The movie shows a scene where Peter is on a trip with his friends. Avril chose to give up. Enjoying a movie with Matt is also a good option. Although yes, things were not going as Avril had expected.
Matt took another biscuit while glancing at Avril who was sitting on the other sofa. Then, at the same time, Avril took a more comfortable position. She laid her body on the arm of the sofa while her legs were dangling in the air. Avril's focus is on the movie while Matt pays attention to Avril.
The girl was wearing navy-colored jeans now with a white t-shirt that she tied at her side. Matt felt stupid now that he even noticed Avril breathing. Matt's eyes even fell on Avril's flat stomach.
"No!" Matt muttered.
"Huh?" Avril turned her head. "What's wrong?"
Matt felt nervous but he quickly chose to cover his feelings. "Nothing! I was just wondering why Peter didn't notice at all?"
Hearing Matt's words, Avril changed her position again. Now Avril was doing a Cleopatra-like position. She was resting her face on her left hand while lying on her side. Okay! Avril might be wearing a cute ribbon right now but the girl looks hot in her current position. It felt like Matt could be Avril's slave and give her wine while she was half lying down right now. Matt quickly dismissed the thought. Oh, my gosh! You're crazy, Matt!
"Right? I was really happy when MJ found the evidence! I mean, look at her! She's really smart," Avril said excitedly.
"You've always had spirit, huh?" Matt said in surprise. The man was even enjoying his life half-heartedly.
Avril frowned again. What was wrong with that? Avril didn't even lie down anymore. She had changed her position again and was now sitting on the sofa cross-legged with her body facing Matt. The man was now cursing himself. With Avril in this position, Matt could even admire Avril more.
"Like, yes!" said Avril. "My family says so too. I'm even the chatty one in my family."
Matt raised his eyebrows. "I can see that! You are chatty!"
Avril wasn't upset at all. Instead, she felt that this was an opportunity for her. Avril didn't have many opportunities like this with Matt. Now, he wanted to chat with her. Good move, right?
"What if I ask you the same question? Why are you so quiet?" said Avril.
Matt was now looking away from Avril and that was not a good thing. Unfortunately, Avril had no idea how Matt struggled not to notice her from head to toe. Matt had to vehemently deny his attraction to the girl. After all, it seemed like a fleeting feeling. Hey! They're talking about Avril Miller here! Anyone would be thinking the same thing as Matt.
"Because I'm a loser" Matt admitted. "You're spending your time with a loser."
Avril didn't answer right away. There was even a long pause. It forced Matt to pay attention to Avril. The girl was watching Matt with both hands folded in front of her chest now.
"I disagree," Avril said. "How can someone be called a loser? You're just happy to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, maybe.
I don't know you yet. Just because you like to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, like to be alone, then you're a loser?"
Avril's words just now managed to hit Matt. He felt like a loser because he looked stupid and even stayed away from people. Avril didn't sound happy at all.
"Being yourself, liking what you like, and living in your own comfortable world isn't weird. We're just enjoying life
right now. Enjoying life on your terms doesn't make you a loser," Avril said.
Matt glanced at Avril. This time, he paid attention to Avril. No! Matt didn't know Avril had such thoughts. Avril seemed like a popular person who only knew how to have fun by jumping from one activity to another.
"You understand, right?" Avril emphasized again. "I never waste my time at all. I do it because I want to."
Matt finally nodded. He rubbed the back of his neck in discomfort. This girl made Matt lose his voice. Strangely, Matt didn't want to ignore Avril at all after the brilliant thought he had just uttered.
"I see" Matt said.
Avril smiled with satisfaction. "That's good to hear."
Avril's smile made Matt react again. Matt was even sure that one smile from Avril could make any club that received her support energized. Yes! Maybe Avril was always this excited because she would give others a shot of encouragement. Alright! Let's change the subject. Matt feels like he's wasted his time watching Spiderman: Far From Home. He's already missed a lot. Noticing Avril again in search of a topic, Matt's attention returns to Avril and the outfit she's wearing.
This shirt is so hot!
Why does Matt keep thinking that sentence? Even though yes, the clothes Avril was wearing now were quite normal. It's just that a t-shirt and a knot on the side is not a good option. Matt couldn't stop thinking about Avril's flat stomach.
"You didn't change your shirt?" Matt said.
"Shirt?"
Matt cleared his throat. "Your shirt doesn't look comfortable to sleep in."
Avril smiled as she heard Matt's words. She glanced at Matt. "Are you being considerate with me? So? Are we friends?"
Matt regretted his change of topic. He should have refocused on the movie. Feeling like he wanted to stop all the craziness with Avril, Matt eventually chose to ignore the girl.
"Hey! I was asking a question!" Avril said disapprovingly. "answer my question first."
Matt sighed. "No, and no!"
Avril shrugged her shoulders dismissively. "I take it as a concern. As for the friend thing, I haven't given up at all, Matty!"
After saying that, Avril stood up from the sofa and ran towards the stairs. Avril intended to borrow Johanna's clothes.
"I don't like being called Matty!" Matt shouted.
Avril's body was no longer visible but Matt still heard her voice. "I didn't ask for your approval"
The Spiderman movie showed another attack scene. Okay! Matt didn't know the storyline now. However, his mind was on Avril who was on the second floor now. Now what should Matt do with her? Matt doesn't know how to deal with Avril Marrie Miller. However, just like Avril said, Matt is not ready to leave his perfect little world.
