The sun is shining quite hot today. Several people were seen walking on the sidewalk, looking engrossed in their own conversations.

There was also a couple pushing a baby carriage, looking so intimate and full of affection. However, none of that caught his attention.

Currently his thoughts were focused on Soraya and the problems the woman had brought before him.

He was forced to give Soraya a big score so that she would resign and look for another lawyer. But when Soraya refused to look for another lawyer, Joshua Andrew became even more confused and curious.

There was a hidden fear in every word the woman said that made Joshua Andrew unable to banish the image of Soraya's face from his mind.

He took a deep breath, taking in as much oxygen as possible to calm his current feelings, but it was useless.

Soraya's presence has disrupted his world, and Joshua Andrew doesn't like this. He ran his fingers through his hair, a sign
frustration.

A chuckle behind him made Joshua Andrew turn around, then fold his arms in annoyance.

"That's enough! "I'm sure he will definitely come back here to ask for your help," said Mors casually.

“I didn't expect him to think about coming back here. It's Mors' fault!” Joshua Andrew emphasized as he stepped over to the bed and sat on the edge.

"Why? Didn't you say you could handle it?” Mors remembered as if he had forgotten his own words.

“I did manage to handle it. "I've made him leave and stay away," answered Joshua Andrew annoyed at Mors' gaze that belittled his seriousness.

"You're dodging," said Mors, amused and cynical.

“Dodge? Don't talk like you know what's inside my head, Mors!” said Joshua Andrew. He doesn't like it when Mors starts to interfere in his decisions regarding Soraya.

“Yeah, I know what's in your head. I know what you want, what you feel for him. I know Joshua Andrew, I know. You and I are the same. We love it. We want it. And, we need it," said Mors sarcastically, firmly and full of threats.

Mors expressed what he tried to hide as far as possible. He continued to stare at Mors angrily.

He didn't like it when Mors started to feel like he owned him, starting to influence his every decision.

The ringing of the cell phone took Joshua Andrew's gaze away from Mors, who was smiling the cynical smile typical of a cold-blooded killer. Joshua Andrew got up from the edge of the bed, then took the cell phone which he put on the small table beside the bed. Name Mr. Neandro is displayed on the cellphone screen. He immediately answered.

“Joshua Andrew, there's a problem you need to take care of. "Come to Alexa's place, we'll meet there," said Mr. Neandro was flat as usual.

“"Yes, sir," said Joshua Andrew obediently. He put the cell phone back on the table, then turned towards the wardrobe.

“Escape from reality?” mocked Mors casually, making Joshua Andrew snort in frustration. He didn't want to respond to the teasing, and immediately changed his clothes. Mr Neandro needs him now. At least, he could take his mind off Soraya for a moment.

The man stood watching Soraya from a distance. However, because the sun was still shining brightly, he decided to hide behind the car and act like the owner of the vehicle.

He tried to blend in with the busy atmosphere on Saturday, while his eyes continued to lock on Soraya's movements.

Occasionally he takes photos of the woman secretly using a cellphone camera to immortalize the results of his surveillance.

He had been following Soraya since the woman left the apartment building this morning. He didn't know what Soraya was doing in one of the big houses in the Epping area.

He waited and watched Soraya for almost 2 hours from across the house, until finally the woman came out with a sad expression.

He really didn't know what made Soraya bow her head and cry. He didn't even care. No lion cares what its prey feels. That's what he was like, numb.

Until now, he didn't understand why he had to stalk Soraya for more than a week even though she would still die in his hands.

He knew that the person who paid him must have his own reasons. But that's none of his business. He only did according to orders and payment.

After stalking Soraya who decided to turn into the apartment building, he waited there for an hour.

Today, Soraya is not working. That's what he got from one of his informants who he paid to do this light task.

Feeling that the woman didn't seem to be doing anything meaningful, he decided to go home and come back the next day.

This is an easy task with great pay. And, he liked it.

Soraya arrived home at around 14.00. His legs and body felt tired, but it was nothing compared to the feeling of disappointment that enveloped him at the moment. His hopes of finding out who killed his mother were dashed. At any time, he will not be able to pay Joshua Andrew.

While on the train, Soraya tried to calm her feelings and thoughts. After calming down, he repeated his conversation with Joshua Andrew.

Maybe Joshua Andrew is right, finding criminals is the job of the police. But at least, if he had a reliable lawyer, then Brad and his team would continue their research.

Soraya admitted that her words before leaving Joshua Andrew's house were an outburst of anger about her inability to pay the man.

Therefore, Soraya tried to rack her brain on how to make a lot of money in a short time.

However, until she arrived at the entrance to the apartment building, Soraya had not yet found a way.

Arriving at the apartment, Soraya took off her sweater, then put it on the long sofa along with her bag. She sat on the sofa with a tired sigh.

Her eyes stared at the TV screen which wasn't turned on, while Soraya's mind wandered to the amount of money she had to have. 10,000 Dollars. Where can I get that much money? thought Soraya .

She was lost in thought for a moment, and Kevin's name came to mind again. While on the train, Soraya tried to hold back her desire to contact the man.

But again and again, Kevin's name came back into his head.
